Hi Guys
Appologies if this has been asked before (I cant find) but my 2 week old S4 started playing up yesterday by constantly rebooting. It did this about 5 times whilst in touchwiz and then it would get as far as the Samsung logo with the blue glow, wait for about 10 mins and then reboot.
It now is stuck on the Galaxy S4 screen and wont do nothing.
Ive tried to get into recovery (Vol+ Home Power) and get the blue reboot top left and then nothing.
Hope somebody can help

Hello to you all.
Need some help, bought a chinese Galaxy SIII compatible a little less than 2 months ago, model: star i9300 3G, MTK6577.
Today the screen stopped working though the phone itself keeps working and getting calls, just the screen stays black.
Nothing happend to the phone, it didnt fall down or got knocked or got wet, it did worked well this morning.
I tried to charge the battery fully and change to a different battery, didnt help.
Please if someone has any idea, clue, experience what to do.
Thanks in advanced.
Gaby
P.S - hope i'm in the right forum.
- Maybe something with the Proximity sensor ??
do you see a boot logo or something? try to boot into recovery (vol-up + PWR) and if the screen still stays black, its a hardware issue.
Hi,
I just bought an MI4 2 weeks back. My phone got stuck while I was on a call and the screen sort of split 2 way. I thought it was an error so I tried to restart the phone but I must have pressed the volume down key and now my screen is stuck on FASTBOOT.
I have no idea how I did this and can't seem to figure out how to get my phone to work again. Just switched to Android, can't seem to get my head around the existing threads.
HELP PLEASE!
hi
go here and read well.
http://en.miui.com/thread-11047-1-1.html
I recently installed a root onto my S4 as well as Cyanogen Mod 12 (or 12.1). My battery has been draining quickly and I read that I just had to wait a few days. Still the battery just melted away like butter. So people (I believe on this very forum) advise to factory reset. I backed up and factory reset. When I did so, the Samsung logo appears, then the screen becomes grey, then black, then grey perpetually. I tried holding power, volume, and home, but they just make the Samsung logo appear again and it goes back to the loop of black and grey. This is the first time I seek help from this forum, so I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post.

Luckily i have found a solution and i hope everyone that has this problem sees this, so what i did was took out battery put back in held volume down home and power then it said volume up or down for 2 different options so i pressed down and my phone rebooted successfully i then powered of again just to check it didnt happen again and powered back on and it worked fine
Hey I was wondering if I can get some help on my phone I just bought.
It's been stuck on the boot screen (with some other lines that I haven't seen before) every time I start it up. I've restarted it many times already but it ends up at this screen each time. I've waited for a while now and it just stays on that screen.
Is there any method I can do to fix this?
