Or just link to the official HTC page...which doesn't mention 4G anywhere in the spec list, only DC-HSDPA

The Global site lists different specs. And it's interesting the AT&T variant isn't listed as the One's specs show all the carrier-specific bands.

One:
And the Moto X is actually smaller, at least in length, than either the SGS4 Mini (4.9") and One Mini (5.2").

looking at the phones compared to eachother its hilarious they're doing this.
-the phones almost look identical in size.
-htc one was released just a little bit ago. these phones come out so often its ridiculous.
-im fine with my htc one.

The One and One mini are similar in height, but the big reduction comes in width. That makes just as big a difference as height does. Just look at how different the Note 2 feels compared to the Note 1.

Has anyone considered that maybe HTC is planning on selling this phone extremely cheap and not requiring a 2 year upgrade? Like what google did with the Nexus! They might price this at $250-$300!

They won't we have pricing already in the UK the nexus is still cheaper.

Yeah I found out right after that post. HTC deserves to go bankrupt for stuff like this.
I think more developers need to release more flagship devices with midrange specs and sell it at a lower price point. Some people want to buy a decent phone but don't want to spend $600 for it.
It doesnt need the best specs. Only midranged, but treat it as a flagship and a device that matters!

I'd rather buy a Nexus 4 for $300. Rumor is the Moto X will hit a low price point too.

Rumour is that Google subsidises the Nexus 4 to the tune of $300+ - there's no way that HTC can compete with that.

Camera issue
Is the camera so bad as the first reviews said it is? It's a good idea not to compete in megapixels, but 4MP seems too low for a phone. I mean if it was a nikon it would make phantastic 4MP images, but I think it would have been better to stay with a standard 8MP. Or they may have just messed up something. I love the design of this phone and I wanted to buy it until I heard the problems with the image quality. No wonder they published a software improvement, but that's not enough!

I have the One (not Mini) and love the camera. It's much better than I expected. It was one of the hangups I had before buying it too because I use my phone as my main camera but I've been nothing but pleased with this since May. The ONLY thing that sucks about it that it doesn't do well to crop photos (because it's only 4MP) but for low light situations (indoors, outdoors at night or dusk) and HDR there is nothing better.

Will we getting the cool Ruby Red version of HTC One mini? Looks cool on HTC One

No, that color is exclusive to Sprint.

How much cost the phone?

Would it not really depend on the price. At $350 it's a good phone, at $450 it will fail.

If you've already seen the Xiaomi M1 announcement about a month ago, well, forget it, because Xiaomi has already made some significant changes since then. What we've just learned from today's Beijing launch event is that the M1 -- now officially "Xiaomi Phone" -- no longer packs a 1.2GHz dual-core chip; instead, it's been given a bump to a Qualcomm MSM8260 SoC, thus becoming the first Chinese phone to sport a 1.5GHz dual-core chip. As part of the Snapdragon package, the phone is also powered by a powerful Adreno 220 graphics processor, which will no doubt make good use of the phone's 1GB RAM and a staggering 4GB ROM. Oh, and that ¥2,600 (about US$410) price tag? It's now ¥1,999 ($310), and will be available for pre-order on August 29th for October delivery. Read on for more surprises!
Update: We've just been informed that there will also be a 1.2GHz version available for an even cheaper price!
Update 2: Our hands-on post is up!
Xiaomi Phone with MIUI OS: a $310 phone with 1.5GHz dual-core SoC and other surprises
Unlike most phones with a 1400mAh or 1500mAh battery these days, the Xiaomi Phone gets a ginormous 1930mAh cell instead, and we're promised to get two days worth of real-life usage out of it -- CEO Lei Jun emphasised the "real-life" part, so we shall see. Another surprise -- albeit an odd one -- is that this phone supports both GPS (with A-GPS) and Russia's GLONASS, meaning President Medvedev can navigate around his country just fine while updating his Weibo Twitter.
As for the rest, you get a 4-inch 480 x 854 LCD courtesy of Sharp (LCD for better outdoor performance, and 4 inches for Asian ergonomics), three touch buttons below the screen, a customisable "Mi key" (camera shutter or Weibo; long press for home screen), an eight megapixel camera with an F2.4 lens, and a dual antenna design that plays well with any kind of grip (obviously a little wink at Apple). Dimension-wise we're looking at 125mm x 63mm x 11.9mm, weighing 149g or 5.3 ounces -- just a tad heavier than the iPhone 4. As for accessories, we're told that there will cases in at least seven bright colors, along with spare batteries of the same set of colors (that's how awesome Xiaomi is).
Of course, let's not forget the real star here: the MIUI (pronounced "mee-you-eye") OS, which is a low-level custom UI based on Android 2.3.5. There's no question about MIUI's rapidly increasing popularity in recent years (Xiaomi quoted a user base of about 500,000), but if you insist on trying other Android flavors on Xiaomi's hardware, then you'll be pleased to know that this phone lets you flash whatever firmware you like.
If you're starting to doubt the Xiaomi Phone's reliability, you shouldn't -- we've been told that this phone's been thoroughly torture-tested in the lab, simulating two years worth of usage. "This is why we take much longer than shanzhai factories to make a phone," said the CEO. We'll see about that in two months time, really looking forward to it.

