2.use root explorer already installed on the device,and install the universalandroot
3.and then simply click root and.... bingo u are done with it ..
the phone has no force closes due to this and u can anytime unroot the device using universalandroot...so dont worry about it

Battery Life

to increase the battery life do the following
1.download set cpu
-either buy it from market or get it from other source(google it people)
2.root the phone if you haven't done it already
3.start set cpu and goto profiles tab
4.select enable profiles
5.click on add profile
a)click charging ac/full-600 max and 600 min
b)charging usb/full -600 max and 600 min
c)charging /full-480 max and 480 min
d)temp>50C-480 max and 122 min
e)screen off-122 max and 122 min
f)battery <31% -245 max and 122 min
6.Word of advice is to -a)turn off auto sync
b)use only a single home replacement app,f you are using multiple like launcher pro ,adw with the
default launcher,then use home manager(free from market)and then kill the other
running home launchers
c)and also use a very light on resources home screen setup,like the one that i use(the launcher is
launcher pro)(the screenshots in the attachment)

STEPS
1.Download the file from here-Download Links2sd
2.Install the app
3.Download the partitioning tool from here-Minitool Partitioning Wizard
4.Install the above software on your computer
5.Now connect the phone via usb to your computer and mount it
6.Start the partition wizard application on your computer
7.Select the mounted drive
8.Right click on the device and select resize
9.Resize your sd card to a suitable limit and leave some unallocated free space
10.Now select that unallocated space and right click and selct modify
11.Now select the format option of ext3 from the drop down list
12.Now come to the home window of the software and on the bottom left side you have an option called apply the pending changes,select that.
13.After the changes have been applied exit the application and then dismount the drive
14.Power off the phone and then remove the sd card once and then reinsert it again and restart he phone
15.Once you are done with that,start the application link2sd and then you are ready to go....link the application you see to you allocated ext2 partition
~CAUTION!!!!~
1.do not link any system app
2.don't link widgets and home launchers like launcher pro or adw
3.and don't link any antivirus app...

After rooting your phone, which custom ROM you are using on it ? are there any 2.2 ROM available for this device ?

...right now....no...but i am surely trying hard to compile android 2.2 (either cyanogen 6.1) or the gingerbread (AOSP) ....will take another month or too....as i am a student and my exams are on....so just wait and watch....
i will also be trying for the clockwork recovery mod on this....but that will take some more time......

could you please post a tutorial showing how you flashed the custom rom after you do that?? I am planning to buy A60 but I am confused between A60 and galaxy 5..
What do yo suggest?? How is the battery backup of A60? backup while playing music? Thanks

Power back of A60 is really not good. Thats why I want to flash 2.2 foryo on it.I've heard on most of the forums out there, but its not easy to find one.
Can anyone out here know if Andro A60 aka (ZTE Penguin) has any 2.2 ROMs available.

not as of now........
but my power backup is quite good...even on active 2g....the battery life is surprisingly good........use a good task killer and disable some services ...the thing will run good...(AS we know Power control hail!!!)

Hello guys i recently bought the Micromax A60 Its camera sucks , the audio play back is worse Bat backup - oooh don't ask anything abt it does'nt last more than 12 Hrs, not a wise mobile to choose after all

Yea Camera is not good , but music is alright ,
but this phone is not at all for Camera and music , If u want to have hands on android then this phone is best for its price ,
anyways if u guys got any development regarding custom roms please let me know.

rooting does not mean that you can install a custom ROM, you need a recovery to do that ...and to make a recovery you need information about the partitions on the phone and there sizes and a lot of other details.

Hi guys,
I have trouble installing the usb driver for my Andriod A60 from the disc that it comes with. I keep getting the error about something to do with the windows logo with 2 options "STOP installation" and "Continue Anyway". No matter what option I chose I get the message saying there was a problem during the installation and your hardware might not work.
Since you guys know a lot about this technical stuff, I figured I ask you guys. any inputs???

