just released my tweak tool for the htc touch pro.
The purpuse for this application is to detect the settings and when reqwested to fix the wrong settings.
THIS IS NOT A TWEAK TOOL THAT YOU CAN`T INSERT YOUR OWN SETTINGS BUT ONLY THE OPTIMIZED SETTINGS.
- TFL3d Performance 1 = Cache Size
- TFL3d Performance 2 = Cache Size Enabled
- TFL3d Performance 3 = Speed High
- TFL3d Performance 4 = Speed Low
- TFL3d Performance 5 = Scroll speed
- TFL3d Performance 6 = Pressure on screen needed
- Camera Burst

- Scroll bar 1 = Size of right scroll bar
- Scroll bar 2 = Size of down Scroll bar
- Scroll bar 3 = Icon Size
- Scroll bar 4 = Icon will be set to 4
- Scroll bar 5 = size of all scroll bars

I saw that antonius 123 is a dutch guy...so I looked @ his site...
the program works like this...
when you run the program you can see all kinds of tweaks you can perform...
The ones that are green are already done, and the ones in red has to be done yet.
Then you can click on the FIX IT button to fix all of this...
It's a really nice app marcel...but:
it's not clear for me wich tweaks are being performed now....
there are for example 6 performance tweaks....I wanna know which one are these...
the camera ones are clear....
then I have the scroll bar...what do you mean excactly?
So when I push tyhat FIX IT button..what will happen...wich tweaks excactly will I apply?

For those who are suffering from a crashing Sense-UI: I found this and just wanted to share it with you.
SuperCharger V6 Script + Install instructions
All you need is root and 5 minutes time to apply the script properly.
I tried this myself and it worked. Finally no crashing Sense-Launcher anymore (because the home-launcher is forced to stay in ram)
and a much better RAM management to improve multitasking and make the UI smoother.
Applying the script is not as hard as it looks.
Hope this will also be included in further roms.

... and I didn't notice any difference if there was any. And YES, it's running here and active and what ever you want...
... but WAIT ... preparing this answer I followed some links and found that. ICS needs some special treatment - as easy as 1,2,3 -
OK then 1,2,3 lets try that one instead.
Tried that and had no more root-permissions. So please be careful. 1,2,3 and it's gone.

Regarding the above guide:
- Maximum for 3rd Partition is 1024MB ie. 1GB. So in 1st Partition, choose maximum partition size leaving only 1024MB so you don't waste any space.

Proper Installation Process ☆
Many of you face different bugs and issues due to improper installation. Follow the steps given on the ROM's thread.
Remove Unwanted System Apps ☆☆
The more apps you have on your phone, less free RAM available. Get rid of those stock apps which you rarely or do not use.If you want to save the app, use something like AppManager, Titanium Backup to archive the apps you want to keep around to SD card. Or just redownload them when you need them. Go into Settings > Apps and figure out which apps you want on your phone and which ones you want to remove. For removing Stock Apps, use Root Explorer or any other file explorer, go into data/sys-parts/app and delete unwanted apps. Reboot your phone after making any changes.

Use Static Wallpaper ☆☆☆
Live wallpapers use much more memory of your phone than a static wallpaper. Even a simple Live Wallpaper will take 2 MB or so of memory. Complicated ones may take up to 20MB. And the live wallpaper will run in background ALL THE TIME taking much of your phone's memory. Live wallpaper even consume your phone's battery. So use a static wallpaper instead.

Everyone loves multitasking and switching from one app to another. But when you multitask, apps run in background and consume battery and take up major part of your memory. 2. App Cache Cleaner
One Tap to clean all cached files for getting more avalable space. This tool can free a lot of storage memory for your phone. Free phone internal momeory, Get more internal rom storage. It is an app which is crucial to anyone who has memory management issues.
2. RAM Manager Pro
★Balance - Option which makes your RAM to the best optimization, this option is for everyday using. Use this option when you want to have fast phone without lags.

