Exactly,,, I finally confirmed it was a hardware failure cause, today I connected my usb otg cable and the tab just restarts or switches off which worked fine earlier
But yesterday it charged to 100 % without any problem.....I will recheck after installing stock rom....
The only problem is to wait for the samsung Service center people to fix it......:fingers-crossed:

Try stock if it's still giving you the same problem then it's the problem with your data cable..
It shows its charging but it actually doesn't.. It shows 100% but when you connect something to the tab it just shuts down saying battery low.. I had the same problem.. I just installed stock and got my cable replaced from the service centre..

Problem solved,But doesnt understand what happened

My battery percentage never got full,,Charges 20 to 30 % from existing charge and then switches off..:silly:
,,,I don't understand what caused the problem. The problem isnt data cable as you said.I changed back from stock to Sungsonic HD and after some days all problems dissappeared
its fine now . USB OTG,Charging works fine ...Thanks for your support guys.
XDA is awsome....:good:

Charging problems ! :|

Today when I connected the charger to my R it played a notification sound which is played when one connects it to a power source but then within a matter of 5 - 10 secs again it played that sound.
After that within a few mins when I left it to fully charge from 90 % it misreported me that its fully charged to 100% with a notification in the status bar which was not possible as it couldn't charge 10 percent in 5 - 7 mins. So I disconnected it and reconnected it after a few secs to find that its still charging from 90 %.
It also restarted during a call after all this.
Current conditions: I am on Indian stock kernel & ROM cause my PC has been given for repairs.
What could be the cause of the problem that I'm currently facing ?
Possible causes I could think of:
- The USB socket's soldering on the motherboard could have given way & may be loose.
- The charging circuit of my motherboard could be acting up due to unknown reasons.
Q.1 Has anyone of you faced similar issue in the past ?
Q.2 What do you think could be the cause of the problem ?
Kindly help me determine the problem as the only other option would be taking it to the SSC for a checkup.
i also faced this problem but very rare, it will show 100% once i remove the charger it will show 90%, i will reboot it and after reboot again it will start charging...
I had the same problem last week. I took it to ssc. They called it a firmware problem as always :what: but then they replaced the battery. Now I don't have that problem but my battery backup sucks now.

You should go back and ask for a new battery and tell them that this one doesn't hold the charge.
BTW in your case did the charger disconnect itself without any user input when connected to the usb port and then again without any input reconnects itself ?

yes its one of their standard procedure
if u claim about battery life first they will flash stock fw and if u still keep complaining about battery they will give u new battery. in my friends gs2 they replaced battery for 2 times yet he faced probs with battery backup so at last ssc replaced his whole motherboard

@cooleagle, 90% prob could be software related. but as u said drop of charger connection seems hardware issue, check ur charger's micro usb plug is it loose or damaged?
once this happened with me i kept my charger in bag and somehow in bag charger's micro usb plug got broken from inside and then whenever i connected my phone it was giving prob of dropping connection like u said, first i thought there is prob with phone but when i examined charger i found out plug was loose and it was giving me probs.

u can backup games file data by copying ur whole internal storage but to backup scores and progress u have backup system folder's data and it probably needs root, btw u can backup ur whole phone with cwm but u will have to do flashing on ur phone

In my case, I would put on phone on charging around 30% and after 10 min, it would show 100% done. When I disconnect charger, it would show anything like 82%, then after reboot, it would show 5% and after taking out battery and putting again, it would be back to 30-35% and then charge normally. This disconnection thing you are talking about happened with usb charging not normal charging.

My problem got resolved when I cleaned the USB port with a cleaning solution used to clean electronic boards. If you are on stock ROM & have not rooted your handset then take it to the Service center as your USB charging port could be non-functional / damaged.
But if you're rooted then clear your counter & flash the Indian 2.3.5 stock ROM before going to the service center.
Do update here when the problem is resolved.
Hope this helps.

It will most likely be the USB cable. Order a new sync cable and I'm confident that will resolve your problem.