Get galaxy 5! Why? A60 has a resisitive screen, really low res screen, small screen, poor processor along with some other stuff. This means that MOST of the apps won't be supported or will lag on it, games will be more of a pain than fun and also I'm not sure about the Micromax Service. Plus, I don't think if it'll ever be updated to 2.2 and further. If you want android for name sake, get A60 but if you want a usable android phone, get Galaxy5!

guy's can any one come up with the idea of cooking windows 6.5 for micromax android A60... Micromax has a good processor rom & ram...so is it possible to install windows rom ???

You can use SuperOneClick,it worked for me...

i have the same fone Micromax A60, used the same app and i guess its rooted now.

After rooting
I tried the ShootMe App which requires the root access. I shook the fone, got the click sound of screen captured and when i went to root explorer to see that screenshot, it was horrible a png...something i never expected totally crashed pic.

well why you want to install that driver?
if you just want to do USB file transfer, then there is no need of doing that. Just connect your mobile with pc and drag down the status bar in the home screen to the down and click USB connected and then mount. That's it

It's just rebranded DG550 and it's better than original rom by Doogee (causes battery draining) and they also fix time from internet and other stuff...

Files u provided are way not enough for a "simple" build
Currently i'm running this Phone at stock kernel with DarkL privat port. It gives me up to 5days battery on moderated use. So the stock dg550 Kernel is fine already, at least on the battery side ofc
However in my opinion there is no reason why somebody would donate a developer this phone. It cost around 135€. People would have more benefits if they just buy a new, cheaper and more powerful phone while dumping this one.
If u like a good Rom, u can still try port cm12.1 from mt6592 plattform. We might just miss steps in ramdisk

I've contacted Doogee on some e-mails so be in touch. They post on FB post about developing roms for their phones. Does anybody know if they truly pick someone from XDA or 4pda?
Could some one please compile TWRP 2.8.7 or 2.8.6 for DG550? I tried but no success only boot loop

They dont share source. U can use stock Kernel and build cm around. Like few guys here.

Well it ain't boot(didnt pass vendor bootloader logo) on our Devices Doogee DG550. More than me already tried
Port from mt6582 to mt6592 works fine on first run

Yeah, it doesn't work at all. It was working on previous updates. They changed /data to 3GB that could be the problem, isn't it? I was working on flashable rom but it didn't boot. Even I use files from backup in TWRP, it must be problem with META-INF files.
Yeah other recoveries may work, but TWRP is best now like CWM few years ago. I can't even port 2.8.1 with that MTK tool on the newest rom from Blackview.
Also do you know about more complex tool for root checker? I have still problem I was using Super Su 2.46 but can't install busybox, so I used KingoUser and it was working but sometimes it stop working and I have to update Su binaries manually. BTW I don't like KingoUser, the Super Su is much better but doesn't work as it should on this rom. On my P4 5.1.1 working just fine.

ahh......seems like storage ,surfaceflinger issue .................may be extras too.........if u able to take logcat.....it help me lot to tell u exactly what's happening

untouched ramdisk hang on vendor logo nothing happens, if i edit mail node in ueventd.rc(Line 152, thx to @chanaka89 ) the device reboots after a while. Never pass logo

2) i also searched for Porting MIUI8 to Qualcom devices.. ( worth mentioning that i once ported unsuccessful MIUI rom to MTK device)
i flashed MIUI 8 in my frnd's HonorHolly - it looked amazing , i desperately wished to make it work on my MotoG3 (2-16gb xt1550)
please share your valuable knowledge of making an BOOTABLE and Stable MIUI 8 rom for our MotoG3
my doubts are as follows:
1) No onScreen Nav keys on any MIUI - how can we insert them ?? even though if we insert do they look awkward? or they'll be same as ours?
2) is it easy or Tuff job to make this MIUI8 ?? how much work do we need to do ??
3) is there any stepby step process for noobs like me to make this work done ??

but where should i start? any process?? i really havent got knowledge from where to start !! but i know there isnt going to be CODING :silly: but just copule of copy pastes..and running exes'

Search xda for guides like how to build a rom. If u r porting chances are it will not work. U cant just download another device rom and start porting to our device. U need to have linux knowledge for building

