About xperia E memory - Sony Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E

After i buy xperia e dual(the 2sims), i notice that this phone has phone memory 738mb, internal storage 2.01gb, and my sd 7.28gb(8gb).
The question is, can i put the games data file in the sd card? Because when i connect to pc, the internal and sd card will appear,
I test the tapsonic games and it dont work with the data file in sd card, but when i put in the internal the games works, but my internal only 2gb, it mean i cannot have many games =(
Any solutions?

i can just. tell you the keywords:
all you need just Root + Directory Bind app...
thats it, you can use your search engine from now on....
Regard,

You should try vold.fstab method instead. Its kinda smaller since im also using link2sd on my 16gb class 6. The phone memory goes over that limit because of link2sd hehe.

no, its not flashable zip. you must extract it > take that vold.fstab then replace the original one... (do a backup for it/ copy your original vold.fstab onto your sdcard)
after replace, change permission to rw-r-r-- and owner to root-root, reboot your phone n enjoy
ps: are you rooted already? its need root privilege to do it....

Which line to edit?
Sent from my R800i using Tapatalk 2

What do you see here? Its xplore file manager. Theres this storage0 (yours), sdcard and also ext_card. You need real location and real mount points. The typical for tipo and e dual (stock) is /mnt/sdcard and /mnt/ext_card. Did you do something to it?

So /mnt/sdcard and /mnt/ext_card? I will paste at both, and tell u the result.
Sent from my R800i using Tapatalk 2

No. Not paste the vold file. I mean is, can you access your data from these 2 locations, where sdcard is the 2gb internal and ext_card is microsd. The vold.fstab mod switches these locations.
Sent from My Awesome Paradox ST21i

Yes i can, both is in /mnt/
Then what i need to do?
Sent from my R800i using Tapatalk 2

Okay. Good. Edit the vold.fstab via text editor. Then just switch the two. Before: dev_mount sdcard /mnt/sdcard and dev_mount ext_card /mnt/ext_card After: dev_mount sdcard /mnt/ext_card and dev_mount ext_card /mnt/sdcard --- set permissions and restart.

[GUIDE][MOD][ICS] Swap internal and external storage

Hi All,
I managed to modify the vold.fstab in ICS to swap internal memory and external sdcard. Attached is a flashable zip file.
I actaully made a lot of changes through Root Explorer before creating this zip - so I am not exactly sure if it will work for everyone. But it most definitely works for me now. Please try and let me know.
Note:- Dont forget to take a backup of vold.fstab from /system/etc folder.
I wont go into complete details now. For more information on what it really is, below is a link to similar mod for Ginderbread. Credit to Pudup.

Here the change that was required, hit it by pure co-incidence while trying out several combinations (Don't know why this particular way worked, but who cares)
change
dev_mount sdcard /mnt/sdcard 4 /devices/platform/sdhci-tegra.3/mmc_host/mmc0/mmc0 encryptable_nonremovable
to
dev_mount sdcard /mnt/sdcard auto /devices/platform/sdhci-tegra.2/mmc_host/mmc1
And
dev_mount sdcard1 /mnt/sdcard/external_sd auto /devices/platform/sdhci-tegra.2/mmc_host/mmc1
to
dev_mount sdcard1 /mnt/sdcard/external_sd 4 /devices/platform/sdhci-tegra.3/mmc_host/mmc0/mmc0 encryptable_nonremovable

Yes, I have been on CWM 5.5 all the way and never faced this issue ... But is it really happening on 4.0.0.2? Will check at my end too and add it to OP if that is the case. And ofc I will add instructions to backup data too. Its just that I have been a little busy lately. I hope to get some time over the weekend
My memory is swapped as i'm on Neo Rom v3 which is having this feature by default.
Will my sd card gets wiped if I wipe data via CWM or if I do a factory reset?
How to swap memory again to the default mode without flashing another Rom ?

Here's the stock vold. Just rename from vold.fstab.txt to vold.fstab before using it. Anyway, what issue are you facing? Are you using CWM 5.5.0..4. Some users reported issues with older CWM. I am not much of a gamer myself. Do other users also face this issue?
When i try to download game data, game says you need 0 MB more space to download data but at that time, more than 2 GB is free.

Sony Xperia Miro and others - Record/run games off the internal memory of the phone?

Good morning,
I have a Sony Xperia Miro with 2GB of internal memory available to the user, but after I realize that I record every game must go to the folder mnt / sdcard / android / data.
As already installed some games "heavy", I start to get a little limited to the internal space.
I have a 16gb class 10 card I bought to install applications and games, among outas things. The phone is already routed.
Is there any way to set default date of the reading of the games to the folder mnt / ext_sdcard / android / data (which is my external card)?
Grateful in advance to anyone who can clarify and help.
Kind regards,
Jorge Moreira

have you transfered them to the "sd card" remember that the sd card is now called internal storage and it will no longer look for items from the real internal memory
word of warning if you use this fix do not wipe internal storage from the android settings menu if you havent allready guessed then this ill wipe ur sd card with no hope of recovery

Yes, because game data is located in Android folder like this /sdcard/Android/data and /sdcard/Android/obb ..if you're not copy that, your game will be download game data again..
No sir, it's just swapping internal memory partition, not the /system /cache /data or another partitions..so I think, it is safe..because what? it's just swap the storage, you can read it in the script...just mount like as vold.fstab,..but I'm not playing with that, very risky..so just using script to swap external sdcard partition and internal sdcard storage partition at boot..nor the /system or /data or /cache partition..do you clear it?

Do this :
1. In terminal, type 'su' enter, then type 'cat /proc/partitions > partitions' enter, then 'mount > file' enter.
2. Look to ' /' directory then find files 'partitions' and 'file' then zip and upload here.

Your internal will be gone. And internal still at external. Because I'm not make a condition like that which is when external is removed.
You must delete that script or not run at boot of that script.

All that process are in mnt folder...root your phone than you can checked
Mnt folder there are sdcard and 0 folder..op mention to move from sdcard to 0 folder...In 0 folder you'll have another sdcard that you'll paste all file...
Using terminal command is more easier.
So,, the only Bug in KK is Bluetooth?

I tried every single one but it do not work... when I try it with adb shell, there comes "failed on Android - directory not empty"
what am I doing wrong?
Empty the folder that it claims to be not empty or try to move files using explorer. Not terminal.

Let me guess, TWRP folder? Just delete it and try again.
Or just move them manually.

I also did it manually... But it does not work... I moved all files and folders to 0, when I reboot then, nothing had changed. By the way I use newest Thunderzap kernel with internal storage fix
You sure about this?
Try checking by connecting your phone to the laptop. Do you still see only 2 GB?
No. My computer shows 4gb, I don't know whats wrong
Edit:
but in settings of my phone it just show 2gb..
but when I have a look on root explorer, it shows me the internal 4gb storage. but I can´t move apps to it. And file commander shows the 4gb storage as internal storage aswell, and file comander works without root... I am so confused..
and I have to add that the 4gb internal storage is shown as "sdcard" in root explorer. The microsd card is shown there as "sdcard1"..
it shows that way only. As sd card for the internal storage. That is normal. You have access to the 4gb storage now. You can wait till someone gets that up so perfectly for the setting screen.
