Should be ok.

Looks good, I like the tweaks to the kernel. Will test out and report back

A bad bug has arisen. The legacy menu button is gone from the nav bar. The only way to make it show is by always showing it. I use the xda app, and it wasn't appearing
Also, is it possible to edit the duration of quick peek? Thanks. Loving the ROM so far

The difference is what you stated. This has cherry picks, the other does not
Dirty flash is flashing a ROM over another ROM without wiping, usually it needs to be similar. In this case, both are cm10.2, so you can

DJL - great work, bud! Really loving having some customization abilities on CM. The only thing that I have noticed so far was that CPU clock speeds don't stick when you set them. They reset to defaults 1052-1566 once you plug the device into the charger.

Do u keep your plan for Nexus 5 as well? I will have my device in 2-3 days but I'll keep it "clean" and standard till u give us a ROM for him....

Yea the new Google launcher isn't optimized for tabs so there are some issues. I'm just using nova and its working well I'm not into the slide out search anyways. I'm getting the N5 for a Christmas gift hopefully it will still be available. Working on a new build with a few extras hopefully have it out tonight. I don't have a build server still so it takes some time to compile on my macbook.

I had installed Dj8218521's 4.4 before you got yours out, but I'm switching over. I wasn't having any unexpected issues but, for me, you dah man. lol.
Looking forward to great things. I am really liking what I have seen in terms of how "lean and mean" kitkit is. Just goes to show how much can be done on the software side to improve user experience without relying wholly on faster hardware.

OrionLP is a project based on slim. The name Orion was chosen as a representation of the beauty and vastness of world around us (Too much Philosophy, eh? ). We started this project for falcon (Moto G), to make a stable Rom which would include Bitsyko layers and important customization. The Rom is built with Uber toolchain which delivers awesome smoothness and is packed with a custom kernel built from ground-up to ensure good performance [WIP]. Needless to say, this project is a product of our hobbies and the love we bore for Android.

Hi guys! As promised i'm sharing with you this new Rom, Slim-Based, RRO-Theming, and it seems very good! I wish to thank all xda-friends who donated some bucks to me, i recently got a new SSD, so i can build more roms for our device.... STAY TUNED!
ROM is UP
Thanks for sharing/making this rom! It's really hard to choose which rom I should flash as there are like 5 different AOSP roms out there and I'm unsure of which one is the most stable and battery efficient.
thanks,I will flash the rom!!!downloading!

The good news and fun part of it is that you have the opportunity to try them all and decide yourself.
Really promising rom, only feature I'm missing is bottom lockscreen shortcuts switcher. Really good alternative to Tesla and XenonHD.
Unn.
Been using this ROM since release and all is good here
Nice work
uploading new version guys (37% up...), now i'm going to sleep. Dirty flash should be ok. :highfive:

Any chances for next build the alucard hotplugging system can be introduced? The alucard governor is there, seems strange why it's not. It's very efficient on other devices

Thanks man, alucard and mako hotplugs were my favourite from lg g2 and lg g3 camp and the battery consumption went down significantly, and GUI was fluid

there's also another thing. Recently installed UKM(universal kernal manager ) and tried to install synapse and found it wasn't compatible. I'm going to guess synapse is SE-linux permissive and since orion is SE-linux enforced it's preventing me from using synapse. Also discovered that installing pirated apps doesnt work, I mean hey it doesn't really affect me cuz I'v'e always paid for my good apps, but I would like to know what gives here hehe.
I like synapse, the gui isn't as well structured as kernel aduitor's but kernel aduitor sometimes misbehaves. Under CPU settings it loves to stick to 300 Mhz as the max freq and this bug becomes quite annoying from time to time.
turning to other kernel managers theyre not as feauture rich as either synapse or kernel auditor
All in all I can't complain, things are very stable for note 3. Your kernel is pretty decent and it's in my opinion almost on par with arter's. I'm liking this one more though.
A few more hotplugging alternatives such as alucard(apparently amazing for listening to music while phone is in a low powered state) or mako hotplugging system, KCAL(really helps clean out that annoying yellow warm tint issue that affects certain note 3 displays without chewing up processing power)
and maybe throw in the trip-n-driod I/0 scheuler and kernel would have what it takes to destroy arter.
But I understand adding too many things increases overhead
NB = I love how it supports fastcharge. CF-lumen works to get rid of warm display issue but it uses more raw processing power from what ive been told. I could be wrong
I know about the Mako and alucard hotplugs cuz I came back from a lg g3 running nebula kernel and was very impressed. However never truly enjoyed it long run because of issues with my lg g3 i owned at the time. It was defective hardware-wise but that's a different story and won't ramble about that

next version will have alucard hotplug for sure, try flash this if you want https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=...//www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=36770
Man I'm having a nerdgasm, alucard hotplug on PACMAN ROM is running exactly as how I expected. Battery life is stellar and music doesn't chew a lot either. I'd like to thank you lord ecko and encho for these changes. Its about time there was a kernel to compete with what arter97 is dishing out. He's made it perfectly clear, from posts I read, he won't add features and I understand, it adds overhead but still sucks because there are some amazing hotplugs, CPU governors, I/0 controllers etc....
I'll be testing these new kernels across all AOSP ROMs.
Orion, euphoria, PAC-ROM and slimLP are fav's. They each have their quirks about them them that makes it so enticing to switch back in forth. I think I have ROM flashing fever lmao
NB = I don't expect a kernel to have everything.
new version is up (1.4) - new kernel inside. try and report

Lovely to have more choice . Is this your own personal source or based on the Kumajaya unified build? (I'm quietly asking if this is compatible with Aqua). No worries if not should be really awesome!

Layers support broke from alpha 0.3 to 0.4 road. It will be fixed in next alpha, hopefully from today to Friday.

Very fast, good and stable ROM. Thanks @csolanol for bring to us a very good alternative to Miui. The battery is ok. For the moment is beatter than CM13 @emfox / @ketut.kumajaya because have implementation of hotplug and also you can underclock frequency to 302 MHz. It is a faster ROM that I test for mi4c.
Good work. Looking forward for the next build.

We are testing hotplug and savoca kcal on ketut.kumajaya kernel, I think on next build can be implemented.
Hi. Did you know how can i turn off button backlight? When i swap the button (left handed) that would be nice option. Slim’s hardware key rebinding is a great think. Thx.

Small info for users.
1) ROM support Xposed.
2) If you got video stucking with HW decoder then set decoder to HW+.
3) Don't flash magisk before first boot. Flash it only after boot.
4) Flash Gapps after ROM. If you will boot to system without gapps there's nothing I can do.
5) If you got bootloop, logo stuck, etc. booting troubles then go to TWRP, format data, wipe system, cache, dalvik-cache and flash ROM again. If you got bootloop with new Gapps then try to flash older Gapps (I'm using 15.03.2018).
6) If you want to get heating troubles with very fast charging then go to /system/vendor/etc and delete thermal-engine.conf.
7) If you got troubles with encryption then got to TWRP and FORMAT (not wipe) data.
Nice
Let's Try It And See the New Awesomeness Of AEX

Is vilte working?
Volte workings?
Volit is working fine.. I am on 18.4.2018 build.
Also thank you developer @jar2105 loving it also one question should I update it to the XX.4 version or wait for a major update.
Also with my experience I never had any problems with magisk (I flashed it along with the rom after the gapps)
Every one asking for volit, it depends on roms source and its aospextended guys one of the firsts to bring oreo.. And aospextended has volit Integrated in its sources.
Try this rom guys you will not regret, smooth as hell and the defoult kernel is also very good.
Thank you ?
