For those of you who've dropped your brand, new Galaxy S4 and cracked your glass only, here's how to easily replace it with a new one instead of replacing the whole digitizer.
Thanks

This is only for the elite. I tried this and a piece of the shattered glass pierced the digitizer and nicked the LCD.

how difficult is it to replace it?
I'm thinking about doing that but read many comments about cracking the digitizer...
Hi Everyone,
I've searched and read a lot of posts but haven't found the answer I seek!!
I have a Samsung Galaxy SIII, dropped it, and hence cracked screen. I bought a replacement kit as a DIY job and followed all instructions to replace the screen. However.. When I tried to glue down the replacement screen, there didn't seem to be enough glue left over on the edges to hold the screen down flat.
My question is:
What sort of glue is used on the SIII? I want to buy the same product, add some more glue and fix down the screen properly!!!
P.S I've read about the double sided tape alternative, tried it, problem is, it leaves a slight gap and the screen isn't as responsive as it should be.
Thanks in advance
James

You have to be used with it as long as anything is working. The LCD and touchscreen are glue together with LOCA (Liquid optically clear adhesive) or OCA film. They glued to the frame around the edges of touchscreen. Full LCD assembly may cost around $180 to $200, you don't need to change it unless it's cracked. Separate LCD assembly from the frame may end up of damaging them if you don't have experience.
Hello.
I have a S3 Neo with a broken glass, a very damaged glass frame and lcd working fine. I m ready to buy a full framed, with good conditions glass but not working lcd.
Is it possible to change my lcd to this new frame and change this new frame to my phone?
