Just purchased.
Really can't quibble about 59p considering all the amazing rom development you do for free

It does not work with theme launcher. Sweep2disable on homescreen activates the button actions. While locked it works as it should.

Very nice App. like it.

Reboot problems.
Is it just me, or does it stop working on reboot?

Excellent
This feature - wakelock during phone call only, for lazy proximity sensors out there - is exactly what I was looking for when I placed the request to the dev. :highfive:
I can't do this, but this NEEDS to be somehow linked to the thread Re: Proximity sensor issues for SGS2 users. IDK if I am allowed to link to a different thread on this forum, I will leave this to the moderators/op.
Excellent work, darken. And thank you again for listening.
Just uploaded 2.1 to fix some inconsistent behavior.
If you this helps other people, just post the link of this thread in the other one, you are allowed to .
Mods usually don't look through the threads unless they are flagged/reported.
Dear Darken,
I am sorry to contact you, I can't find "wakelock during phone call only", I have V2.1 downloaded a few minutes ago. I have a broken proximity sensor so currently screen goes blank and can't get it back.
regards
ANDREW
Check the options menu .
Thank you
I have an HTC HD2 running Android 4.04 2.6.32-ics_tytung_HWA_r3.
I have tried all combinations from "NO_LOCK" with "Acquire/release lock before/after call" set on and off to "FULL_WAKE_LOCK" with "NO_LOCK" with "Acquire/release lock before/after call" set on and off. And it appears that the first call I make holds the screen on (which it what I need), but if I terminate...and made another call the screen does not stay on.
I know I'm not a techy, am I doing something stupid?
All I need is for my screen not to go off during a call. Can you help?
Regards
ANDREW
If you aquired the wakelock before, then make a call and drop it, it will release the wakelock previously held.
I might write a patch to check if the wakelock was active before making the call and then not releasing it afterwards.
edit: but in that case you wouldn't need the call aquire/release setting anyways and could just turn it off... won't change that then
At least on my Galaxy Nexus, the screen turns off if i cover the proximity sensor.
So it seems the proximity sensor overrides the wakelock behavior.
Thank you for this.
I am using it to stop SODs on my Iconia A100.
I've been searching and cannot a description on what and how each option works. Some of them are simple as the wifi always being on, but I was wondering if you could provide detail on some of the others?

G2x-temasek CM7 build135.4 w/faux 054 kernel
Thanks for this app, It's partially working in my Nexus 7. The big problem is that the physical buttons (power an volume) don't work anymore!! even after reboot (to reboot I had to install a widget that includes a reboot button). No matter what configuration (NO_LOCK or FULL_WAKE_LOCK) they don't answer. Although KeynumberTracker app detects when they are pressed. Tried unnistalling Wake Lock, also didn't work.
The device is rooted with this script and it has Android 4.2. Previously I installed ButtonRemapper (just in case you think it can be a conflict with it) which anyway doesn't seem to work in nexus 7.
WakeLock has nothing to do with buttons, working or not.
In that regard, it might be able to keep the screen on so you wouldn't need a power button.
is it OK on Lollipop
Will this still work with the new Lollipop v5.1
Deep sleep = no Push. Fixed with this app.
OK I can now answer my own question: Yes it does
-with Lollipop v5.1.1 and its new Doze & ultra Deep Sleep, Push was disabled until I installed Wakelock - Power Manager.
My Note2 lte with its Wifi on and connected and mobile data off, has a habit of going into deep sleep after several hours of no interaction and no movement for the proximity sensors to sense, then only phone calls and texts can wake the phone up; WhatsApp messages, WhatsApp calls, and Emails, do not get through at all until I wake it up, OK the battery life is fantastic but I would prefer that I could be contacted by i.e. WhatsApp when I haven't been to my phone for hours. And yes I have installed Push Notification Root (PNF) but this is not the answer for me.
Deep sleep no Push; is fixed by using this App. and putting it to partial wake lock. :highfive:
Good app, thank you!

Hello everyone ! Here we go for a small story :
Nowadays, your device has bluetooth, wifi, adaptive brightness and a lot of other settings. I was tired to switch between screens to enable or disable them one by one.
That's why I created μTask which automate this process. µTask allow you to create a task for each app which will be applied when you launch the app.
There is a bunch of possibilities :
- Brightness auto/manual
- Media volume default/manual
- Mobile data on/off
- Wifi on/off
- Bluetooth on/off
- GPS on/off (beta)
- Synchronization on/off
And if your device is rooted, you can enjoy more features (depending of your kernel) :
- CPU governor
- Maximum CPU frequency
- Minimum CPU frequency
- IO scheduler
- Read ahead buffer
- TCP congestion algorithm
- High audio performances on/off
- High wifi performances (wifi_pm) on/off
DOWNLOAD
For those who are unable to access the google play store, the apk is available in the download section
Keep in mind that it's still a BETA !
TODO LIST
Here are the features which needs to be implemented or the bugs to solve.
- Brightness default mode (fixed)
- Sync on/off (fixed)
- Reset parameters individually (fixed)
- Fix brightness bug (waiting for feedbacks)
- Data on/off bug (waiting for feedbacks)
- GPS background toggle (using root and secure settings) (investigating)
- GPS bug (investigating)
- Screen rotation (todo)
- Screen timeout (todo)
- Separate volume toggle (todo)
- Xposed system hook (todo)
- Event on jack plugged (todo)
- Event for battery (todo)