You cannot build miui from source because source of miui is not open.While Miui use patchrom technology which is very similar to patching UI part over existing stock/CM framework.It is available upto kitkat but lollipop version is not available yet so we have to port miui from similar devices.Currently the most suitable candidate is Lenovo A6000+ or Redmi 2s Prime but i doubt the build will have ril or wifi working or even boot. it tried it many times no success yet and no senior developer is interested or have capability (due to closed source and unusal structure of miui) in developing any other Flavor Rom other than Cyanogenmod or stock based like flyme,MIUI,Lewa,Funtouch etc so we are helpless only some miracle will make MIUI Boot to our Device.

Unfortunately I have tried to port kitkat to this device and it needs an updated recovery if it has any chance of working. Thanks for the support though!!
I did have a change of plans though. I will port Cyanogenmod 10 and continue the project with that rom.

Trwp working version is not enought?
Cyanogenmod 10 (Android 4.1.2 ) is no good for me... I need the 4.4.4 or higher ;-(

its 4.2.2. And if you want 4.4.4 so bad, either get someone to port twrp latest or do it your self, I dont know how

Unfortunately I can't complete the material tomorrow with modified all files until ApkTool fixes all of its bugs because I can not edit any all files. I have tried multiple and when I rebuilt them, they didn't work.

dude. don't you wanna read abt what others hv done instead o starting a new tread ?
at least 6.01 already avail t110 t113 t2xx, if those treads are already deleted then ask the developer to resend n refresh them. good luck

I don't believe these threads exist otherwise my months of searching for roms for my tablet were a waste of time. Maybe for the t2xx but not t1xx. Or you could send the link to them

Bro, ROM is boot loop errer.how to solve Lenovo Vibe p1m

I had updated to but after restart touch is not working in my p1m. Let me know the fix. the screen shows dropdown for language and arrow below it.

Touch is not working
I flashed the rom with proper caution step by step. After successfully installed voLTE flag showed up in Jio Number. But the issue is touch is not working hence phone stucked at phone set up stage. I called that Jio Number from another phone it was ringing but I can’t accept the call due to non functioning touch. I send a text massage which was received and showed on screen too. I back to recovery touch is working again there so I reset the phone and reboot again to system. Touch was not working again. Then I go to recovery again wipe cache and dalvik and flash the rom again after rebooting touchscreen did not responding. Then I flash back to stock rom the touch issue was resolved. Again I rooted the phone, install twrp and wipe data and flash the Volte rom again. Again all is working except Touch.
Sandeep or any other experts, plz help me to fix the issue.

I have been using u r ROM 10 day.my mobile is always in charging only till I did not get 100% charge. plz kelp me to get quick charge in u r ROM and the battery saver key lenovo vibe p1m is also not workin. So plzz help me bro and thank you for giving volte support in my phone. Thank you a lot

its not problem with the rom problem with touch screen flash another rom and check

There are bugs like storage read write , charging issue, system launcher crash, Google service stopped working notification and over all VoLTE issue. By inserting/patching a VoLTE logo in the device doesn't make this or other VoLTE Logo ROM a VoLTE enabled device. The ROM should add all the volte features e.i call conference, video call etc.
Vibe P1M users are attracted to such ROM only to get volte so do not mislead your rom users with a false promise that "Everything works".
Fix all the above issues to make it a good and workable rom.

Its not any false promise and did you give me something for this i have done it on my own hardwork and there is bugs which i also knew later charging bug is due to kernel and try on your own risk ok if you dont like the rom just leave it and first learn to appericiate works of others then do anything your using a device with 1ghz specification and which doesnot support volte at all its stock not even cross lollipop but hardwork of developers take this to nougat and till volte so learn to be polite first i am not forcing anyone to use it as daily driver it is request from people that they want volte so volte is there you are assuming that you will get all feature of smartphone with higher range then go and buy new device and sorry for my language

yes because you got newer model of p1m that have different driver with old one and it caan be bypass by connecting charger

I think that it is related to my kernel version which is 3.10.* vs 3.18.* on the new models. Can I upgrade my kernel ?
