Hi,
I guess Gingerbread is already undergoing rigorous hack-testing. The Android 2.3 Gingerbread Keyboard is now available to get ported on to rooted devices running Android 2.2 Froyo. According to the source, this keyboard is only compatible on rooted phones with Froyo. Here is the reference link.
I got an HTC DHD, running Android 2.2, and there is a system software available now to upgrade it to 2.3..
My query is that if i do switch to 2.3, and if any battery issues do occur, can i downgrade from 2.3 to 2.2 or from 2.3 to a custom ROM..??
Hey guys,
i've read about the BootManager for android, which makes it possible to boot multiple roms... So i wonder if it is possible to boot an older android version (like 1.5) on our phones next to gingerbread?

Hello
At this moment BootManager is not supported for nexus s,and it allow you to boot 5 custom rom you have install.
But there is no version 1.5 to 2.2 available for nexus to my knowledge.
Chaps I have an old spica which run android 2.3, and I was wondering if there is a better version that is supported and that it is safe and stable to install?
thanks
Got this tablet secondhand for the wife to watch Youtube TV on. Unfortunately it looks like the minimum Android version is 5.0 and the official updates don't go that far.
What stable ROMS of the ones available here are at least 5.0 ?
Only one listed in Android Development .

best running rom on lollipop would be blisspop rom. Since it is also overclocked- thus running smoothly as a buttered crumpet.