Battery Saving Tips
Many users feel that the battery life on their ROM is not very good. First of all never judge a ROM's battery life on the very first day you flash it. Following are some Tips for increasing your battery life - a little maybe.
1. Adjust Your Battery
As stated above, don't judge a ROM's battery life on the very first day you flash it. Adjust your battery! Let your battery drain to 5% and then charge it till 100%. Repeat this 3-4 times and your battery should get adjusted.
2. Don't Use Any Task Killer
There are many threads on XDA stating why you shouldn't use a task killer. Go find them and read them.
Many people think that "Task Killers" actually increase their battery life and free up some RAM. This is not true. Here is why:
Android Forums said:
* Android is hard coded to automatically kill a task when more memory is needed.
* Android is hard coded to automatically kill a task when it’s done doing what it needs to do.
* Android is hard coded to automatically kill a task when you haven’t returned to it in a long time.
* Most services (while possibly running in the background) use very little memory when not actively doing something.
* A content provider is only doing something when there is a notification for it to give. Otherwise it uses very little memory.
* Killing a process when it isn’t ready only causes it to have to reload itself and start from scratch when it’s needed again.
* Because a task is likely running in the background for a reason, killing it will only cause it to re-spawn as soon as the activity that was using it looks for it again. And it will just have to start over again.
* Killing certain processes can have undesirable side effects. Not receiving text messages, alarms not going off, and force closes just to name a few.
* The only true way to prevent something from running at all on your phone would be to uninstall the .apk.
* Most applications will exit themselves if you get out of it by hitting “back” until it closes rather than hitting the “home” button. But even with hitting home, Android will eventually kill it once it’s been in the background for a while.

3. Use WatchDog Instead Of A Task Killer
WatchDog is a Task Killer but a little different. Watchdog monitors your apps and alerts when one loses control, allowing you to kill just that single app. You don't need a task killer but a way to make sure a background app doesn't lose control and eat up all your CPU.

4. Other Tips
- Use Wifi as much as possible
- Turn off Bluetooth if not in use
- Turn off GPS if you don't need it. Google Now checks your GPS frequently
- Turn off NFC if you don't use it
- Turn off Google photos sync in Gallery if you don't use it
- Uncheck any services you don't need synced for your Google account (Settings > Accounts & Sync > select your Google account).
- Uncheck Dial pad touch tones, Touch sounds, Screen lock sound, Vibrate on touch
- Adjust individual app refresh data intervals to the max that is acceptable for you
- Underclocking (If your kernel supports)
- AOKP Powersaver feature
- Solid black wallpaper (The more black in your wallpaper, the better)
- Inverted Gapps - The more the black is used the better

Here you'll be able to see some main differences between ICS and Jellybean.
As for which one is better between CM9 & CM10, you'll have to try them both. For me CM10 is much smoother and faster even when its in Alpha. Go ahead , try them and see which one works for you !

IMHO Dsp manager is definitely not useless. If I don't enable bass boost on it then I really can't hear any bass. Btw not problem with headphones. What I mean to say is without dsp manager and bass boost you will not get any bass :banghead:

just change the permissions to rw-r-r

Delete the existing one and paste the new one. But before deleting , take a nandroid backup or save the existing file on your phone

Installed, Not noticing any changes so far with video/photo quality.
Don't know about 3G speeds.
This is a tweak I came accross while browsing some threads on xda.What is does is it forces hardware rendering instead of forcing cpu to carry out all the renderings..This is all I know about it.
Tested this out and I noticed slight performance boosts.Games are a bit faster and all those frequent "hiccups" which we experience on tipo are reduced ,if not eliminated.
Works on phones with adreno200 gpus..

I can not make the CWM, gives error.
However I did the manual procedure:
Put a unzip file: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=976632&d=1333283208 in the file folder system/lib/egl/ and deleted the libGLES_android.so from egl folder.
I changed the build.prop, as the line was not added at the end dalvik.vm.dexopt-flags=m=y,o=v,u=y and recorded.
I did restart the smartphone,'ve played but honestly I do not notice improvements.
I look forward to more opinions.

