Hi,
I have a kindle fire (1st gen) with ICS, on some games the controls stick.
Examples are:
GTA III: When I am in a car, I have to press throttle every time I want to move or the (right or left) button just stick and it keeps on moving left or right.
PPSSPP: When I press X and right or left, right or left just stay pressed until I press X again.
Thanks for any help

I've been pretty happy with this phone, especially since I got WM6 on it but I'd like to be able to use Morphgear as an emulator. When I do, I like to use it in "west" orientation with my left thumb on the control pad and my two main buttons as Button 1 (the "mail" button) and Button 5 (the "comm manager" button) so I can press them at the same time with my thumb on 1 and my index finger on 5. When I try to map the buttons that way in Morphgear, it calls Button 5 Button 6 instead and it doesn't work in game. I thought it might be a Morphgear issue but I've tried it with other emulators and it doesn't work in them either. Why is that? Is there any way to correct it? Another annoying issue is that whenever I accidentally press the center of the control pad and Button 1 at the same time it wants to align the screen.
Any help?

Click to collapse
that combination is probably a built in feature to pull up the align screen program for your device, and i am pretty sure can be removed by tweaking the reg. settings that correspond to the short cut.
You should post your issue under the tnt rom thread to avoid creating redundant threads.
cheers
try vjcalibrula .
it may turn calibration combo off... it works on wizard, at last..
Open Chrome.
Click on the tabs button (right next to the URL bar).
Slide your finger upwards quickly (or not) a few times (only upwards) on the tab.
First, you'll see the regular behavior, which is the tab's bottom moving towards you and its topside moving away.
Then, after doing this a few times, the tab will spin quickly backwards.
Pretty cute.
Really cute.
Tried forwards but haven't worked ''/
So I installed Quake 3 with no problems. It runs smoothly with A2.
Trouble appears, when I connect bluetooth mouse and keyboard. First of all Apple Magic Mouse simply does not do anything with the phone whatsoever, even though it pairs and connects(this has nothing to do with Q3). When I connect Magic Trackpad the cursor appears and works fine. However, when I run Q3 the cursor is stil there! And when I move the cursor the aim does not move. The only way to aim is to hold the left button and then move, which is lame.
So I have to questions:
1. Why magic trackpad works and magic mouse does not? (non q3 question)
2. How to make the mouse move the aim without having the left button pressed ?
For the second one, you probably need to turn mouselook on. In the Q3 console it is probably mouse_look 1 or something like that
So basically i have been trying to find a good controller from my android to my PC, i cant even find one with two joysticks.
anyway my main question is. Is there a virtual controller for android that uses motion patterns instead of a virtual buttons, for example if i swipe in a half circle clockwise it is the x button or if i swipe to the left on the left side its the square button. instead of always accidentally miss hitting a button or excreta. dont know if this would really work either but in theory it seams like it would.
I tried talking a screenshot but the game space settings slide out doesn't appear in the screenshots. Anyways, when I enter game mode and go into a game, I need to remap the buttons for the controller but I can't anymore. When I slide out the side settings, controller is grayed out. The controllers are on, charged, and connected. I've remapped them a thousand times in the past but now I can't. It's always grayed out. Any tips?
Been trying to fix this issue for a week. I post the problem on here today and if course, I solve it afterwards. If this happens to anyone else, go into the gamespace, not into a game or emulator, into the gamespace and press the little d-pad button. It'll reconnect with the controllers and start recognizing them again.
Also, bonus tip for using 2 e-sports controllers, (or whatever they're called), emulators and other games seem to register the left one as the master one. To keep from the right one doing the same exact controls as the left controller, only upside down; when you map your left and map your right buttons, be sure to switch back to the left controller, the master controller before closing the mapping settings. When you close the map settings with the left selected, both controllers will function as you expect, but if you close the map settings with the right selected, it will mimic the left but upside down.