Ahh this is another issue altogether, seen a few threads relating to this issue of dock stuck at 0%, dock should normally say 3% charge, there are methods/ ideas on fixing it, ull have to do some googling. as i dont have time atm (hint: http://www.transformerforums.com/) good luck.
If your dock battery went completely flat, there is a chance that a switch inside the dock changed state to disable dock battery charging.
Why it does this, I have no idea. But if you think you can handle opening the dock (2 screws under the back feet then slowly snap it apart from one of the back corners) and look for a switch to toggle. I am pretty sure it is the only toggle switch inside the dock.
I've got the same problem... I'll probably open it up at some point but before I do does anyone know if this could be a firmware issue? I got my tf101 and immediately started flashing stuff on it and didn't even check to see if I was running ICS. I know that there was a dock firmware update that came with ICS and I'm curious if this issue is related.

[Q] Battery problem

So mine problem stared a few months ago. First a was with stock rom ics. The charging time increased to 12 hours per charging, so i chaned the rom and thought everything was fine, but it wasn't, the tablet began to stop charging when it get to 79-80 percent. So i've changed the rom to cyanogenmod 10 and thought again that everything was ok 9 because the charging time was fine 4-6 hr), but then it began to freeze during charging, when a unplug the charger it was still showing that it was charging, even without the cable, so i've swith to stock again no root, and yesterday i was charging it for 12 hours and it was freezed to 90 percent for a couple hours, so i had to unpluged restarted a few times and left to charge for another 2 hours, so what could be the problem ?
I dont know what seems to be your problem.. but i can provide you information on my charging time.. mine charges form 0% - 100% is between 4-5 hours.. i also dont it is because of your rom.. maybe a hardware problem.. i dont know but 12 HOURS of charging? Isnt that a bit TOO MUCH? Im running stock ICS Rooted

You tell me, yes, it's a very long time, but most of the time like i said it was frozen (it didn't charge), And i've never left mine discharge to 0 , i start to charge from 10 % maybe sometimes 8 , but never 0, and still it charges more than 8 hours. i sure hope it;s not a hardware problem. How do you charge your tablet switched on ro off.

Yes, but i'm not sure it's still legal since i've rooted it. I've used the triangle away app, but im not sure it's working (for samsung i mean), i dont have the triangle anymore, but i dont' belive it will pass there checks and test.
Temperature to low Charging paused
I am receiving an error Temperature too low charging paused. I changed the battery and I get the same issue. i called samsung and they said it could be the sensor. Anyone ever fixed this and why does this happen with so many samsung products?
Will flashing it let me charge the device anyway?
Yes it would still be able to charge, but not so sure that it will fix your problems, cause it did not fixxed mine, after a few flashings with different roms i still got this problem, still gets till 87% and it just stops charging, till i dont remove the charger and restart a couple of times

Reset the custom bin flash counter by TriangleAway(select SGS2) and then reflash stock ICS 4.0.4. If you do that, you must have warranty.
Edit: Look to down. mode if you haven't got any flash counter, only reflash stock ICS.

I've already done that, but unfortunatly the service that manages my tablet in bulgaria swithes the parts of the phones and tablets that are in service, and steals some parts sometimes and this is a very big and known company in my country, i know that from an internal source, that works in one of their branches, well not in the service division, but still, they communicate with them. So do not come in my country or you will be pretty much ..... well you know.

Warranty!!

Hey guys
Im gonna take advantage of my warranty and repair my phone but first i want to know something. I flashed CM11 and then reflashed original firmware. I didn't used any "triangle away" or other software to downdrade to original....just odin. Is there any way that Samsung will know that i used other software? Is there any way to find out if the counter meter changed?
I ask this because i have a bug. If i plug out the charger or USB cable the phone still shows that the cable is pluged in either on USB or charger!!!
Can someone help?
what about bootloader

Try re-flashing stock rom once again.
Otherwise, i don't think it would be that big problem. I've had several visits at service center and the people there were completely dumb ! lol

Ok...so yesterday received the phone from Samsung's service center and they said like this...changed the usb load module, changed battery and resofted the phone. And the problem is no more.

H950 Wont Turn On

I Have been using the H950 AT&T since almost a year now .3 months back the phone stopped to boot up or was in an boot loop .It worked only when plugged in .So I replaced the battery And it worked fine.
But from last week the phone has been dead completely .If I plug it in it sometimes shows an battery with a question mark inside a triangle other wise it's always lights off.
