Dude, first understand that the procedure to cook a ROM is same for all mobile brands having android (maybe except HTC)....what matters, is the processor and RAM of the phone....You can take any custom or stock ROM of the phone having same specs as a base and modify it to cook your ROM.....in short, mobile brand name doesn't matter....
1st link contains tutorial about using android kitchen and other tools to cook a ROM.....the heading clearly says "[UltimateGUIDE][How-to]Create your Own Custom ROM an easy way|Android Secrets -_-"
There is no brand name written, like samsung or sony even in the tutorial.....AND XR650 ROM is cooked by using this same guide.....you can check the thread 1st page to confirm....
sorry, i posted same link for 2nd & 3rd by mistake......that link contains LIST of various tutorials like flashing a rom, porting other roms (like PA, CM, SENSE, etc).....it also contains tutorials on compiling, decompiling, modifying APKs, boot animations, and LOT MORE.....
And here is 3rd link......this also contains LIST of various tutorials.....
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1721539
please check all these 3 links once again.....
Thanks friend

i have spice mi310 device also known as CSL mi320. I want to backup my current ROM as well as install new ones. I have tried ROM Manager but it doesn't support my device when trying to flash ClockWorkMod.
Is there a way I can get a recovery image of my device or if I can make my own?
Thanks in advance
I'm also looking for a way to install ClockWorkMod on this model. Can anyone of the developers here help please?
actually this device has been developed by indonesians in this forum:
www.kaskus.us/showthread.php?t=8021985
i think we need to have our own section here at the XDA-Dev. one of the developers did port CM7 to the Spice Mi310. we need to discuss this project all together here.
anyone with me?

Thanks for the link. For you who don't speak indonesian, you know what to do with google translate
I'm in as well. I've also successfully ported ClockworkMod for this device (I'll upload it for people who want it) and CM7 as well but Bluetooth and sensors don't work as of now :/
I've uploaded the ClockworkMod recovery and instructions to flash them here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=15473016

Hi there
I'm working on a tool that let you change your ROM in about 2 minutes (even less, depending on the kernel that you have) without going into the recovery mode and WITHOUT LOSE YOUR DATA!!
That was the idea behind RomChanger.
RoMixer is different: it let you change a bit of your rom with the part taken from another one (ie. I have the Dronix[I'm talking of the Ideos U8150] rom installed on my devices, but i LOVE the FUSIONideos' framework, this tool let me install the FUSION's framework on the Dronix ROM )
The developing state is in Italian, and can be found here http://www.myppc.it/web/community/viewtopic.php?f=126&t=6490
Now I need your help...i need you to tell me what rom do you want to be available in this tool. Follow this pattern to do that:
My Smartphone:
ROM that I want available:
Topic of the ROM:
If you have a phone that doesn't use Clockwork MOD Recovery to flash a new ROM, I need you to do this:
1. Run this script with your phone connected to the PC and with the USB DEBUG ON
2. Upload the Pull folder that is been created in C:\
3. Link this folder to me
Thank you guys! I will appreciate your cooperation because I think this is a GREAT tool

Topic means the topic on the xda forum where the rom is presented. I need that because I have to write the maker of the Custom Rom.
And could you write the link for download the rom? Thank you ^^
I'm very sorry for my english, I study english only at school and I'm an 17years-old Italian guy

The script available is NOT the RomChanger or the RoMixer...
They are still in developing state
That script get the files that I need from that doen't need ClockworkMOD for flashing (i.e. they need odin and so on).
I'm facing some problems with the script and the real life...I don't have so much time to dedicate to the developing, both because of my life and because of the school (It is maybe time to study )
This is awesome developing.

I also have lewa but it's on my Ubuntu drive and also not tested and thanks but is everything working or there are some little bugs (i could help to debug)
I majorly wanted to do work on Lg rom then lewa but the misfortune is that my computer is working very slow (Pentium D 805, Gigabyte GA G41M-Combo, 250 watt generic power supply, etc.) as it is an obsolete computer and i am very bored to do work and want to upgrade to the upcoming AMD's Kaveri APU as i want to play games and do some work
Till then I am staying quiet silent and still
last but could give me all the info about what you used and what were the major issues
CRONOS has been stopped or postponed as i am now less interested.

I knew nothing about android a year ago. after I bought my canvas 2. I googled how to install apks, how to get paidd apks for frree etc. then I searched how to modify my android phone. I learnt how to root, take backup, install recovery, flash ROM, about xposed framework etc. it will take some time to understand the terms. then it will be as easy as abc for you.
type your queries in the search box of xda and you will get related threads. also use xda wiki site. click thanks if you understood
