Bamboo Paper - Galaxy Note 8.0 (Tablet) Themes and Apps

Searched on this app and was surprised to find it is not mentioned much. Especially being a Wacom product. I know it has been around for awhile but not anything in the Note 8 section about it that I could find. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
Anyways, Bamboo Paper app v1.0.2 works on my Note 8 without issue if anyone wants to try it out (might need Mode Switcher installed but not for sure). Also works fine on my S4.
Looks like it has official support for the Note 1/2 & S3 but no Samsung tablets as of yet. Maybe in a future update they will add more Samsung devices.

This is a very nice device but looks like its being passed up. It looks like alot going on for the new larger sized samsung tabs and other devices.

Samsung has announced that it will be getting ICS (android 4.0.x), but I haven't heard/seen anything concerning CM9. On the other hand, if ICS from samsung shows up (and they post the source as they are supposed to do), and CM9 shows up for other tablets (as well as other exynos-based devices), it should be trivial to do the port (and I might even take that on myself.)

[Q] which suits me with my course?

2 Basic Choices are the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
What I like with the SG Note 2 is it's portability. However with the SG Note 10.1, I can do video editing, note taking, and a lot more easier and it's pre-loaded with Photoshop which I think I can begin with as someone without any knowledge in photoshop (or can't I?).
Not to mention that the SG Note 10.1 has an accessory called BT S Pen, which I think will solve my problem of carrying a large phablet. Any smart ideas on how to carry the BT S Pen?
For my course, I am yet to shift to any of the 3: Game Design and Development (an IT course), Animation, or Digital FilmMaking
Also, I also consider taking a multimedia course since I want to be a concpet artist in a game company but since it's multimedia, I might not like some medias there O.O
The reason why I have those 3 is that I love to tell stories though I don't think I'm that good when it comes to writing O.O
Whenever I watch animes and or movies, I always have that feeling of making me want to do one. Specially animes. But I like games too. In short, I also need a course advise. I am an artistic type of person too
Bottomline is that I want to be a concept artist and or tell my stories through anime or movie.
So anyone there ready to help me?
Also, can you recommend an up-to-date laptop that will best match your course choice for me? (particularly Samsung - yeah, I'm a Samsung fan now xD)
**I have posted threads like this in different forums and not even one answered. So I'm really hoping someone will answer and help me the best they can. More importantly, I will eternally appreciate any response here. Thank you**
If you want to see my answer to my question, continue reading
I think I would pick SG Note 10.1 since my problem is solved with the BT S Pen.
I think I would go Game Development or Animation since I can make concept arts when I pick one of them. But I still need to hear from you -.-
If you get a good laptop then you won't need all those apps on your phablet, right? In which case,I'd go with the galaxy note 2.If you would still need them, then you would get the galaxy note 10.1,in which case there would be very little use of your laptop, right?Think about that.I would personally get a good laptop and the note 2,then I'd get the best of both worlds. But that's just me,comes down to your choice,really...I really don't know about your course, though.

Thanks for the fast reply sir.
My reason for going a phablet and a laptop is for portability. The laptop will serve as a workstation and the phablet will be for presentation purposes and a little bit of finalizing. At first I had a problem when I thought there would be no other way to answer calls since the SG Note 10.1 is large. Later did I know there's the BT S Pen which will make calls easier to answer. Not to mention, with a style xD. Honestly, I was inspired by Asus PadFone.
About the course, don't worry because I'm sure and hoping someone will say their opinions.
Thanks again...

[Q] CyanogenMod for Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 ?

Hi everyone
I was checking the differences between the Note Pro and the Tab Pro 12.2 ^^
Those 2 devices looks very similar...
I'm wondering if we could get some Galaxy Tab Pro's rom for our device
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-pro-12-10-8/development/sm-t320-source-build-cyanogenmod-11-t2818841
I think in time we'll see them come, but the thing to remember is that our beloved 12.2 is still very much a niche market due to cost. As the price falls, we'll see more users, and with that we'll see some ports. Until then, I'd suggest rooting it and checking out the Xposed repos; you'll get many of the features of a custom rom.
This is my first Note device . . . How is the active stylus handled in CM on other Note devices? Is one able to sideload samsung apps and other active stylus enabled applications back on without issues?
I don't really care for the samsung apps really but I do like the shell integration of the S-Pen with regards to taking screen captures of parts of the screen or doing Pen-Windows.

