I have a Verizon Galaxy Note2 with a VRAMC3 radio and was wondering how to modify it so that it will bounce various carrier towers (meaning that if I'm in an area that doesn't have an AT&T tower but does have a Tmobile or Verizon tower, it will use it). I am using an AT&T compatible sim card for Net10. I know that it can be done but haven't been able to find out how or what I need to do it with. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, I'm told the GS3 is supposed to get global roaming support through a software update. My question is in remote areas of the US where service is only available through AT&T (Snowshoe, WV for example) is there some way to unlock the phone to roam on AT&T's network here in the US? Would putting an AT&T sim in work? Any other ideas of how to accomplish this? Any input is greatly appreciated.
ok so i learned today that you can roam on the tmobile side of straight talk. With a ATT sim card and get data. how do we do this i read the thread about the aws band and tmobile radio and i read the recent unlock thread free method. if i put the tmobile modem on and unlock will i be able to achieve this?
the tmobile side gets way faster 3g than att ive noticed.
I have a spring galaxy s3 and it uses roam control an app to force roaming. how do i do this running aokp.on the skyrocket
I have seen a tread of "every Sprint PRL" and wanted to ask this there, but wasn't allowed to. I have a Motorola Triumph 3G phone which runs on the Sprint network. Sprint is currently updating all the towers in my area and we will have 4G LTE by the end of the year. I know that I can't get 4G with my phone, but I would like to know what the best PRL to use with my phone would be. I would like to be able to connect with better priority and fully utilize the new towers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have updated my PRL once and am currently running 21094.
I was wondering if you guys could help me understand something as I don't know much about cellular carriers. I currently own a Lumia 920 on att and was looking to trade it for a galaxy s3. I found someone who will trade with me, but he is on Verizon and the phone is with Verizon. I applied on att for an unlock code so that he would be able to use it, but I'm not sure how the whole GSM vs cdma works. What would I have to do to make this swap work if that's even possible?
thanks in advance.
It is cdma vs gsm networks. The gs3 on Verizon can work on gsm networks but was not designed to be utilized solely on a gsm network. I would stick with s phone from your current provider

I have an unlocked Verizon LG G4 VS986, I have an AT&T sim card in it and can make and receive calls and texts just fine. I also have internet but it's showing the H symbol and an up and down arrow below it. I have speed tested it in many places including my house and it is slower than My At&t s6 edge was while using the data. I checked a bunch of places and the APN settings seem to be correct. Why am I not getting 4g or lte speeds when I was in the same places with my At&t branded S6 Edge? Can anybody help me atleast get hspca or lte?
Thanks
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. Unfortunately Verizon uses a different LTE band than other carriers. Their hardware often only supports that band. You can see if other users here can help, http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/help There probably are as this is a common question regarding Verizon hardware on the AT&T network.