Well you are right in a way..there were no improvements in the general ui fluidity..but my claim is based on the fact that the games which I tested(dead trigger , bad piggies and offload legends) were definately smoother.Lesser stutterings

I also have noticed slight performance boosts in my Xperia Tipo. But I'm not sure if this will have any negative effects in the smartphone, because I guess that Sony would have set down this option by default for a reason
P.D.: Yes, I'm not english and I probably I would have mistakes, but i hope for you can understand me!
edit: What i have done is enable the option in Settings -> Developer options -> Force GPU rendering
this script like supermacy?
ICS already using hardware rendering instead of software rendering for the default setting. you might feel drastic change if you're using GB based rom. however, if you're using ICS based rom you won't feel anything. anyway, if you want to do it in easier way, go to setting>developer option>force gpu for 2d rendering.

Force rendering is essential only for Old apps which don't use GPU. Forcing that will be effective only for those apps.
This will cause GPU to be running all time. Basic graphic tasks are handled by CPU very well. If there are lags then System uses GPU.
There may be slight performance improvement on cost of decreased battery life. So its better to leave it unmarked.

I know that you all are quite frustrated by the bugs you are facing on the ICS roms and the super lags...huff.

Always keep an eye on update number, it'll let you know if something new came up.

REQUIREMENTS:
Although it will work on any ICS baseband we have, I've provided the baseband files to increase your internal memory to 227 mb.
You can increase more but this is recommended.
Just replace the contents of this file with any of the ICS baseband's.

HOW TO INSTALL:
1. Download NightShade-Final.zip and place it on the root of SD card (preferred).
Non A5 users:
Open NightShade-Final.zip with Winrar or 7zip and replace boot.img with that of your phone (use that of any other rom or take it from CWM backup)

2. Backup your data.
3. Boot into recovery.
4. Wipe cache and Dalvik cache....If you are on TWRP then wipe System also.
Dont wipe Data/Factory reset ever.....Neither before nor after installation
5. Select 'Install zip from SD card and choose NightShade-Final.zip.
6. Now flash it.
Keep your eyes on screen during installation.

7. Now flash the File Explorer.zip
8. Repeat step 4 and reboot.
9. First boot will take much time so be patient.
9. When you see the screen, don't use yet....Reboot.
10. When the phone is booted, install root explorer, go to system/etc/init.d and delete LoopySmoothness
Now the rom is ready to be used.

There are so many features that it's too long to list but still as is customary, I'll write some in categories of awesomeness.

—Very small size of the rom - 96mb if zip and approx 155 mb of full system. So it works on any available baseband.
— Highly themed with dark appearence as is the name.
— 3 completely unique spinners.
— Increased selecter size for easy and accurate selection.
— No battery heatup during usage.
— Removed Shut down display even on selecting reboot or recovery.
Google Play
— Black Google play added to match theme.
— Multi DPI hack for Google Play to support all apps.
— Latest unofficial release.
System
— Changed touch focus color from ugly yellow to blue.
— Changed the Low battery sound.
— Changed haptic feed back intensity.
— Edited GPU files for Fluid UI.
— Changed system animation to Fade which is very fast.
— Reduced keyboard vibration intensity to save battery while typing.
— The font I used reads all character...even symbols.
— Added special buid.prop tweaks to enhance everything including battery and Network tweaks under Mods by Prateek..
— Added Camera mod for better quality.
— Added host files to disable advertisements.
— Added smooth scroll and increased scroll velocity for speed scroll
— Changed secondary font color.
— Added 30 steps in volume.
— Persistent notification in notification are blue in color...eg. Low on storage.
— Added Bravia Engine 2.
— CRT effect turned off for faster locking
Apps
— The launcher is just of 300 kb.
— Added Noozy as music player...best music player and equalizer for Android.
— Added inverterd messaging app with Rotation and Sim message working....Till now no rom has it.
— The messaging app now shows upto 6 lines while typing.....Great for message typers....now no need to scroll in those tiny places.
Scripts
— Clears cache and log on every boot.
— Enabled Vsync which is used in PC games for high graphics.
— Added battery saver script.
— Added zram, CFS and other ram management script.
— Unlike other roms and devs, I've added scripts by reading them thoroughly so that they are not repeated and work flawlessly.

