K-R42(RK3188 Quad Core TV BOX) - Android Stick & Console Computers General

K-R42 from geekbuying is pretty interesting. It has the similar spec as the mk908, t428 and cx919, but in a much bigger box with much more ports. It's on sale for 83.99 USD(free shipping)which is even cheaper than the same thing(but with different brand name:创思奇cs918) from Chinese Taobao.com site of around 95 USD.

Please help me find a android tablet.
Only thing available in the $350 price range now would be the Galaxy Tab Wifi only version. Released only today.
However, it is a 7inch and not dual core, but does have a nice 1ghz processor on it. Check it out on Amazon. For $350 it is the best you will find.
well i have seen chinese ones with these specs but not sure on which one to buy....
I do like the Samsung Galaxy Tab but I want a 10 inch capacitive and hdmi....

Advice on reliable dual core Mali GPU with Ethernet

As stated in the title, I need an android box with a an RJ45 Ethernet jack.
I prefer to get one with the Mali GPU, at least 1G ram/8G rom. I would also like to have Miracast and Bluetooth.
Several boxes seem to fit the bill, but all the Amazon reviews mention these boxes dying within months!
I would rather have fewer features and reliability if there is a trade off.
So... Who out there can suggest a box that is reliable?
Thanks!

Dragonfly Futurefön

I came across the following product on IndieGogo, and I have to admit that I got really curious by their story. They designed a device that combines a phone, a tablet and a laptop. And not only that, but you actually get a 7 inch phone and a 2x7 inch dualscreen laptop. Tabletmode is the 7 inch phone with a very special dock which will be explained later. Oh, and the device runs Android and Windows. Simultaneously.

Specs
The windroid version comes with a i5 or i7 processor (t.b.d.), 4 or 8 gb of ram and 256gb of SSD storage. The graphics card will be the intel 4400 or 5000 series.
The phone (and tablet) come equipped with a Snapdragon 801 (can change to the 810 closer to production), 3gb of ram, 16,32 of 64 gb of storage and a 3200mAh battery (which can increase closer to production).
The pure android version doesn't have the seperate windows hardware and functions solely with the phone hardware. The phone also comes with a bluetooth headset and touch pen.
Prijs
The Windroid version can be pre-ordered on Indiegogo for 400 dollars. The Android version is priced at 300 dollars. When released the pricing is planned to be 799 and 599 dollars respectively.
I think the pricing on both of these devices is amazing for the stuff you get, both the Indiegogo and release prices. The are some drawbacks though, especially if you are an intensive laptop user. Double screen is nice, but 2x7" is extremely small to work comfortably. What do you guys think? Is this the "next big thing"?

[Q] Acer Aspire A3 21.5" Android, uses Intel Celeron J1850, windows possible..?

It's tough to find ANY info in this, almost no reviews eventhough it looks like this came out about a year ago. whats interesting is that it uses a processor i havent seen really used at all, intel celeron j1850 which supposedly is faster than a tegra 4. also this has expandable ram up to 8gbs. i wonder if the 500gb HD can be replaced too. possible to maybe install windows on this?

Lenovo Tab2 A10-70F (full Hd) VS Acer Tab10 A3-A40

Hi Guys i want to get my son a tablet with out spending a small fortune.
I already have a Lenovo A10-70F and im really happy with it, but i was also looking at the new Acer A3-A40 and not sure which to buy as they are around $149-£179 in price which i want to spend
Specs
lenovo:
Mediatek MT8165 with MaliT760 MP2
Acer:
Mediatek MT8163A with Mali-T720 MP2
Both HD screens, and good speakers. Size wise there pretty much the same.
Is the Acer which is a new tablet worth the extra £30 or is the spec less than the Lenovo.
Can not find any real reviews on the Acer as i think its just recently out.
Any help would be great
Anyone know about the different chip sets? which is better? ie for games
