Same here on a GNex Maguro on AOSPAL (4.2.2), also does anyone know how to change the language of the keyboard? I selected additional languages, downloaded the dictionaries, but no idea how to switch...

there is tick mark option after you download it and when using the keyboard you will see a switch language button

I have the tick marks enabled (you mean for the languages right?) but still no icon to switch languages (I don't speak Javanese, was just to test )

it not my mod actually I found it on another android forum.
As there is already other thread,but i found that hard and was not working for me..so i decided to do this..
it works like charm!!
Have not tested on GB..
Testers can test it on GB and REPORT !!
So here is what u have to do :
1: Get Root ( if you have it then skip this)
2: Get a Rootbrowser https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...93c2VyZnJlZSJd
3: Go to /System
4: Open Build.prop (make a backup from it just in case)
5: Add at the end: qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
6: Save and reboot

This mod is compatible with the theme engine.
Meaning: the buttons will change colours depending on the theme. Also it depens ,If the developer didnt themed the buttons the buttons wont change colour

No..this code only add the onscreen buttons!!

Same here..i installed the apk..whenever i try to hit any key, it just freezes. Even when you try to delete anything by using backspace key, it just freezes.shell is granted superuser access and it gets stuck..anyone tried flashing via cwm ?

If the apk doesn't work, you're running a phone that is either A.) running stock Android (as in, AOSP), or B.) running software that has the stock Android keyboard as an option, you'll need to download this ZIP file, and flash it in recovery

The apk installs and works beautifully but only as long as u keep sliding fingers.freezes only if you press single key and backspace.still will flash it via cwm and give the review btw i m in bbrom(hope it doesn't make any difference)

If you are rooted, just use any of the root explorers and delete /system/app/AxT9IME.apk. That is the Samsung Stock KB. Remember to take a backup first!

ON what? There are no open source drivers or libs for some of the hardware. Samsung doesn't even make or own some of the source for some chips.
And yes I am confident Samsung will release a JB stock ROM , why are you skeptical? They appear to be right on schedule with most of their devices. I expect a version of JB on SamMobile for our device in early Feb.

reboot phone in recovery
clear cache partition
reinstall the app by putting apk in /system/app and give proper permissions

It has a very nice new touch and seems to work just fine on my SGS4.

* You need to be rooted & have a custom recovery installed.

* Link "menu" button to launcher settings.
* Add releated Xperia Z widgets and wallpapers as optional/separate flashable zips!
Bugs:
* If HD Widgets doesn't load, just kill the launcher or/and restart phone.
* No more known bugs & overall stable and smooth, just like the drinks I mixed last weekend!

Possible yes, but I'm not to fix that There is mods avaliable that edits the statusbar. Minit framework and possible others.

Apk needs to be installed as a system app to work for now. Why are you even on XDA in the theme threads if you are NOT rooted?

No it does not. clock widget is a paid Play Store app called HD Widgets + the addon Colourform!

Lol, true - unfortunately not being rooted allows me to use online banking without hasstle.

Hmm, not sure if its the same version... its from xperia z and works ok, wasn't too impressed so got rid of it lol (doubt it had the same edits that you put in it)
