Sensation 4g Black Screen problem - HTC Sensation

Hey guys,
I have a HTC sensation 4g and i have had for about a year now. The phone has S-off and rooted stock rom, and clockwork mod.
I had my phone in my backpack today riding my bike home. When i got home and tried to use it, the screen came on, then it had all sorts of lines in it and faded into black screen completely. I took out the battery, thought maybe the battery was just too low (it was at 6% when i left school). I have charged the battery to full, and no matter what i do the screen is always black, i can see the lcd back light is on from the buttom left corner.
When i tried to turn the phone on, the back light will stay lit for a few minutes, then the orange indicator next to the speaker will blink as the phone is on but low on battery. I have completely disassembled the phone and checked all the connectors, ribbon cable, the digitizer and LCD display. No crack or damage to either the display or digitalizer. I am completely out of ideas as what maybe the cause of the issue here.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks in Advance!

Phone Freeze > White Screen > Vibrate + Black Screen

My HTC was working fine yesterday until it froze at one point and it wouldn't respond to any buttons including the lock button (which has never happened before except occasionally during incoming calls). I did a battery pull and at first it would only vibrate and remain a black screen, though I could see that it did light dimly when I pressed the power button. After about 20 battery pull attempts it went back to showing the splash and screen and the phone turned on succesfully. After about 10 minutes it froze again, I did a battery pull and now it only showed the splash screen and froze, occasionally showing a red light in the top left corner. My phone was already on low battery so this process went on for another 25 minutes or so (vibrate + screen, freezing on splash screen, or booting then freezing) until I gave up. I came home and charged it overnight while it was off, and it was fully charged this morning, but now it won't turn on at all, it only vibrates once with the screen lighting very dim for a moment then just has a black screen.
I've been searching for a solution for the last 3 hours, seems it could be a range of things but nothing I've tried has worked. I'd appreciate the help, I already spent £90 on getting the screen repaired a couple weeks ago, I don't really want to spend more especially if for some reason HTC decide it can't be repaired under warranty.
Are you s-off and running a custom Rom? It so can you provide details on Rom, kernel and firmware?
There were threads a few weeks back about sensations randomly dying.
Thanks
s-off?
No I'm not running custom ROM.
Came acrosss a few other threads with similar threads but my problem seems to be a combination of everyone else's problems, so I'm a bit lost
are you under warentee? Your stock so there should be no reason at all for HTC to deny your warentee. I'm curious, have you tried to put a different battery in? To see if possibly your battery has gone bad? Worth a try? Even though it says full charge maybe its gone bad? Wouldn't hurt to try. If not and new battery won't work I'd definitely look into warentee repair. You have not altered your device so they definitely should honnor repair.

[Q] HELP!!! my phone seems to have died

T-Mobile Sensation 4G. rooted, ICS (not exactly sure which version, likely custom)
I had a cracked screen, replaced it, ran into laggy screen problem but seemed to manage it for past few weeks.
Last night, battery ran out of juice. When I realized that, the screen is black but the bottom buttons r all lighted up in white. couldn't turn it off with the power button so I took the battery out. since then, pressing the power button will give me a phone that vibrates ONCE every 5-6 seconds. Nothing can change that state except taking out the battery.
I got home. plugging the phone into a desk charger (anker dock) and it starts giving me red light for a couple of seconds then darkness for 20sec then red light for 2s then darkness. plugging to the PC does the same thing.
I happen to have an extra battery (this seems to be the original one from HTC but kinda old). With this battery in, phone will only give me the black screen and vibrates and it will heats up a little bit when cable is plugged in.
I also check the voltage of both battery. original one (old from htc) gives 4.4v and aftermarket one (bought on ebay) gives 3.9v.
Vol.down + power button doesn't do anything. Computer won't recognize phone
Can any one please give me a hint of what's going on?
I also have this issue. Running CM9 Nightly 8-16. My battery was charging slowly, then the next day it was dead even though it was on charge overnight. I swapped batteries with another sensation ( I have 3 on my account ) and all I get is what the OP said. HELP PLEASE
Lol been way too long that I posted this. I ended up contacting HTC and they verified that I was still under warranty and fixed it for me. They even switch out the replacement screen and put in the original from htc-tmobile.