Q. Which baseband should I use for this rom?
Ans. This rom is so small that it'll work on any official baseband but I've provided files which will increase your internal memory to 227mb.
Q. Where is there no Fm,clock or stock browser app?
Ans. Hardly anyone uses those so I removed them to reduce rom's size. You can use apps instead of them. Eg. Use Precision Timer in place of clock. Don't worry about the ram.
Q. I don't like the stock launcher. How to change it completely?
Ans. I have included Zeam launcher so that the rom's size become less as it's just 300kb. To replace the launcher, install titanium backup and your new launcher. Open titanium backup and long press on your newly installed launcher. Select the last option 'Convert to system app'. Now switch to your new launcher. If it works then open titanium backup and touch Zeam launcher and select uninstall.
Q. The lock doesn't appear sometimes after heavy usage./The lock screen hangs sometimes.
Ans. When after heavy usage you unlock the phone, it'll just be black even when you press power button twice or thrice. This happens because android is now compressing the open apps. The solution is- press power button and wait 2-3secs.
Q. I don't like your status bar, notification toggles or other systemUI thing. I want a one with _____
Ans. The rom was built for my taste so you may not like some part but I'll take your request into account. Post your request in this thread with all details and screenshot(if possible) and required files(if possible). Be sure to add 'REQUEST' (all caps) on the top of the post you make the request.
Q. I don't like your systemUI in any way. I want it of XYZ's rom.
Ans. Ok. Open up the rom.zip of XYZ rom with winrar or 7zip on pc/Es file Explorer or root explorer on mobile. Go into system/apps. In the apps folder, you will find an app called SystemUI. Extact and copy(Pc users) on your phone. Use root Explorer to copy the SystemUI and paste in YOUR system/app. You will see the system folder at 4th last line when you open root explorer. Check that on top it displays 'Mount R/O' or you won't be able to paste. Now reboot. Now no need to change rom for minor things.
Q. Aaaaaaah. I found a bug. What should I do?
Ans. Well this rom is free from bugs but if you say so post it here.
Q. I don't get battery backup as the pic you posted in the thread.
Ans. Calibrate your batter using app called Battery Calibration along with another app called greenify. It's the only way to get.
Q. Notification pulldown seems to lag on home screen.
Ans. The launcher I've used causes the problem. Infact any launcher will cause this which has option to bring down notification from any swipe. Means not necessary to touch status bar to drop it.
Q. Why haven't you added audio mods? Everybody is adding it.
Ans. I believe in complete freedom. Each has his own taste of music. I like surround sound with bass boost and equalizer so I use Noozy and included that. As this rom doesn't contain any other audio mod, you are free to choose what you like. It won't cause any issues. There are many mods out there- Beats audio, V4droid, Pure Audio, X-Loud and Clear audio etc.

Moreover, to support me, you can make the Night Shade logo (1st image of the thread) your signature on xda and spread it. Q. I faced a low network problem and sudden network drops which I never faced on other roms.
Ans. Might be due the mod I added...it works good for me....or due to network power of the baseband which you have used or changed the files of. Anyway, if you want to revert, go in system/etc/init.d and delete everything that has network written.
Q. Why does Noozy stays in the notification even when I completely get out of the player?
Ans. Noozy has automatic controls. It will quit itself when you are not using it. Just exit the app and forget it.
Q. Opera mini font analyzing takes forever to load.
Ans. Replace the "fonts" folder with that of XION by Akshay...
