Here are the questions...
1) If i ROOT my Sony Xperia J will i have the whole control of the phone?
2) At my phone it says, Bootloader unlock allowed: Yes. What does it mean? that it is rooted?
3) What should use? Jailbreak? Boot loader? (there are more i think but i want the best one )
4) Is it easy?
5) With one tool, i can root the whole phone including ROM, Kernel etc?
6) If i do something wrong and the phone crash, will i be able to fix it?
7) Any REAL video tutorial?
8) What is tft and where does it help?
9) After ROOT, will i be able to bring it back to normal?

1) Yes, you gain SuperUser privileges granting you access to everything.
2) That means that you can request a bootloader unlock code from Sony to unlock your bootloader, allowing you to flash custom kernels and more custom ROMs.
3) Do you mean to root or unlock the bootloader? To root use the guides in our forums, to unlock the bootloader request your bootloader unlock code from Sony and use flashtool to unlock it.
4) I don't use an Xperia J, rooting seems easy for it. Unlocking the bootloader is simple enough.
5) As I said, I don't use an Xperia J. You would need to use one tool to Root and another to flash Kernels. ROMs are flashed using a recovery program.
6) If it is a soft-brick you can recover the phone. You know it is a soft-brick when it; bootloops, won't turn on but LEDs light up or it vibrates but doesn't turn on. You recover it by flashing stock firmware in flashtool.
If it is a hard-brick there is no way (what I am aware of) to recover it and you need a new phone. You know when it is a hard-brick when the phone won't turn on. Don't confuse a dead battery with a hard-brick.
7) It depends on what you need a video tutorial for. If it is for recoving from a soft-brick or how to Root then it is more than likely.
8) You mean .ftf, tft is a screen. But anyway, an .ftf file is the stock firmware. You need it to restore your phone to stock.
9) It depends on the method you use I think. You can generally unroot your phone after rooting it. Remember, if you unlock your bootloader you lose your warranty, even if you re-lock it.
I want to suggest you that rooting your device wont give you more fun,if you are interested to learn that things then n then root ...

watch this video to unlock it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iIdJg7KNH3A
and a bootloader allows you to flash kernels/recovers/ and other custom things but only if it is unlocked.
with custom recovery you can install roms, make full system backup, and other things.
a custom kernel wil allow you to overclock cpu/gpu and more.
a custom recovery can be used to flash root.update zip.
but after unlocking bootloader you void your warranty . and your device got hard reset(factory reset)
it can be only unlocked if it is allowed to be unlocked.

Not entirely true, at least to all devices. I have a Moto Defy which also has a locked bootloader, no way to unlock, running KK CM11. Developer @pedrodh has managed to create an app called "2ndinit" (1) which allows a second kernel to boot on top of the locked one, allowing to flash new builds despite the locked bootloader. Because of this, Defy is known as unbricable. Similar approach could be used on E3 if some devel take a look into this.

i also need help for that
Search for "flashtool", download and install. Sony formwares come packed as FTFs, you can make them yourself too using flashtool. Don't update the phone first. Search giefroot, it will root your phone. Search "nut dual recovery" and install it after rotting. After this, never flash FTFs until there's nothing else you can do. Search "xperifirm", it will be used to download latest firmware for your device. "xperifirm will download a bunch of files to a folder and flashtool can use these files to make a FTF. Search "PRF creator" PRF is prerooted firmware. PRF C makes a zip file of latest firmware which you can flash through recovery. Wait till your phone is here, once you are doing it, it will become clearer. Search "Backup TA". This should be first thing to use after you root.
if you want to flash custom roms you will need to unlock the bootloader which will invalidate your warranty
how to root is on the first page of the general thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3/general/guide-rootrecovery-how-to-root-install-t3017056
Can i root without unlocking bootloader?
I read, that the picture quality suffers when rooting, or was it unlocking, or both? can custom roms cope with that fact, or will it stay, whatever i flash afterwards?
thanks!

everything i wrote works without unlocking the bootloader except installing other ROMs
Hello,
Excuse me for asking such question but I have never Boot Unlocked & Rooted any Sony smartphone so I'm confused here. I have only rooted LG and Samsung before without Unlocking the Boot as it was straight forward process. I have found this tutorial and everything is fine as I have got "Bootloader unlock allowed" in service information which confirms that I can root my Xperia. However when I visit the official website to get my unlock key it says that I need to be on software version 18.3.C.0.37 where my one is 18.6.A.0.175. Do I just use this official website to generate the unlock key and then use the flashtool to do it anyway ? I have use flashtool before but just for flashing the TFT file. Also after I unlock the bootloader how do I install custom recovery mode then install or back up the whole OS ?
If someone would help me I will appreciate your help. :good:
Thank You.
Ok, so right now you don't need to unlock bootloader to root M2 with 5.1.1. (At least not on 2306). Anyway, when you go to official website, they ask for your imei (after selecting your device). And then they give you the unlock code, they tell you how to unlock the BL with such code, with some SDK tools, but i prefer using flashtool since it does the job for me. So, after you open up flashtool, click on the icon that sais "BLU", it will ask you to select your device, you do so. After that it will ask for the unlock code, you put it in and click on unlock. After that it will do a procces, when finished, your BL will be unlocked.
I do gotta tell you, i've unlocked BL for 2 or 3 devices, all of the times everything goes right, exept once. After unlocking BL i ended with a bootloop. So for this case just turn off the phone, and flash any ftf. Bootloader will not re-lock after flashing.