HTC One X+

Just like previous reports and rumors this smartphone will indeed be running on NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 processor, only it will be the new Tegra 3+ instead. The CPU has been boosted to 1.6 GHz and a 1.7 GHz companion core NVIDIA calls 4-PLUS-1. The full details were revealed in this post on Twitter.
According to the leak, the HTC One X+ has dimensions of 134.36 x 69.9 x 9.3mm and weighs in at 129g. Then just like the original HTC One X the device has a 4.7-inch display, an 1,800 mAh battery, and 32GB of internal storage. The differences here are obviously the processor as well as a few other small changes.
He then goes on to mention Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and a new Sense UI 4.5 will be on board too. That will accompany the new Tegra 3+ quad-core processor that has been increased in speed, then we’ll still have 1GB of RAM. I’m hoping they’ve increased the battery life because in this day and age 1,800 mAh just isn’t enough — especially when Motorola’s new flagship is just as thin and comes with a 2,530 mAh battery. Previous rumors point this phone towards T-Mobile for an initial launch but I’m sure we’ll find out more come September 19th at the HTC event in NYC.

HTC already committed to JB on the One S, One X, and One XL. It's not like the existing One X is going to orphaned. While they could turn their backs on early One-series purchasers the goodwill they'd burn in the process doesn't make that seem likely.
I'm confused about what is actually different. Is the processor actually different or is it just clocked a bit higher? What other minor things are actually different? I'm sick of manufacturers re-releasing phones with the same processor clocked a bit higher with other minor changes and passing them off as new phones. If T-Mob does get this, all it means is that T-Mob is finally getting a phone that's been out for several months already.

Upcoming HTC Device [Oneˣ5] Sense 4.5 vid | 1080p | Quad-core S4 | 1.5GB RAM | 480ppi
We have seen a couple pictures of a upcoming HTC device that has a 5 in screen most likely at 480ppi(insane and our eyes cant tell, I know) with 1080p resolution. It has the possible name of the Oneˣ5. I know the photos are bad quality especially the 2nd(earlier photo leak). This phone is also know as HTC6435. Let me know what you guys think!
GSM Arena - Added Specs
The DIx is said to feature a Qualcomm S4 Pro SoC with four Krait cores.
The device is rumored to feature a second notification LED for missed events on the back, near the camera.
Additional Information
It's also worth mentioning that the HTC DIx's 480ppi is odd considering that a 5" panel with a 1920 x 1080 pixels results in a pixel density of just 440ppi. To deliver the 480ppi that the source of the rumor mentions, the HTC DIx would have to either have resolution higher than 1080p or a screen around 4.6" in diagonal. Also the DIx shouldn't be mistaken with the HTC One X+, which runs on a 720p display and a quad-core Tegra 3 processor, not S4 Pro.
Rumored Specs:
Android 4.1.1
Sense 4.5
1080p Screen at 480ppi
Quad-core Snapdragon S4 (Pro)
1.5 GB RAM
16 GB Internal Storage
Non-Removeable Battery
External SD - Unknown at this time