Typically if you use a ROM that's based from a Samsung source ( like a touchwiz ROM ) , you'll have the ability to use most of the Samsung apps w/o a lot of hassle. there are non-Samsung apps that will perform similar functions though, so poke around in the forums a bit. CM is very robust and has a ginormous user community, so odds are good someone can point you in the right direction if you want to go with a CM rom.

[APP] MontBlanc Exclusive Content V2.6
Hello Folks!
Download the latest version of MontBlanc Exclusive Content V2.6
Note: Open link via mobile it'll redirect to Galaxy App Store
Direct Link: http://www.samsungapps.com/appquery/appDetail.as?appId=com.sec.android.app.montblanc&cntyTxt=424&equipID=SM-N910C
Observations: Android 6.0.1 | Montblanc Exclusive Content
Hello folks,
What I have noticed from Marshmallow 6.0.1 OS upgrade and also with latest update of Montblanc Exclusive Content 2.6.01-3 is:
1. Installing apk alone will not help when it's come to Montblanc logo pages in S-Note , unless you attach Montblanc flipcover go to settings choose Montblanc page. This time Samsung has scrutinize it.
When it comes to Montblanc e-Starwalker you won't be able to use it when S-Pen inserted into phone unless you opt out from S-Pen power saver option in S-Pen settings
Kindly share your experiences.
Also find the latest APK to those who wish to try it and do not forget to share your experience as well.
It's there any work around from having to attach the case to activate the background and pens? Thanks.
I'm using tmo us note 4 on mm w/your latest apk and it won't load pens, or background, but the wallpapers with ink in water affect still works. If there can be any any any help with getting this working Wil be soo greatly appreciated! Please!! Thank you.
What version of S-Note does this work with? I have 5.1 and the pens aren't showing up at all.

As I have mentioned earlier, it seems Sammy has patched up the loophole which makes compel to use flip cover to get the pens and Montblanc background logo in S-Note which is disappointing to many users who cannot afford premium accessories from Montblanc.
Today I have tested both with only APK and with Montblanc flip cover as you all have complaining which is true.
Now it works only when you attached Montblanc flip cover which enables Pens and Montblanc background logo in S-Note
By only installing APK gets only wallpapers nothing else.
Hope someone will come up with solution to fix this to work without flip cover.

S-Note has nothing to do with MontBlanc Exclusive Content, Sammy has scrutinize and has patched the loophole.
The only option to get Pens and Montblanc logo background as of now is to use Montblanc Flip Cover
thank you for your response. Man that stinks. Please, someone help find a work around!!! Having that inspired more spen use for me.
Thank you everyone in this community as well
The latest version in the Galaxy Store is 2.6. Works great on brand new N910P running 4.4.4 Kitkat.

Can The Note 8 Do call and message continuity?

I've tried everything. To my knowledge that seems to be available to get this INSTALLED on Note 8 via these mirror links for the actual app.
Firsr things first. No I AM NOT on [Verizon].
I use T-Mobile and I purchased the phone from T-Mobile.
My Note 8 is on Android 9 though. Now that can make a difference for sure I know.
I know its old and the newer phones all support the feature built in. So, I am asking.
Has any person gotten it installed onto a not work and managed to get it to work through something new like Galaxy S7 - S5.
I have the Galaxy S7+, thia feature would be essential for me when I'm using the tablet.
Also, my S7+ is Wifi only, no Cell 4G/5G.
I've seen a post where a guy said he "Installed"
Call & Message Continuity
Does this even work on Android 9?
Help?
Really. No one has any kind of answer?
