Requires:
ROOT
Important:
Copy Android folder from internal to external first. Because its contain your game data.
Step by step:
1. Download Script Manager from Play Store
2. Download the script at attachment and put to /data using filemanager(root explorer) then change permission to 644(rw-r--r--)
3. Open script manager then choose the script
4. Select SU(bones) and save then RUN then immediately open notif bar to open Setting, check Storage.
5. If it is successfully swapping, back to script manager then select script to run at boot(gear symbol)
6. And save it then reboot your phone
7. Wait at least 30seconds till the script finished running. Then check your storage again at Setting > Storage.
8. Voila, it is done.
See the result in post #3

Nice trick

@karkand so it's just backup "Android" directory from Internal Memory to External??

One more question sir.
putting System All in One to SDCard is amazing, but isn't that SDCard will worn out soon?
I mean SD's burden so high for putting System and Data in one Place.
thanks

Yes, because game data is located in Android folder like this /sdcard/Android/data and /sdcard/Android/obb ..if you're not copy that, your game will be download game data again..
No sir, it's just swapping internal memory partition, not the /system /cache /data or another partitions..so I think, it is safe..because what? it's just swap the storage, you can read it in the script...just mount like as vold.fstab,..but I'm not playing with that, very risky..so just using script to swap external sdcard partition and internal sdcard storage partition at boot..nor the /system or /data or /cache partition..do you clear it?

Do this :
1. In terminal, type 'su' enter, then type 'cat /proc/partitions > partitions' enter, then 'mount > file' enter.
2. Look to ' /' directory then find files 'partitions' and 'file' then zip and upload here.

Your internal will be gone. And internal still at external. Because I'm not make a condition like that which is when external is removed.
You must delete that script or not run at boot of that script.

Sony Xperia Miro and others - Record/run games off the internal memory of the phone?

Good morning,
I have a Sony Xperia Miro with 2GB of internal memory available to the user, but after I realize that I record every game must go to the folder mnt / sdcard / android / data.
As already installed some games "heavy", I start to get a little limited to the internal space.
I have a 16gb class 10 card I bought to install applications and games, among outas things. The phone is already routed.
Is there any way to set default date of the reading of the games to the folder mnt / ext_sdcard / android / data (which is my external card)?
Grateful in advance to anyone who can clarify and help.
Kind regards,
Jorge Moreira

have you transfered them to the "sd card" remember that the sd card is now called internal storage and it will no longer look for items from the real internal memory
word of warning if you use this fix do not wipe internal storage from the android settings menu if you havent allready guessed then this ill wipe ur sd card with no hope of recovery

[MICROMAX A110] Alternative solutions to swapping

Hi all,
I found that some of the Micromax a110 {on stock v1 and cynus T2} users are wondering whether they should swap internal/external sd card as their internal sd card is full with awesome GAMES data.
Here i will provide three ways to give Micromax a110 more space for gaming. Strictly for root users only.
1.Internal/External swapping
This mod will swap ur internal sd with external sd. Before swapping, backup the data on both sd cards to ur pc and manually "swap" the data from each other.
Then download and extract the vold.fstab and replace the one under /system/etc by using root explorer. Then reboot and enjoy.
d-h.st/LFT
2.Mounting script
If u want to store and run game data from external sd without swapping. Mounting script is a good solution to it.
This script will mount the game data path to your external sd. In other word, it tricked ur device for redirecting the games to load data from external sd instead of internal sd.
What u need are•Script Manager - download from market for free [https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...1hbmFnZXIiXQ..
•mounting script
Create a new script file in Script manager and type the following:
(I used the Android folder as example)
Code:
mount -o bind sdcard/external_sd/Android sdcard/Android
This is for gameloft
Code:
mount -o bind sdcard/external_sd/gameloft sdcard/gameloft
After creating these, u need to cut the files in Android or gameloft from internal sdcard and paste them to the new location on external sd. Leave the original folders empty.
Remember to set them "boot" and "su" and SAVE in script manager. Reboot.
Alternatively, u can use the one I provided or create it by ur own. Extract the MOUNT external.zip and put it into ur sd card. Open it in script manager and select "boot" and "su" then save. Reboot.
If ur ROM is init.d autorun supported, just simply put the mounting script into the /system/etc/init.d folder.
3. Directory Bind tool
This is an apk created by one of our forum members, slig. This is based on the the same mounting script method. U can use it for simplicity. All credits go to the creator.
Link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...05&postcount=1
4.GL to SD
This apps created by tnslf2k is similar to the script I made and it is user-friendly. U can download it from https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...lzdGdsQXBwIl0.
For more details, see http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...53&postcount=1
That's all. Choose a way and play ur games

