I recently acquired a Xperia X8 and tried to install a CFW, but i have some issues
So far, as i understood, i'm on android 2.1 root, using xrecovery, my baseband is 015, build 2.1.1.A.0.16, the cell is the international version ( not the american one ).
I tried to install FroyoBread v023b and i also tried the GingerDX v017, following closely the guides, and no matter what i try, i end up always stucked at the logo ( either froyobread or i don't remember what is written on the second one ). My x8 simply freeze at these logos, and i finally go again to the xrecovery menu, restoring my backup and am still on 2.1 root.
If anyone have an idea of where i did wrong and how to make me install finally one of these roms, it'd be really nice =)

hy my friend.i have also xperia x8 and after i lnstalled xrecovery,i installed cyanogen mode 7 and everything were ok.....try to install this first and then install gigner dx....i hope this helps u!!!!

I tried to install the GingerDX v017, I install rom manager and when I try to install CWM there is not X8 on phone list.
I sucesfully install Fdxperience with xrecovery and restore to 2.1...
Help me with Rom manager, CWM and GingerDX v017please!

Well, i tried to redownload the rom and install it in case i could have a problem with the file i downloaded ( i doubted of it but who knows u_u ), same problem. i still am freezing at the froyobread logo

I tried just now with another rom, installed using the recovery system, and weirdly, its the same, i freeze at the logo Hackdroid this time...
If I install GingerDX v13 with xrecovery, is it possible to upgrade it to v17 without CWM?

ok i found out the problem... it was the µSD that was causing issues... i removed it, i booted... then i partitionned it a second time ( maybe the ext 2 part was a bit too big and made crash the FW first launch, who knows )

I just rooted my phone (GT-S5830)and by mistake removed Samsung Home app.... Now the phone won't boot. Can anyone suggest a solution?
Where can i get the stock rom if that solves the problem. No rom recovery software is installed on my phone.

I need your help. Recently I have flashed DN3 4RC on my N7100. Everything is working fine but I have one question. I want to go back to official 4.3 firmware. Can you please guide me how I can do it. My Binary Counter has also been increased to 10. I tried triangle away almost all the version but nothing happens to reset the counter.
Please help me developers

Before you perform any changes PLS get informed about how to BACKUP your EFS. Friend of mine lost is while changing roms and there is no good chance to restore it without a valid backup.
May be some owner of the same device know how to get back to stock best.

anyone can help me in my note n8020 after several flash my touch response nothing. the s pen is working perfectly but the touch is dead.
history:
my note is in JB rom v2 rom and update it to latest firmware of kitkat N8020XXUDNE4 via odin >> it was successfull
i try to upgrade it in reflection kitkat first i flash latest philz cwm v6 >success
upgrade in reflection > success, but that rom has a bug it seems to have no signal in sim. so i flash it back to official which is N8020XXUDNE4 again, and it was success and then after reboot my note is not responding in touch but on S pen it is.
i hope anyone master here can help me in my problem. or do i need to go to hardware check up. please help me

hey! i install CM with cm installer all good . But now i want to go back to stock touchwiz. I tryed http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...ck-updates-t1710613/post27407556#post27407556 but at step 5 reset the binary counter , i install triangle away but is not working! triangle aways pop-up this that didint aper in video Please note some decives keep resetting the counter to 1 as long as you are not running both a stock kernel and stock recovery. - It has been detected that you are not runing superSU. Please note that running a different root management app then SuperSU on various devices is known to lead to failedresets.boot loops,and softbricks. - i press next any way and dosent work .Can some on help me pls!!!what should i do? i have a GT-I9300 INT
