Flashed the CM 10 ROM on my HTC One S. Everything works amazing, but for some reason the autoflash on the camera doesn't work at all. If I turn the flash on manually it works.
I have tried a couple of other camera apps (camera 360 and Ucam) and the autoflash feature works with no problems.
Has anyone had this happen or does anyone out there know of a fix.
Thanks for the help.

I don't remember issues like this on CM10 though I am currently having autoflash issues with CM10.1 nightlies. When you say doesn't work - does it still take a picture with no flash or does it not take a photo at all? In CM10.1, the camera seems to "hang" when the flash is required.
It actually does still take a picture. If I turn the flash to ON, it works without any issue. I'm on the stable release of CM 10
Hey I'm new to all this and rooted and installed the jelly bean rom. Now my camera give me the camera fail msg. Front facing camera works in apps but cant get it to switch over. Pretty sure I didnt save stock rom. Should I try a different Rom or what should I do? Any Help would be great
I live in Mauritius Island in the Indian Ocean. My phone is unlocked and on stock rooted GB, mobile data was working well with my local mobile network. After upgrading to cm10.1, was working great.
But after flashing Beanstalk 10.2, calls and SMS were working, but mobile data was not working with my network's access point.
Flashing cm10.2 did not help either.Flashing cm10.1 did not resolve it although at first, data was working.
Returned to stock rooted GB with same access points settings and mobile data working again!
Anyone's help would be much appreciated as I found the stock ROM quite messy.
But I wouldn't mind staying on stock as I now have a great camera and music player again compared to CM although this would be my last resort

Thanks tried that before when I messed up restoring SMS app.
But I can't figure out how to get my mobile data working on a custom ROM.It's working on stock GB ROM, but not on JB???
Before restoring to stock,I could only use WIFI for internet on my phone
Stock is okay, but is a little too slow.I miss you JB.
Crap you Samsung for making your own custom chips instead of using normal Qualcolmm chips.

Let me qualify by saying I've very limited with APN other than stock at&t.
However, I don't see any reason why with the CORRECT APN, G,B ICS or JB would handle it any differently.
It's possible that there is some sort of toggle that may be turning off your mobile data.
Try a Google Play data toggle like "dataswitch" to see if it can turn on your data.
or under Settings/Data - make sure mobile data is ON
Thanks!
Switching mobile data in settings makes no difference unfortunately
I'll do an ultimate flash on cm JB 4.2.2 with gapps 12/12 signed and see in the coming days

Okay I did some research and found an alternative APN setting. Flashed cm 4.2.2 and it worked again.
Cheers qkster
ok, after installing superliterom v3.0
I ran *#0*# test
checked all things including megacam and frontcam
since then, camera is taking poor shots in mid light. pics are darker, flash doesnt light on full intensity when final capture, but works perfect while focusing
i reflashed stock rom but still same, now above test give error on megacam and front cam : Unfortunately, LCDTEST has stopped
i thought of flashing camera f/w using *#34971539#, on superlite rom as well as stock ne1
does this code work for you, can you make a backup for your firmware and upload here?
i really like this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/spr...t/rom-sprint-ok4-stock-tar-file-odin-t3262667 but there have been updates since then that add security the OK4 has actually improved LTE and general signal for me.
I have one I'm working on, it boots but I keep getting a fc with car mode.