About xperia E memory

After i buy xperia e dual(the 2sims), i notice that this phone has phone memory 738mb, internal storage 2.01gb, and my sd 7.28gb(8gb).
The question is, can i put the games data file in the sd card? Because when i connect to pc, the internal and sd card will appear,
I test the tapsonic games and it dont work with the data file in sd card, but when i put in the internal the games works, but my internal only 2gb, it mean i cannot have many games =(
Any solutions?

i can just. tell you the keywords:
all you need just Root + Directory Bind app...
thats it, you can use your search engine from now on....
Regard,
You should try vold.fstab method instead. Its kinda smaller since im also using link2sd on my 16gb class 6. The phone memory goes over that limit because of link2sd hehe.

no, its not flashable zip. you must extract it > take that vold.fstab then replace the original one... (do a backup for it/ copy your original vold.fstab onto your sdcard)
after replace, change permission to rw-r-r-- and owner to root-root, reboot your phone n enjoy
ps: are you rooted already? its need root privilege to do it....

No. Not paste the vold file. I mean is, can you access your data from these 2 locations, where sdcard is the 2gb internal and ext_card is microsd. The vold.fstab mod switches these locations.
Sent from My Awesome Paradox ST21i
Yes i can, both is in /mnt/
Then what i need to do?
Sent from my R800i using Tapatalk 2
Okay. Good. Edit the vold.fstab via text editor. Then just switch the two. Before: dev_mount sdcard /mnt/sdcard and dev_mount ext_card /mnt/ext_card After: dev_mount sdcard /mnt/ext_card and dev_mount ext_card /mnt/sdcard --- set permissions and restart.

Sorry for the late reply. I missed your post
It's quite simple if you mean internal SD card. Downloading directly to the external SD card would require a modified vold.stab(after installing you can use a tool like DirectoryBinder to move the obb data). You need root for this!
1. Download the app Terminal Emulator from the Play Store.
2. Open it.
3. Type: su
4. Grant superuser permissions.
5. Type: pm set-install-location 2
6. Hit enter.
7. Reboot.
8. Install any app, and you'll notice it installs directly to the internal SD.
Hope this works

Using terminal command is more easier.

I tried every single one but it do not work... when I try it with adb shell, there comes "failed on Android - directory not empty"
what am I doing wrong?
Empty the folder that it claims to be not empty or try to move files using explorer. Not terminal.

[quote name="siankatabg" post=51564843]My fix is not using /data/media folder to mount SD anymore.

Let me guess, TWRP folder? Just delete it and try again.
Or just move them manually.

I also did it manually... But it does not work... I moved all files and folders to 0, when I reboot then, nothing had changed. By the way I use newest Thunderzap kernel with internal storage fix
You sure about this?
Try checking by connecting your phone to the laptop. Do you still see only 2 GB?
No. My computer shows 4gb, I don't know whats wrong
Edit:
but in settings of my phone it just show 2gb..
but when I have a look on root explorer, it shows me the internal 4gb storage. but I can´t move apps to it. And file commander shows the 4gb storage as internal storage aswell, and file comander works without root... I am so confused..
and I have to add that the 4gb internal storage is shown as "sdcard" in root explorer. The microsd card is shown there as "sdcard1"..
it shows that way only. As sd card for the internal storage. That is normal. You have access to the 4gb storage now. You can wait till someone gets that up so perfectly for the setting screen.
