It is a very nice camera! Packs a lot of cool features as well.
Yes nice camera but ... after several shots, it seems to be the same as native camera

Links to all Roms can be found in the Infuse Super Everything Thread.
What is considered "good" varies depending on the person.
Though the best 'stability' would probably come in a Gingerbread rom, since they don't have any features missing.
However, if you don't mind a few (and I consider trivial), issues such as choppy HD video recording, I would definitely recommend a JellyBean rom such as CM10 or, my favorite, Paranoid Android.
They both are stable, smooth, and fast running Roms, and tend to have much better battery life!
Thanks a lot will check em out. One thing how is slim bean jb doing you know?

Slim Bean is working great and quite fast, and its only the first build. A new update should be up later.

I'd like to also add that Slim bean has been running the fastest and smoothest for me out of all of the 4.1.1 roms. The only downside with slimbean is choppy 720p recording. but Ive gotten past that. I rarely record video, and at 720p at that. I recently tried the new REMICS-JB based on Slim bean and that is fantastic if you like the new touchwiz. OC'd at 1600 and it runs like an S3
Thanks a lot! I flashed slim beam and it was legit but I will try the other one!

Jesus.. another of these threads?!?!
Dude, not being a **** or anything.. but do some legwork and read about different ones.. asking for people to post links for you is incredibly lazy... if you can't be bothered to do your own research, how do you expect people to do it for you?
Its powered by Jellybeaned AOKP!
I went from Froyo to Jellybean, first time ever using any ROMs and I love it!
Unfortunately, the things I use most, the Bluetooth and Camera/Video recorder do not function properly in Jellybean.
So I am probably going to go back to stock gingerbread with some of the enhancements/tweaks.
Just wanted to share.
I did do research ok so don't be quick to judge sorry I wanted other people's input in it.

Anything in particular that you'd like? Panorama? HDR? The AOSP camera app has panorama and photo sphere modes, and there are apps in the Play Store that can give you HDR shooting. All the iPhone camera features and more are in the stock Sense camera app, which you cannot get in an AOSP ROM. You're going to get the best shooting quality with Sense ROMs since they can leverage usage of the proprietary ImageSense chip which seems to help a bit in low-light shooting.
Edit: Whoops, thought you were OP. Still, if he's looking for features from his iPhone, he can kind of get them through other apps. If he wants the Sense camera on AOSP, he's going to be very disappointed.

It was a joke
I decided to start this topic since there was one about home screens (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2244735) and to celebrate the new breakthrough with finally enabling Photo Spheres for SGS4 i9505! (worked before with i9500).
Here's my first try: http://sphereshare.net/#!/s/d474cd663237f8ecd8dd71fce64736ab
I really like the possibilities you can have with this camera feature, although it is kind of hard to take good pictures since the lens must stay in one place and turn around it's (phones) axis.
Happy testing, photographing and posting!

One drawback though, it doesn't focus after you have started filming the sphere. That's why the other side of the pic is in focus while the further down side of the pic is whiter and not that crisp. I wish it auto-focused while taking each frame.
New Photo Sphere test pic. Flat image below, 360 sphere behind the link.

You can go here for the GS4 Google Edition camera with photosphere. It works in most of new devices.

Great video. You should just fix the focus next time so we can see the phone better.

Yeah I noticed that!
Does anyone wish to tackle this for our G3 running CM12.1? Would be an awesome camera for CM users!

Definitely interested how this could turn out.
Lol 240+ views, I'm surprised no one has done this yet. Of all the people whining about the Google camera, here is what you've been looking for. I would do it but I know nothing about compiling this stuff.
