So, I get this prompt in my notification menu that says, "Your login session has expired," and then it shows the facebook logo or something identifying it as facebook(I can't remember which.) So, I click it and log back in and it brings me to a screen saying that samsung would like to access my profile, so I click, "close," then the whole app just shuts down. Now maybe when an app tries to access your wall this is just the way facebook responds, but the whole thing just seems kind of shady. It acts as if you had been logged out and you need to log back in, then it just tries to get you press next the whole way through and allow samsung access to your facebook.
Disable SNS and it should stop entirely.

If you download the app "root tools" from the market you can turn it off. Its not an option on the main screen, though. once in the app, hit the menu button on your phone, go to settings, and its at the bottom of the options list.
you can toggle it on and off!
::thanks?did this help?::
Ya I'm rooted,
I tried what you said but it won't let me rename / delete,

You need to remount the /system partition as read/write in order to rename or delete the sound file.

Hmmm I don't use facebook so I'm not sure, but I would try clearing data or even uninstalling it and try again, because I read their whole bug forum and couldn't find any record of problems with facebook.

Did all that, still no luck, it connects me to facebook, lets me authorise the app and then gives error could not connect, please try again later...

What is this that... the + in the circle, left of the vibrate icon. (Screen shot included)
I looked on google and I can't find this "turn on notification" option...
Location services are off.
It's still part of the notifications. When they are turned on you get 3 lines to three right of it

Flash a Rom. There may be a mod in developers section to get rid of that location services icon.

I think it has something to do with GPS. I was curious of it too and I read about it in the manual.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
Found out it's the e911 location. Can't be disabled on stock but roms can remove the icon.
I have a weird data usage triangle constantly on my status/notification bar and ive never seen anything like it before and its very annoying.

VLRHD stock rooted deodoxed with a 4x5 modded twiz launcher. I actually got it to go away after turning the alerts on then off but i will reboot again just to double check that the notification is gone permanently.

Seems like an app to me. You could try s factory reset. But first try checking the data usage boxes from last post, reboot then uncheck them

i set it to 100gb but i think im just going to wipe the phone down to the stock image and go from their because i think something in my build.prop got messed up so yeah its really weird that i have the stupid notifaction in the first place because ive never seen it before. Also if i put it in airplane mode then reset the phone it doesnt show up until i take it out of airplane mode.
Anyone know of a way to have a pattern setup to lock the screen but only become active after 15 minutes of no activity? (I want the lock screen to stay enabled at all times, but only the pattern unlock to come up after the phone not being unlocked and used for X number of minute) The only thing I could find completely disables the lock screen until the time limit has been reached.
I had this option one of my Motorola and liked that function.

That doesn't exactly act like what I was talking about. While you're waiting for the screen to lock automatically, all you have to do is unlock the screen (with power button) and you're on your screen so there is nothing that requires you to slide to unlock while the pin requirement hasn't timed out yet.
It's like the way a blackberry locks the screen and only requires a password after 15 minutes of not being used.