Ok, thanks !
Also why do they say I need a software version 18.3.C.0.37 ? Could it be that their SDK tools require such version where Flashtool works on all of them ? Do you know how I can install custom recovery ? Do I still use CWM Recovery or something new and how can I flash new rom into it ? I have also heard something about emma when flashing rom ?
Thanks a lot for the help, I really appreciate it :good:

Sure no problem, about that i'm not sure, i've never had that android version issue before. For CWM you can get it here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-m2/general/d2303-philz-touch-recovery-6-t3047492
Go to where it says "Download recovery" and download latest version (V0.7). Of course you have to be rooted in order to install. After you have root, enable usb debuging on your phone, and enable unkown sources just to be sure. Open the install.bat inside the file you just downloaded and follow the steps.
After you have CWM you can flash roms and other stuff.
Hey guys,
I tried out the Android Concept MM when it first came out and i was a huge fan and insanely satisfied due to it's stock-like android experience, however the only thing keeping me away from using it is lack of root and xposed, however i was wondering can i just make a pre-rooted ftf with the ftf of the concept with recroot 4? like i would with a normal Marshmallow ftf or am i completely wrong?
I would appreciate the help thanks!
Concept ROM uses dm-verify, so it's unrootable on locked bootloader. However I've managed to root it on unlocked bootloader before somehow. I'll try to explain as best as I can:
1. Download and flash concept FTF http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3/...arshmallow-t3229030/post66825447#post66825447 (this is latest one I could find)
2. OTA update to the latest version if you want
3. Download Systemless SuperSU zip and place it on SD card https://download.chainfire.eu/921/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.65-20151226141550.zip
4. Flash recovery via fastboot (it needs unlocked bootloader) (for recovery I used this one) : http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3/development/z3-twrp-2-8-7-0-d6603-t3273996
5. Don't leave fastboot mode! Navigate with volume keys to "recovery mode" and click power button to enter it.
6. Flash SuperSu you downloaded earlier and then reboot.
7. Done, enjoy your rooted Concept.

Thanks but damn that sucks, i don't really wanna' lose DRM keys plus i still have 1 year of warranty left.
Also, (http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3/development/rom-zyxxos-5-1-1-v1-0-pure-stable-fast-t3229169) ZyxxOS requires a unlocked bootloader, however is there anyway i can replace the boot.img with one that's utilized on a locked bootloader ROM or will that not work

Well, ZyxxOS has Sony's Concept based kernel. The developer itself at first thought it will work on locked bootloader, but it didn't. You could try to flash original Concept .2099 kernel, but I don't think it will work.
As for DRM, you can easily backup them before unlocking, but it's up to you.

I'm confused with the effect DRM has but is there anyway to avoid them? Like if i backup do i just restore them after unlocking my bootloader?
Ideally, i wanted to run a AOSP like ROM and i hoped to remove all Sony stuff etc from Concept, However i'm just reluctant to unlocking my bootloader
This is probably the stupidest idea ever, I have close to no knowledge however what happens if i put Stock Sony 6.0.1 Kernel which has already obtained recovery without unlocking bootloader and flash SuperSU via that?
Alternatively, is there anyway to convert Our current Stock 6.0.1 into True Stock Android

Looking into Android 6.0 Complications from this article (http://www.xda-developers.com/a-look-at-marshmallow-root-verity-complications/)
It states the following:
If you want root today, on Android Marshmallow (6.0), you’re going to need to use a modified boot image. While it remains to be seen if this remains true indefinitely, it looks likely to be the case for some time – SELinux changes make it much harder to get root access without modifying the boot image. And as modifying the boot image requires an unlocked bootloader

So i'm assuming Z3 Has SELinux thus preventing us from editting the boot image for Marshmallow Concept hence leaving us with the only option to unlock out bootloader?
Lastly: Is there a potential to convert Stock Sony ROM into an AOSP looking/feeling rom?

tobias.waldvogel's method is the easiest way to achieve it imo. His guide covers it all from A to Z (How to back up your DRM keys, unlock the bootloader, patch the stock kernel and flash it back on your device, get a working TWRP Recovery, root Android with SuperSU, re-apply the DRM keys to restore functionalities, etc.)
Follow the steps and you'll get it to work. You won't need anything else, everything you need to have/know (files, tools, etc.) can be found in the first post of that thread