Good thing I only paid $100 for my One X. And since it's a fairly new phone it better last my contract.
If this new phone is real it is 3g? Don't care - would rather have 4G LTE instead of a slightly faster phone.
The One X screen compares nicely to Retina display (IMO)
Hopefully they make this phone more developer friendly. They failed hard on our HOXL. Good thing our devs are geniuses. Looks sharp though color combo looks nice and I like the square look. Probably won't get it immediately though, I'm pretty satisfied with how my phone is now.

I know, I know don't shoot the messenger I just compiled the article from source(s).
Some sources are saying this is not the One X successor, but in the Verizon Droid Incredible line, and calling it the "Droid Incredible X" (DIx). The signature Verizon red detailing does jive with that rumor/theory:
http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-19736_7-57514471-251/5-inch-htc-phablet-tipped-to-be-droid-incredible-x/
Also, Verizon has previously stated that they will not be picking up any of the "One" line. But they have been a decent supporter of HTC Android devices almost from the start. Therefore, I always figured they would just have their own variant similar to the One X in specs, but just different branding. This would be along those lines, but an even bigger screen than the One X!

If its a "real" leak, than its possible the person was taking a picture of the device when they weren't supposed to be. Therefore rushing it, and not getting a chance to focus properly or make multiple attempts. Also, indoors with less than ideal lighting, they will not want to use a flash and draw attention to themselves, so that increases the blur potential.
Or if its an "intentional" leak by HTC, then they might be leaking blurry pics on purpose to add to the mysterious factor, or make it seem like a more authentic leak.

HTC really wants a punch in his face. Why they keep doing Updates to already released phones?
the machine is magnificent. I would have bought without thinking!
if that phone will come out early we can port the jb rom from it to our one s.
No offence but it looks **** in white like that it's 64gb tho

Agree on the white.
But......after all the low storage etc threads, argued In by yours truly, that HTC should release 32 and 64 gb options......HTC listened
Thanks HTC, now just announce the JB update for the One V (my soon to be secondary phone!)and you will continue to keep me as a customer / fanboy for life!

Agreed.
HTC was smart by making the end caps tinted already. Bet those things get nasty after some use. I usually prefer white but I'm way more jealous of the storage space than the color in this case.
It's just not fair ;(

I think HTC's strategy will continue to fail them. It's essentially the same phone they released months ago just it has more storage. This is what the One S should've been when it came out, BUT it also should've had NFC to future proof the device.
Hopefully the memory IC is compatible with our phones so we can just resolder them
Sent from my HTC One S S3
It's not surprising to see HTC made this move to release a variation of one s with different colour and more storage space. And I don't think it's unfair to the "old" one s owner either.
Just like Samsung released S3 alpha in Japan which has better specs than the international S3, companies will never make perfect phone, at least release a perfect one at one time.
The very next day after a device is made available to public, it's already become "yeaterday's" gadget apparently and literally. Moreover we all believed one s was a near perfect masterpiece when we bought it and did not bother too much about the 16gig storage, so why should we complain it now 6 months down the road. And we all know, in 3 years time, or less, one s may only be grandpa's play tool...
Regarding the release of one s se in other countries, I guess it will be available in the future if HTC still wants to keep the one s line. Since I know some big Telecom company like orange uk has marked one s EOL, end of line/life. Or HTC is preparing something big to come in Christmas time.
I do think it would have been nice to have at least 32gig option when one s was released, however that was not the case...
Sent from my HTC One S using xda app-developers app
They could just design it with a microSD slot, it's that simple.
I knew that when I got the phone but didn't think it would bother me so much.
Roming it would be much easier... It's like they took the two bad things from the iPhone... Can't understand that.
Still I love the One S!

