[Q] Problem with Google Play / Google Play Games

A couple of days ago I phoned Google Play Support to report that several apps were missing from My Apps tab in Google Play (web and app). What they suggested was that I should download the apps again and then they would be showing in the respective tab.
I tried what they suggested but it simply couldn't be performed (Google Play simply doesn't allow it).
Then I sent the following e-mail to them:
I tried downloading again the apps that are no longer showing in My Apps tab and looks like the problem is still there.
My Google Play app version (at least on my smartphone) is 4.3.11 and I'm running AndroidOS 4.3.
I have 4 groups of apps:
1 - Free apps downloaded from Google Play;
2 - Apps purchased from Google Play;
3 - Free apps downloaded from other services (Amazon, etc.);
4 - Apps purchased from other services (Amazon, etc.).
I have 2 devices connected to my google account ([email protected]): a smartphone (Samsung Galaxy S III) and a tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1).
These 4 groups can still be divided into 2 groups each: apps that are and that aren't installed in my devices at the moment. So that would total 8 groups.
I tried the solution you suggested earlier: downloading the apps again.
However, I am facing the following problem: at least for apps from groups 1 and 2, that are still installed in my devices, Google play won't let me download them again (neither from the site nor from the app) because looks like they're already installed in my device(s). For instance, the app "Plague Inc.". I installed it a few days ago. Then I bought the in-app ad-free key. It's installed only on my tablet. If I try to install it again from the app in the device, it simply won't let me because it's already installed in it. If I try to install it again from the Google Play site the device will be greyed out (not available) because the app is already installed in the device.
This happens for all apps in groups 1 and 2 that are still installed in the devices.
Looks like the solution would be to uninstall and re-install it. However, I don't want to run the risk of losing all my data (progress).
Because the apps don't show in My Apps tab of the Google Play (app or site) a consequence (for the games only) is that they don't show in the Google Play Games app.
This is my main concern: the games. The Google Play Games app, intended to the a hub for android games, can't show the games I own (installed or not) because they are no longer in my Google Play history (My Apps tab). And, as a consequence, the data (progress, achievements, multiplayer gaming possibility, etc.) won't be available for me.
This is my first problem.
A second problem is: how does Google Play and Google Play Games handle the apps (especially games) from groups 3 and 4? They're not showing too.
This is really upsetting me.
How can we sort it out?
Thank you for listening to me and thank you in advance.
Well, friends, I guess you're my last resort. I've tried Google Play Support Team and their suggestion was to uninstall all my apps and then install them again.
I really don't think this is very intelligent... Do you have any suggestions?
Bump
Any suggestions?

Incorrect G-apps, ADM, Android Pay with Play services bubbling

Hello the XDA colleagues. I am here to lead a conversation about the G-apps. Are guys facing a same problem — Play services is bubbling to you that you are annoyed?
Yes, the MOST online solutions are helpless to me — only FULL permissions for Play services (Play services, apps w SHOWN system apps, settings) itself and ADM, Android Pay activated (Device administrations, security, settings; Android Pay is shown in ROM toolbox by J-rummy) are helpful, but just VERY OFTEN.
This bubbling is also led to errors that you are prevented before downloading and updating apps on Play store, w/in ‘A’, Open, Benzo G-apps. Besides I can properly use Play store only w/in Slim ‘mini’ G-apps. (stechguide.com/download-gapps-for-cm13/)

yalpstore( bypass bloated Google play) questions

I just found yalpstore on fdroid.
This is from their github
What does it do?
Yalp Store lets you download apps from Google Play Store as apk files. It searches for updates of installed apps when it starts and lets you search for other apps. Thats it. Yalp saves downloaded apks to your default download folder so you can later open it in your favorite file manager app and tap each one to install the apps.
Why would I use it?
If you are content with Google Play Store app, you will not need this app.
The point of Yalp Store is to be small and independent from Google Services Framework. As time passed, Google Services Framework and Google Play Store apps grew in size, which made them almost too big for old phones (Nexus One has 150Mb memory available for apps, half of it would be taken by Google apps). Another reason to use Yalp Store is if you frequently flash experimental ROMs. This often breaks gapps and even prevents their reinstallation. In this situation Yalp will still work.
How does it work?
Yalp Store uses the same (protobuf) API the android Play Store app uses. You are going to need a google account to use it. Please, keep in mind that technically Yalp Store violates Android Market Terms of Service (§3.3). In theory, you might get your account disabled by using Yalp Store. Thats why you might want to register a separate gmail account and use it at least once to log in to the Play Store android app on any device.
In practice, though, software like Yalp, Google Play Crawler and Raccoon has been used for years and it seems to be safe.
Yalp Store is derived from the following projects:
https://github.com/Akdeniz/google-play-crawler
https://github.com/onyxbits/Raccoon
Has anyone any experience with this app?
I usually strip Google play from ask my devices except one that I use to get apps I need.
This might be a way to dump Google from that device also.
But I'm not a programmer so I can't audit the code for issues
(Our much more than use netstat to check what apps connect where)
So the more info out there the better

How To Guide [Alternative Solution] App won't run without google play services [CN ROM]

With the latest app updates, some G-app (like Duo, Keep, …etc) got this message “App won't run without google play services, which are missing from your devices … INSTALL”, even though "Google Play Services" is installed with the latest version. Sometimes games are stuck at the loading screen like “ActionTaima..” because the game can't access Google Services correctly. The workaround solution was to find & revert back to the proper/previous version & Uninstall/re-install them, whenever G-store updates them automatically. It's kinda annoying
After research, trailer & error, I found that updating “Google Services Framework”, does solve this issue. I presume, latest G-app deals with “Android 11+”, therefore, Google Services Framework must be updated in order to match with it.
1) Download Google Services Framework 11-6684105
2) Install & enable Autostart & Reboot your system.
I'm glad to hear any other methods or solutions
I'm not sure if this will help, I recall getting the same problem on my emulators some time back, and was able to resolve it by downloading Google Play Games, and in doing so, that forced the Play Services to update. Maybe it will help?

For android emulator on PC, I believe it should be just fine. If got any issues , just enabling root feature, & try to manipulation with system on emulator or add 3rd party app to modify. FYI, I was using MEmu on PC.

As far as I know, google play services is updatable and google MAP can be used normally.
However, accessing location/map with 3rd app party (such as WhatsApp ...etc ) has multiple scenarios;;
- View "received map" from other == Perfectly Working !!
- Locate your current location == Working ( but a black screen, just point GPS and send ) !!
- Navigate the map to select different location == Not working (Just black screen)
I suggest you open a new thread, so people can hopefully share & react to the issue.
my google services is updated to latest version. still encountering the play services error. google keep and google pay keeps looking for google play services. even mcdonalds app is looking for it.
