[TOOL] chef droid - online tool to remove system apps / bloatware - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

Hey there,
A few years ago I developed this platform for android devices that allows you to generate a ClockWorkMod Recovery (CWM) script file to remove system apps or bloatware. I published on the SGS and SGS2 foruns but since it can be used by any android device I'm also posting here.
chef droid - http://www.chef-droid.net/en/
(chrome web app - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/...nflldjonoogognbdl?hl=en-US&hc=search&hcp=main)
disclaimer:
All functionalities were tested on SGS / SGS2 and have been used for a while without any reported problems, but as always by generating and using a chef droid script you know that you're using it with your own risk.

Recently developers have discovered that inside Jelly Bean there is the MultiUser support, so this script enables it and let you use the MultiUser on your Android!!.
ATTENTION!!: This function is in a developing status, so has said Google. So, if something goes wrong, you have to blame Yourself and yourself only!
Just run the .exe file and follow the instruction! It is really easy to use and to understand!!
ATTENTION!!: Please be VERY CAREFUL when you delete an account! Don't do this if you don't know what are you doing!!!
This script should work on all android devices that have android version 4.1+!!

TeamViewer Quick Support working on i727 with AOSP

For those of you who don't know, TeamViewer recently released a specialized app called 'TeamViewer Quick Support', which is a really nice app that allows you to control a remote smartphone almost as if you were holding it in your hand. The problem was that it is specifically designed for stock Samsung phone meaning it wouldn't work on custom ROMs.
However, it appears the issue has been solved for those of you using AOSP ROMs. I myself can confirm it is working on TeamChopstick's CyanogenMod 9. The download links are below.
Mind you, this has not been done by me. Please go to THIS THREAD and thank the OP. You can also find the ARMv6 version in his thread.
Download (CWM flashable ZIP)

* Remember, you need at least 4+ MB of free space on /system to flash those ZIPs!

[APP CONCEPT] Rom manager redesign.

so i was keeping this to myself as it was going into real development as a new application but before it really took off its development has died so i thought id show you all what i was working on.
basically i wanted an app that would bring roms, kernels and their developers to the forefront; at the same time providing a way to manage your currently installed configs, in a similar fashion to rom manger.
seeing as development has died i've decided to share this as an idea on how 'I' would like to see a rom manager application look. the app was heavily inspired by the google card UI and the android play store. hope you like it and if anyone would like to use the concept be my guest.
i think the images below is pretty self explanatory so enjoy.
EDIT: sorry about the huge image size.

[UTIL] Android Software Detonator - Software to speed up reverse-engineering

Hi!

I was struggling to create clear folder structure for maintaining reverse-engineering projects. Also doing everything manually took that much time I preferred not to compile app and read .java files of cracked application just to check that I didn't break anything while working with Smali. That's why I created this project. The code is mostly uncommented but I have made it pretty easy to read if you know basics of Ruby though I'm thinking about commenting it soon.
The software is Linux only at this moment since I'm lazy, I don't like Windows and there is no good reason to prefer Windows over Linux while reverse-engineering.

I hope you enjoy, report bugs and contribute. And as always I'm not responsible of your acts and this shall not be used for apps that you don't have permission to reverse-engineer!

Android Backup/Restore for Rooted phones?

I'm having some problems with my LG v30, and want to do an 'easy as possible' reflash, and 'selective' restore.
I have slow internet, and I'm hoping to streamline the process some. What kinds of backup and restore methods are people using for their Rooted Androids?
Cheers
Personally am preferring a NANDroid backup - is the best choice, IMO.
