[Q] CM 10.1 update OTA delete ROM Manager - RAZR HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm using Skrilax CM 10.1 for my XT926, and I have the 17 Jul Nightly installed. I figured I would try the OTA and update to the latest Nightly. Downloaded and updated to 20 Jul and all seemed fine except 1 app ROM Manager. I had the premium version installed and the ""Restore ROM Manager" option selected, but after the OTA update, it was gone. I reinstalled from Play and noticed it didn't recognize my "Recovery," just had to set it up again, but it will not "Reboot into Recovery" from ROM Manger. My biggest issue/concern is my backups are not displayed. I booted in to recovery and they are there, just not displayed in ROM Manager. I tried another nightly, 19 Jul and same thing.
*** UPDATE ***
This seems fixed in the 07/25 build. Updated and still have ROM Manager

[Q] HTC One flashing

on 9 Jan I posted: I have rooted my One S ville, installed SuperSU and TWRP. i am now trying to flash CM10.2.0 ville, but getting errors. I wiped my storage, but when I run the flash process it tells me "failed to get default contexts and file mode for storage files" ( looks to me like a permissions problem). Then at the end it tells me it had an error executing update binary, etc etc.
So what is the fix?
hboot 2.15
currently running 4.1.1. through T-Mobile.
Part 2: on 11 Jan update: I think I put myself in a hole.. I read about the issues with s-off on HTC devices. So I did the steps to make my recovery ROM (TWRP) my boot ROM. I still could not flash CM10 or CM12 or superuser, for the same errors as above. NOW when I boot into any mode, it always goes to TWRP.

Phone Rebooting and Nightly updates and Optimizing Apps

Hi
Ok had a problem with the nightly updates
Downloaded the latest nightly update and then added it to CyanDelta. Loaded ok but then the phone kept rebooting and going into the optimization of Apps over and over again. Got it into recovery mode and installed a backup. Lost root so installed SuperSU via recovery. Now running version 12-20150329. I see the most recent update is 12-20150424. I don’t want to go through the same thing again if I install the update. I did not install any Gapps with update
What can be done to prevent it rebooting and optimization of apps again?
Thanks
I'm having a same problem !!! its not going ahead of "Android is starting... " "Optimizing app". PLEASE HELP !!
Can anyone help with this
Tried it again last night and same problem. I just installed the latest update CM-12.1-20150428 and did not install the previous ones 50424 and 50426. Phone rebooted initially but then rebooted again and went into update and optimization??
Do I have to install these first or do I need to install an updated Gapps?

Error 7 while installing cyanogen mod 13 nightly with twrp recovery

Hi,
So I am using at the moment a OnePlus One and have just recently flashed twrp-3.0.1-0-bacon.img as a custom recovery. Also I have just rooted the phone using SuperSU.
I tried installing the latest nightly of cm 13 for the OnePlus one and the corresponding GApps, however when I install it it either says "file corrupted" or "error downloading cm 13 error 7".
I have already searched for a solution and tried deleting asserts. That didn't work...
Can someone help me solve this problem?
**I downloaded everything from the original sites

Which SuperSU to load for 6.01 Dec 2016 Image

I had 6.01 Oct 2016 security image installed with SuperSU working great. I forgot which version I had when I flashed the images for the Dec 2016 security update.
Now I can't figure out which SuperSU to use. I tried the latest beta and the latest stable and my Nexus 5 would just bootloop for half an hour and nothing else. I know when you install it it should reboot a couple times, but bootlooping for 30 minutes isn't normal.
Anyone know which SuperSU version I should use?
2.78 SR5 (the latest beta) works fine for me.

Something weird with Root.

Hello.
I have a Pixel with stock Android that was rooted with Chainfire SuperSU 2.78SR3
Last night I've noticed that the phone isn't rooted anymore and has installed the Feb security update OTA. (I only had the Nov update installed).
I've tried rerooting using the same method (Fastboot boot) and got stuck in a bootloop.
I had to flash a clean stock rom to get it out of the bootloop.
Next I installed TWRP. That worked.
Next I tried installing a ZIP version of SuperSU 2.78SR4. The Zip installs but when I boot into Android SuperSU says that the phone isn't rooted.
Anyone had anything similar happen to them?

You might need to flash back to stock to fix this. If you do let us know so we can help you save your data and apps.
You used the wrong SU. You need 2.79 SR3. Note the 9 on there, you used 2.78.

Copy it to your phone and boot to TWRP. Then INSTALL it from TWRP.
