Hey guys here's a way to move app/data files to external sd..
No need to create swap partition
Only use folder mount
U can download it from playstore
Then u can play high end games from ur external sd and use ur internal sd as u want

Hello everyone...
this is my first post on xda since i couldnt find any solution if i'm at fault kindly bear with me
1. i flashed my gt i9003 with miui v10.4 a week ago and everything was going fine
2. but today i suddenly got a notification that my storage was full
3. when i checked i noticed that the apps i installed were on internal sd card which is just 2gb(1.7gb usable)
4. i tried moving some apps which were installed on phone memory only to see them move to internal sd card.
5. i have a 32 gb external sd card which is visible in file explorer and i can browse the files but the apps when moved from phone memory doesnt move to external sd card.
6. kindly help me out with the above issue where i can move the apps i installed on phone memory to external sd card so that i can use it for installing games and not limit its usage to just songs and videos.

As much as i have used miui-gb i think external sd sometimes stay as external_sd folder only...try to format or reflash the rom.
As phone is having 1.85 gb of internal memory why dont u use it until it doesnt get full ???
U can use sd swap which will interchange internal and external sd.

i already reflashed the rom and also sd swap.zip again but still no use.since i install a lot of games the internal sd card is already full.can you please suggest anyother method so that i can interchange internal sd with the external one. thanks for the reply...

and my phone was rooted i want move the games external sd because internal sd is 2gb only
there are apps for that like gl to sd,link to sd and many more and u can also swap ur external memory with internal.

Before swapping, try to use app like Link2SD, app to SD.

I had same problem . If you have external SD card,swap it with internal one(will increase internal memory)-

1 . Download root browser from play store
2. Browse to /system/etc/vold.fstab
3. Vold.fstab is the file to be replaced by this vold.fstab- http://db.tt/WLjGyBKK
4.reboot and check your storage in settings>storage

You can use folder mount or SD card swap to do this....

Recently i bought a phone with 16Gb INTERNAL memory and 3 gb external Sd, until now i used a phone with merged memory sd + internal, now i wanna know how i can install any game ( .apk + OBB) to internal memory to 16 gb memory, not on the SD card. If i install the apk and copy the obb to internal/android/obb or internal/android/data the game won't work. It only works if i copy the obb files into SD CARD, but i don't want that. Any Ideea?

! I managed to fix the installs, U just need to unmount SD Card, copy the Obb files to obb folder ( Internal/android/obb) then install apk and run it.

There is a better way. Always try to make The real folder of the game and paste the obb in it inside the Android folder before installing the apk. After that install the apk.
When u first install the apk it creates its own folder and will not read you data. So first create Obb folder then install apk.

Try moving the app to the internal storage in the "Apps" in settings.
Also you should set Internal SD as default in "Storage" under settings. NOTE: Some phones don't have this option.
maybe you can try some of the apps that move the app to the SD card after installation?