I disagree. Even after the One S came out, it's specs didn't become obsolete. The galaxy s3 was released shortly after and even that is on par with the one S based on benchmarks. And as the way things are, a lot of phones are being released with almost similar specs, with the exception of cpu speeds (architecture may be more optimized but say, exynos and snapdragon 4 are very much on par) and ram, phones aren't being differentiated. Not unless the new batch of architecture cpu are released and even then, manufacturer still have to create a phone around it. So while yes, this Taiwan version only phone has more memory, it doesn't mean any one s, one x, are going to be a grandpa toy only time soon. I can see the iPhone 5 being obsolete the moment it came out and being a grandparent toy only (Samsung commercial hit it dead on) but the one s will still be a contender. In fact, the only phones that become obsolete the day after released, are budget phones. Aka, one v and people still complain they aren't getting updates.

good effort by htc but they really could save more complaints/headaches from current HOS owners by adding the following features:

How much it cost?

I am with you! If this phone is going to be unlocked and i can mess around with it and it works on AT&T, i have been waiting a long time for its release. $1170 for the 64gb one, which seems a bit much, but i will sping for it. It was this or the LG Nexus G, but i am not so sure about it.
So the 13 megpix sensor is from Sony, is that good? IDK but i was hoping it was better than the Samsung G3 and maybe even dare to dream equal to the 920 Nokia.
So pumped for this one.
So i just googled straight talk, how good is the data? and are they LTE ready? How does that work? There service area seems thin, and i am a rep for 7 southeastern states, this does not seem like a good option for me, am i missing something? I would love to dump at&t and do that $45 a month plan, no contract.

Sony made the camera for the iphone 4S, they are very very good at that. The data depends on if you get it through AT&T or T-Mobile. I'm planning on getting the T-mobile version for the HSPA+ speeds. In your case, you could have the same coverage by using an AT&T MNVO at a fraction of the price. The upside is there's no prepaid 4G. If you want that, you might consider T-mobile's new unlimited data plan, but then you'd be under contract again :?
MNVO thru straight talk will give me AT&t's coverage and speeds? I would be so happy if that were true. Why wouldnt more people be doing this?
Being an Infinity owner, I couldn't help but think of what the Padfone 2 should have had:
- Keyboard dock
- Full HD display
Also, can the tablet be used without the phone? I would assume not since the tablet is supposed to use the phone's data/apps.

I'm pretty sure the phone's processor and memory also power the tab, the tab is just a screen and battery for the most part.
I'm more interested in getting just the phone than the full kit. I already have an Infinity so I don't need the full Padfone bundle, but the phone itself has some nice specs.
My mother has padfone 1 it's excellent, can't fathom why they left out a keyboard dock from this one. That's the whole reason she got one to replace an old iPhone and iPad and not need a laptop

Couldn't agree more. I also don't see any mention of the stylus that allows you to answer calls while the tablet is docked.
Why Asus would abandon these two unique features is beyond me! Definitely won't consider buying this for my mom now - disappointed
Wonder if the old stylus is compatible since its just BT.... but kb docking is something I would have.

I've seen the coverage from a bunch of website.
I'm pretty sure that they also presented the stylus for this one. I don't know about compatibility for the previous stylus though.
They also said that the keyboard will also be available, i expect by the time this beauty hit the store shelf.
I'm really waiting for this, but being a GNex owner, I hope they have JB ready shortly after it hit the shelf.

lol I don't think they can do that. First, I can't find official information regarding the keyboard (I have watched the live event and there is no mention of the keyboard), are you guys sure that there is a keyboard dock? Second, the Padfone 2 has a new connector at the bottom (around the same size and fully compatible with micro-USB), so there is no way we can fit the Padfone 2 with any Transformer keyboard docks.
