HTC One S 4.2.2/Sense 5 Question - HTC One S

I'm kind of a newbie, I just know how to flash roms and what not. Are there currently any roms for the One S that have the look of Sense 5 preferably Android 4.2.2. I have found some but there are way too many bugs. I am big wifi tether user, so I need that and camera to definitely work. Also, what is the newest (stable) rom for the One S?

Most stable Rom are the STOCK ROM......

No Sense based 4.2.2 because we haven't got the kernel for that working yet. All Sense 5 ROMs have no working Bluetooth or Wi-Fi tether. I wouldn't consider any third party ROM on here as "stable". Closest thing would probably be CyanogenMod 10.1.

I'm using UnKnown's Rom, it has sense 5 icons, it is stock plus all the stuff he did to it. The battery life is killer. It's as stable as stock.

Hello all,
So I just unlocked my phone's bootloader. It's a Telus htc one x with 1.91 firmware running on ics. Just wondering which rom I should flash? I used evita if that means anything. Would like jelly bean if possible.
Thanks

So I can flash anything from this section of forums? I like sense, I flashed CM10 just to get it officially rooted. Looking for the lastest and greatest, just don't know where to download, unless it's just scattered across here.
Go to android development forum there are a number of sense jb roms. Not a lot of tweaks in them yet as the Rom just got released. I use viper and its very stable but there are a few choices

THIS IS MY PREFERENCE: If you want a stock android feel with the battery and camera of Sense use Senseless RebelROM (in android development Sexton). Right now it's in beta and the video camera doesn't work but other than that it's phenomenal. As the precious poster said, Viper is also a great choice. If you don't like Sense, Nocturnal Dirty and Jellybam are both good choices.

Thanks! I'm trying out Viper now, had it for 3 days. I think I might try out Nocturnal or Jellybam.

[Q] Favorite Sense ROM?

Due to the wireless issues i seem to always have with the cynogen roms, I'm probably going back to using a sense based one. Is there one thats nearly stock, or is stock? If not, what do you guys like to use? I want one thats smooth, and doesn't have any issues since this is for my daily driver. Really im curious what everyone likes to use.
There's a few in android development that are stable and jb based

Viper 3.0, very smooth (JB) and stable for me.
See, I tried Viper for a day or so, it just seemed bloated with all the custom software they put into it. It just seemed bogged down.
Newts JB sense 4+ really smooth and nearly bug free(depending on who you ask). No bugs for me though.

Ok, ill have to look into that.

Really? The tweaks are the selling point for me. Where you running the stock kernel? I really like CleanRom but that's all it was, just a clean Rom. I really like ViperXL 2.4.1. Coming from jailbreaking iPhones, Viper personally appeals to me from tweaks alone.
I'm itching to try 3.0.0 though but no Venom tweaks as of yet. How about JellyBam?
ATT HOX Premium App--Stock is fine but modded is Creative
CleanRom and King Cobra
Best sense ROM is tachi91's new jellybean ROM. Then flash the new radio.

I use Viperxl with all the bloat erased and elemental kernel. Very stable and get awesome battery life. No reboots etc.

Comparing Stock and Trickdroid..

Hey guys, which Rom do you prefer to use? Stock jb or TrickDroid 6...Share me Ur opinions pls.

You probably meant TrickDroid 9.1 unless you own HTC ONE X which has the TrickDroid 6.
I personally prefer TrickDroid which improves dramatically the performance and the battery time as well as many other tiny tweaks.

TrickDroid 6.0.0 can be better adjusted than STOCK ROM
enigma19932 : Add a version of S3
Everyone has different preferences I guess. I prefer stock vanilla android but don't mind sense. If you are going to use a sense based ROM I'd recommend viper ROM or if you prefer stock android, code lungo or pacman ROM are the best I've seen so far

Stable ROMs for new user?

Hello, I'm new to the One S
I want to start flashing on this bad boy, but I want to know which roms are stable and have no bugs. I see lots of 4.2.2 and experimental stuff, but I need a fully working phone. Doesn't matter if sense or aosp!
Also, its the s4 processor one

Most ROMs are very stable apart from any of the sense 5 ROMs, try cm10.1 or vipers

On my Note 1, I just recently changed from the excellent Beanstalk ROM, which I love, to the new Carbon ROM with android 4.31, etc. I am loving this ROM too! It's quick, smooth, battery fine, and it has a decent range of customizations. What's more, after I had been using and increasingly loving this ROM, they (the Carbon team) made it compatible for my favourite, goto device, the HTC One X. This device had always been beautiful when you get rid of the sense software and strip it down and use a decent AOSP ROM. Therefore, I'm currently a huge Carbon fan and haven't, as yet, found anything wing with it. I hippie this had proved useful.

I have a note too With stock rom. So you suggest carbon rom is the best?
currenty I use CM 10.2. But I flash PAC ROM, in the next days...
I tell you what, the Beanstalk ROM breathed new life into my galaxy and it was difficult to simply change it to anotheranother ROM. However, I love changing ROMs and luckily the new Carbon ROM is great! Also, at the end of the day you can always revert back to stock if you want. My regards and enjoy.
