I guess Gingerbread is already undergoing rigorous hack-testing. The Android 2.3 Gingerbread Keyboard is now available to get ported on to rooted devices running Android 2.2 Froyo. According to the source, this keyboard is only compatible on rooted phones with Froyo. Here is the reference link.

Nexus S - Old Android Version

Hey guys,
i've read about the BootManager for android, which makes it possible to boot multiple roms... So i wonder if it is possible to boot an older android version (like 1.5) on our phones next to gingerbread?

At this moment BootManager is not supported for nexus s,and it allow you to boot 5 custom rom you have install.
But there is no version 1.5 to 2.2 available for nexus to my knowledge.

[Q] Can I upgrade to Android version 4?

I have a Samsung GT-I5500 running Android version 2.2. I have Kies on my pc, can I upgrade to Android version 4 and if I can any help in doing this.

check on the internet if your mobile supports android 4.0 because not all mobile supports it
Hello, samsung does not make a upgrade for your device. However, you can install a custom rom, but cusrom's with android 4 for your device ar still in developing.

Running Newer Android Apps on lower version of Android?

Hey, all so just for some context I have on me a Samsung Tab 4 - SM-T230NU
That I been trying to find a ROM for so that I can upgrade the Android OS on it.
Unfortunately, I am finding that is a no go, there are no ROMs at least that I can find for it that newer then Kitkat
So now I am asking
Is it possible on a rooted Android Device to run apps strictly made for newer versions of Android?
