Xoom2 won't turn on - Xoom Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So my xoom 2 won't turn on at all, this is australian bought xoom, the 3g and wifi version (I don't think its the superlocked aussie version though)
so I forgot to charge it , since I never actually use it after coming back from Oz. Today I actualyl tried to charge it again ( i didn't get motorola charger with it ) . It is now showing a white LED on the bottom , however after couple hour the LED will stop showing , and when I tried turning it on , it won't turn on
Can I fix this? Is it Irrevocably broken (which is saying something considering my galaxy tab one that I abbandon for 4 years is still up and running)
thanks beforehand

HTC Touch pro 2 CDMA Intermittent Charge / Not Turning on

Hi Guys, ive looked through the forum and have not found anything like this.
First of all I have not flashed the wrong hard-spl or gsm rom or a rom for a different model.
I am using Energy.RHODCDMA.29022.Sense2.5.Cookie.2.0.DinikGlass.Jul.04, stock Radio (verizon - sim unlocked on the o2 network). A little background info I brought the phone from a US ebay merchant awhile ago it was working fine except the slider rebooting the phone but rarely happens.
Awhile ago some moisture go into the phone, it would turn on but the screen just wouldnot turn on, the htc boot sound will sound but thats it.. so i left it for a few days without the battery in it which fixed the problem.
Okay to the crux of it, yesterday the battery went dead as normal i put it on charge for awhile, turned it on to make a important call whilst on charge but the phone just turned off so did the orange light. Now sometimes it charges for a period then it stops and cycles constantly. Whats worse is that holding the power button doesnot even turn the darn thing on *.* I've tried to batteries (oem and replacement neither charge on my laptop or thru the charger). Tried to load into the bootloader even holding the power key for awhile does not work
As it does not turn on I cant get into the bootloader... to dump the rom any ideas?
Your battery is dead. Replace with new one and everything will work fine..!

[Q] Moto G does not charge - tried a lot of things

People, in May last year bought two Moto G being one for me and one for my wife.
A week ago the one of them failed to load. I exchanged the charger, tried several wire positions, we tried to carry with PC USB cable and nothing.
Yesterday, after seeing some videos on the internet, I was trying some possible solutions...
1 - Charge for 1 min with the official charger then hold the on/off button for 2 minutes and then leave hours charging... it did not work out.
2 - Remove the Battery flat cable and put it back... it did not work out.
3 - I changed the batteries between the two devices... then yes, it worked, but her phone (the one with probem) still does not charge the battery... and her battery worked perfectly on my phone...
I believe the device may have some bad contact problem or something like that.
My doubts:
- Is there anything else I can try to do before taking it to assistance?
- If I take the unit for service, it will take too long to solve the problem? (I ask this cuz we'll travel in 1 week and we'll need the device)
- This will cost me a lot of $$$$$$$?
Thanks!
This is basically what happened to me (Link). I figured out that my moto is completely dead, this last time with no chance of turning it on. When I hook it up to A/C (for hours) nothing happens, battery doesn't even become warmish. When on USB on my laptop the screen flicks on every 20-30 minutes (black but lit-up), on some occasion when I press the power button it displays the battery symbol with 0%, then goes off again.
As I wrote in my post, I found 2 German threads on this, nobody found a solution though. Keep in mind, I have the moto g LTE (XT1039), but I guess this is happening to some moto gs regardless if 3G or LTE.

Phone seems to be hard-bricked

Good day guys.
[EDIT] : The phone turned on now, it was just completely deprived of battery power ( I'm unsure how to delete this so I'm hoping a mod will see this and remove it as its a "false alert" )
I recently smashed my note 4 ( the seat of the car completely broke it in half, long story ), so I got a tablet that was laying around as a backup, A Samsung Tab 2 ( p3100 ), it was loaded with bloatware from my carrier so I decided to flash cyanogenmod 13 onto it... all went well and soon I booted into the new OS.
I installed the applications I needed from the play store no problem, everything seemed fine, I talked to some of my friends using the phone with absolutely no problems...
That's when I noticed it was getting low on power ( 2% ) , so I told them that I'm going to put it on charge and go to sleep ( this was well over 2 hours post-flash ) , as I reached for the charging cable, the phone showed me a blue face ( cyanogen's logo )
I proceeded to plug in the phone to charge ( thinking it was just turning off ) , but the blue guy stayed on for about another 1 minute, then the screen turned pitch-black.
( at which point the phone refused to turn on at all, no matter how long i press the power button )
I'm hoping I'm wrong, but it seemed to have hard-bricked, but seeing as the phone booted into the OS no problems etc. I'm hopeful...
Does anyone have any insights as to what's going on? can a phone brick even after extended use of the custom OS??
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks.

Frozen One A9

Hi,
i tried to encrpyt my rooted One A9 yesterday. It started the encryption as it is supposed to (Battery charged to 89%, charger still plugged).
But about 2 minutes later the screen just turned black.
Now the phone can't be turned on, no matter which button i press.
It is also not recognized by my pc when i plug it in.
Also the orange charging LED is constantly lit although it isn't plugged to any charger.
As i can't seem to find anything about this issue on google or here in the forums, i hope someone can help.
Or can i simply throw it away now?
Specs:
European HTC One A9 (no branding)
Unlocked Bootloader (TWRP Recovery)
Rooted (SuperSU)
Stock HTC Rom (can't recall the version, should be latest european)
Thanks in advance
Solution... Kind of...
Ok, since i got impatient i opened the phone and removed the battery to turn it off completely.
It seems to work again now, although i got no way to make sure because my screen broke in the process of opening it :crying:
But i can hear the bootsounds and my smartwatch connects when its on.
Anyways, for people having this problem in the future, it should help to just let the device run out of battery (which should take ages, since its off and only the led is on).
Thank God a new screen costs almost the same as a new device...

phone won't charge !! (only with samsung s7 charger when he is turned off) crazy !!!

so... I encountered this crazy problem that I never seen in any other phone and I had a lot
I've got this one plus 1 (stock operating system, unrooted and locked) and he wont charge at all (when he off or on), my charger and cable are original and they do charge other one plus one (I've got 2 of them).
he wont charge with other chargers and cables.... except Samsung s7 charger when the phone turned off.
I've tried resetting the phone and it didn't help, I cant unlock and flash because the computer don't recognize it (even in fastboot mode).
I even took it a part and tested the battery... it seems ok.
I've run out of ideas :silly::silly::silly:
so if any one of u encountered this problem or have an idea ill love 2 here it
tnx
