it not my mod actually I found it on another android forum.
As there is already other thread,but i found that hard and was not working for me..so i decided to do this..
it works like charm!!
Have not tested on GB..
Testers can test it on GB and REPORT !!
So here is what u have to do :
1: Get Root ( if you have it then skip this)
2: Get a Rootbrowser https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...93c2VyZnJlZSJd
3: Go to /System
4: Open Build.prop (make a backup from it just in case)
5: Add at the end: qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
6: Save and reboot

This mod is compatible with the theme engine.
Meaning: the buttons will change colours depending on the theme. Also it depens ,If the developer didnt themed the buttons the buttons wont change colour

No..this code only add the onscreen buttons!!
not like AOKP that u can change them !!

Obviously it won't work on GB. Onscreen buttons were introduced to the OS in Honeycomb/+

The widget used is "Beautiful Widget" and the skin is Vos-Flat White !!

Hey @Nemed, you can customise these buttons by going into settings.system.navigation Bar !!! Enjoy......I have already sutomised buttons............

I will work this later. I got stuck with patch9 pngs so this is the terrrible look on the upper part of dialer, the tabs.
I will try to fix it, but I am working on another project at the moment.

yes, i am aware of thsi bug.. this happens only when the battery is 100% .. it will be okay after 99%..

I am using the deodexed version, But there is some problem with Wi-Fi. So, I am looking for a fix. As soon as the bug is fixed, I ll release the deodexed version.
Since Eaglerazor is building custom ROM, he can include this MOD in his ROM if WI-Fi is working.
Does it support Samsung's music control? (I don't think that.)

I am back to stock ODEXED now.
It should support because the AOSP lockscreen files are already present in android.policy.jar, samsung disbaled it.
I just edited small code in Lockpatternkeyguardview.smali according to this guide : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1689376
EDIT : yes, you are right. lockscreen does not support music controls..

I can't change the background of the aosp lock screen. Moreover, there is an option in Screen menu to enable disable the aosp lockscreen without effect.

Guys, is it possible to remove notification bar from lockscreen. Very often it is inadvertantly used in my pants and different toggles are switched.
Everybody knows the CM9/10 ROMs are smooth and Awesome. But what they lack is a TaskManager. This need was fulfilled by the RemICS ROMs which got TouchWiz TaskManager to CM9 and now CM10. But only thing I hated was that the TaskManager force closed when the options key was pressed. After few months I thought that must have been rectified, but I tried the TaskManager from RemICS 1.6, the problem was still there. (Nothing against the RemICS team, the ROM is AWESOME)
So I took it in my own hands to fix the problem... And I DID...!!!

I've attached the TaskManager.apk. All you have to do is place it in /system/app/ with permissions rw-r-r and reboot.
Note: I've tried many times to install it as normal app but it never works.

*EDIT: Thank You erpurohit for the flashable zip.
Now you can just flash the zip from the recovery. Since it's a universal flasher, a backup flashable zip will be automatically created to revert back if needed.

Actually I don't have any idea of Kernel or ROM development. I'm slowly understanding smali modding. I was already well versed in layouts xml and all. So I can do all this, but what dhiru is doing is way above.

No... For our device the system apps were there. For you it should be /system/apps/

And its not running cm9/10

i use holo launcher hd and with it i can assign home key to launch task manager.
not really sure about other launcher.

As far as I know team remics is now busying in porting the S3 notification area( Super cool!! ) . I believe they may move to lock screen porting after v3.1 has been released.

Plz say that when we pull down the notification bar the power widgets will move as in S3....

I am not sure as they said notification area. Probably the moving toggles will be included too.
Chinmay should be having a better idea about this than me.

Wow. Its nice. Works like a charm in cm10 . In the next version can u include a new pattern except the jelly bean dots.