[Q] MotoG dead after, can't boot.

Hello,
first of all, I've read every other guide on the internet with the same problem, I haven't found a fix yet.
My problem is a little bit different then others.
A couple of days ago my phone got really hot, so I decided to stop use it so it can cool a bit. It still had like 80% battery remaining. After it was cooled down a bit it wasn't powered on anymore and I was unable to boot it up, it was just dead. I placed it in the fridge for about half an hour, after that it was working fine again.
Now I have the problem that it won't power on again. If I plug it into the wall (original charger) There is just a white LED on the front, which means the phone is too low to turn the screen on, After 2 minutes or so the white LED disappers, but the screen is not turning on. If I plug it off and on again the white LED is back on.
When the LED is gone i tried pressing some buttons according to some guides in the internet. The only result was, when I pressed the power down and the power button while the white LED is off, it just comes back on after exactly 2 minutes.
I also tried 3 different batteries, 2 of them are original motorola batteries for the MotoG, the other one a cheap ebay one.
Is there any chance I can bring it back to live? Or at least get my data recovered?
Greetings,
Lukas

Shocked the board

I was removing the inner plastic of the phone and accidentally shocked the board in this area. After that I can't charge my phone or see any display although I see Google pop up a few times with the digitizer flickering. Now without that battery I can hit power and it would vibrate. But other than that I can't see anything.
Here some pictures. Is my phone dead? I tried changing the USB charging ribbon L piece but that didn't work out. Wasnt OEM and poor fitment.
Cant post the image
Here it is

Without the battery I can power and it would vibrate without nothing on display. With battery it does nothing. Although I saw a red light briefly. I can NFC charge it. But won't power still. Not sure if I should spend any more money on this used banged up $80 n5.

Which part of the phone is or board is it linked to. Also I did anther experiment without the battery back light comes on see grey if I tap the online I see pixelated rainbow or TV black n white lines. Weird..
The area that you are pointing to has the battery connector right beside it. It could be the battery or the board.

Question even without the battery wouldn't the phone turn on and work as normal without the battery?
I've never been able to get an N5 to boot without the battery being connected, even an almost dead battery would allow the phone to boot as long as it is connected to a charger.
Well oh well thought I had a chance to fix it when the backlight and the phone would power on with 99% no display. Battery seems to charge through NFC but what's odd is that with the battery I can hold power nothing happens. Without battery it vibrates and I think it boots up but I'm not completely sure. I'm guessing because I would go into recovery and I can feel it vibrate once going into bootloader second time I hit the power button then it vibrates again. I think first option is to start

Don't worry, it can be fixed. I just fixed mine yesterday after spending 2 days contemplating buying a Nexus 5x due to this one being broken. For a few days my mic wasn't working then I realised that pressing hard just below the camera hump got it working again as you can see in the link below I replied with my solution, I suspect the problem isn't the long connector on the left but maybe a loose component behind it on the other side of the mainboard. I jammed some folded paper behind the board and now it works fine. Jamming it in front of the board worked but from time to time the screen went off and I had to reset the phone for it to work again.

Water damage only orange led

Hey guys,
a few days ago I accidentally dropped an HTC One E8 in water and obviously it doesn't work anymore. Before buying a new one I wanted to ask, if some of our "HTC experts" may have suggestions on what else I could try before giving up.
The situation: I dropped it in water, didn't turn it off (dumb, I know) and it worked for around 10 minutes until it powered off. I left it in rice for a day and it didn't turn on or charge. At this point I nearly gave up.
I left it for in rice (about 48 hours) and - the orange led was flashing while charging. Even the screen turned on and it showed a charging symbol first and after a few seconds it showed a red circle and a white exclamation mark. After some time I could power it on and the touchscreen worked and I could use it, but it still was around 1%/0%. The screen flickered, but it was usable. I wanted to plug it in my computer then to rescue some data, but 5 seconds after I took it off power (to switch from the wall charger to my PC) it died.
Now I tried it to power it on for like 2 days, but with no charger connected nothing happens and when I connect the charger, the orange led is on constantly. I tried power/volume- and power/volume+, but nothing happens. Not even the charging indicator comes up, the screen is completely dead.
Are there any steps to try before giving up? By the way I don't want to disassemble it
Thanks in advance
