I'm thinking that the firmware file you are trying to use has got the vengeance kernel embedded in it, you can't use a custom kernel with a locked bootloader.
Either unlock your bootloader and try to flash the kernel or find the stock kernel, flash that and then unselect the kernel from the firmware file.
no,its a sttock ftf file from option58's thread an I've tried 3 different files but the result is the same

So here I am.
My girlfriend was having random RAMDumps
so I figured out a rom would fix it somehow.
I installed gimlo, working etc.
Now after restarting it was stuck on the splash screen.
Can't access Recovery, but I can access Flash Mode and Fastboot.
Although fastboot is locked...
I can't get into the rom nor booting.
Only the splash screen.
No I was trying to flash the stock firmware through flashtool.
I tried flashing these:

and fastboot isn't recognized by my computer somehow...
(Fastboot devices shows nothing, and waiting for device takes aged)
I tried keeping out the battery for a night, no help.
Specs:
Flashtool version : 0.9.11.0 built on 2013-06-04 22:50:00
Xperia Miro : ST23I Europe (Netherlands)
Recovery : TWRP
ROM : GIMLO
Fastboot and FlashMode both aren't recognized by my computer, but flashtool recognizes them differently though.
But it's just stuck at the splash..
any help?

Tried ST23i_4_0_4_xperia.ftf too.
ended up the same..
Maybe you should try using thr latest version of flashtool on a different system.
Alternatively, you can use sony pc companion or update service.

you compiled flashtool????
It looks like drivers problem.

EDIT
I remember that I had problem with fastboot - I've installed some sony fastboot drivers, and it work until now..
Hello all Pros,
I have a Sony Xperia L C2105 with bulid number 15.3.A.144 and trying to flash this C2105_15.3.A.1.17_1272-2171_R2B_Generic_DE downloaded from here:
dw link: http://dl.androidkade.com/2014/May/rom/C2105_15.3.A.1.17_1272-2171_R2B_Generic.rar
dw page link: http://androidkade.com/64917/دانلود-رام-رسمی-4-3-برای-اکسپریا-ال-xperia-l-c2105-بیل.html
because of problem with Front Facing Camera (second camera, When switching to front camera it says unknown error, also in services test the error occurs) and my problem is that Flashtool stucks at flashing loader for hours and nothing happens.
I just want to know where am I wrong? I have flashed a lot of sony xperia with flashtool and in this one I don't know what is the problem!!! or even is this a problem?!!
That was a Problem by version of Flashtools thanks to @darQ96
The Camera Problem was not solved with this ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=54874809&postcount=197
I think maybe its a H/W issue.

If you flashed an stock FTF successfully, and your camera is still not working then it must be a hardware issue.

Hi.
I managed to root my phone (d2203) using this tutorial. I completed all the steps, but when I tried to install xposed it failed. I was trying to fix the SD card KitKat restrictions to properly use Foldermount.
What went wrong?

No, but you need to have FTF file with currently installed firmware, to flash your kernel back, after using M2 kernel.

I managed to root my phone (d2203) using this tutorial. I completed all the steps, but when I tried to install xposed it failed. I was trying to fix the SD card KitKat restrictions to properly use Foldermount.
What went wrong?

Then i uninstalled this app and i instaled ChainsDD from play.google have the Tab 'Apps' but is empty(i just rooted). On Tab 'Info' I have: elite not installed(get elite). su binary v2.00:SUPERSU(0) ,with red '-rwxr-xr-x', with green 'root root' and '/sytem/xbin/su'. And two unchecked: temp unroot, ota survival. And when i click su binary v2.00:SUPERSU(0) it say 'Downloading manifest failed' with button Try again.
Then i installed Busybox and i have this problem.

Part way through the installation I have three times got the following error message:
14/054/2015 20:54:01 - ERROR - Processing of system.sin finished with errors.
14/054/2015 20:54:01 - INFO - Ending flash session

Can anyone help me out == maybe point me in the direction of an alternative kernel I could try flashing?
Thanks in advance,

Hello, to all whoever watching the comment. I want to tell that I've completely revived my Sony Xperia R1 plus G299 model using the rom I found on the website. It's working perfectly. I used the UMT for flashing the firmware. If you guys want the Rom for G299 for flashing. Message me here or write a comment. I'll provide you with firmware.
can you please provide the firmware and steps. it would be a great help!

Sure, I'll provide you with firmware. But I have to give you warning before you do any steps of it
After Flashing the firmware my phone have lost it's IMEI number only its Wi-Fi and Bluetooth is working.
Also this method is just for Sony Xperia R1 Plus which is hardbricked means it doesn't turns , screen shows nothing when pressed button only shows red led blinking when charging cable is used.
Note: If you don't wanna to loose it's IMEI please don't use this method.
Requirements: - Ultimate Multi Tool software, Qualcomm USB Drivers & firmware.
Steps: -
1) Please install the UMT in your system/computer. You'll need to purchase it's usb as this software is not free or you can go nearest mobile repair shop as they do have this software generally or see if your friend have one.
2) Please install Qualcomm usb drivers.
3) If your phone is hardbricked this method works on it only. So open your phone back panel reach to it's motherboard.
4) Now after reaching find Sony G299 Edl points and short them but remove battery first. After shorting both edl points keep them shorted and insert the USB cable in phone and then in your computer. (You have to keep edl point shorted until you plugged the cable)
4) In your device manage you'll see the a usb COM port will be shows (It'll be like this Qualcomm HS-USB Qloader 9008 COM and some number).
5) It means your device is not connected in EDL mode if not try repeating the step above. If it worked make sure the device name shown in device is not showing any kind on error mark in device manager like this
if it does. That means your QC Usb drivers are not good. Seek help on youtube if this happens as this error is not gonnalet us flashing the firmware.
6) Open the UMT tool and choose the flasher option on top. Next make sure its on Single program mode. Below that you have to provide patch file and Xml file. You can do that by going into firmware folder which you've downloaded. It'll automatically detect the file format you just have to select it and then after all is done hit FLASH button.
It'll flash the software in sometime and your phone will reboot after that. But from my result it'll not have it's IMEI number anymore sony IMEI repair is not easy and you'll need to visit service centre maybe.
Here the firmware: - Firmware (https://www.mediafire.com/folder/6tpen9umgcou4/SONY_G2299_S000028_171102_2017-09-01)
Let know how it worked for you.
thank you so much!