Cool concept.. Lightweight at the moment... Adding screen rotation would be really useful.
Need option to wait for Bluetooth or Wi-Fi to settle before starting associated app.

I will take a look for your suggestion. But it could be difficult because a non-system app can not enable/disable the gps in background.
However, I can develop a parameter for the gps settings window opens when you launch the application. Does it seems correct for you ?
For the Motorola 2013 Droid, when you ask Touchless control to read the notifications, the volume is really low. But Touchless control is not a standalone app, it's embedded in the settings of the device. Will the "media volume on/off feature in this app help solve the problem?
Ps. I like the idea of this app, it sounds like Motorola's smart action!
Sent from my XT910 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Can you explain how this is different and not less functional than Tasker?
Suggestion: Select a language
I usually want my phone to be in English, but for one particular app, I would like to use a different language (G+ -> German). Do you think that's possible?
Would it be possible to make it hook to the device settings through Xposed, so that a service in the background isn't required for those who have it installed?

Separate volume toggles, ringer from media from notifications.

I just added an option to toggle the GPS (on/off). However, due to Android, non-system app are not allowed to toggle it in background. That's why when the user will open the app, the settings will open to toggle the gps.
For those who want details : http://stackoverflow.com/a/5481752
Moreover, I solved a big issue with mobile data switch.
Enjoy
PS: the update could take time to appear in the Google Play, updated apk is available in the download page

[APP][ROOT] AutoTrim V2.65 (fstrim) [19-06-2017]

DISCLAIMER: I'm not responsible for any damage to your device!
- ROOT REQUIRED -
AutoTrim helps to restore the performance of your internal sdcard on your phone by trimming the filesystem (fstrim).
With AutoTrim you can set the time you want your phone's filesystem to be trimmed. When the time has been reached the app waits for an display on event, after that it will wait 5 seconds before trimming. The display on event is used because of problems with Dorimanx kernel (LG G2) and trimming when phone is sleeping. It can result in a Screen Of Death (SOD),
The app should work on all phones who's rom/kernel support the command 'fstrim'.
ANDROID VERSIONS:
Works with:
- Android 4.0+
- Android 6.0 Marshmallow
- Android 7.0 Nougat
- Android 7.1.2 Nougat
SCHEDULE:
The scheduler will once a day at your specified time. For example you set 6.0 which means 6 o clock in the morning. At 6 o clock AutoTrim will wait for an display on event, after that it will trim your chosen mountpoints. The next day it will run again.
TRIGGERS:
With triggers you can control the automation of the trimming. When you set the boot trigger, it will trim at boot, simple as that. Same for the rest of course.
LOGGING:
In the top right corner there is an setting icon, there you can enable Write log to file. This allows you to monitor the behavior of AutoTrim and how much it trims everytime. The file is saved on the root of the SDcard /sdcard/AutoTrim_log.txt.
Q&A:
Q: Textsize is too small.
A: You can change the textsize in settings, click on settings icon in the right top. Because the app is made with Tasker i cannot test multiple resolutions.
When you have any questions about AutoTrim, feel free to contact me through mail. If you like AutoTrim i would like to read that in a review

Maybe but DorimanX did not implement it because it's useless. Maybe android support is available but lacks implementation

Idk you can try to type 'fstrim' in terminal to see what the output is. Or just install and hope it works. Don't know what messages it will generate if not supported.

How about to wait for screen off event. when time is come and if screen off is pushed it dimms the screen and run ftrim then turn off realy. So it could prevent to slow down system when phone is needed and that's mostly the case when switched on [emoji16]
I don't know if it's possible and that idea is no bull**** [emoji13]
Anyway good work! THX
PS Dori DID implement it but it as we know it was forcing bugs when running while system is asleep.

Can be a plausible thing, we can try because it takes a bit of time before system gets sleepy. But does the system slow down right now? I don't feel it when it's running fstrim.
We can try of course and see if it's working, but Iam not a mastermind it that stuff.

Version 1.7.0- 26 of Aug, 2016
Version 1.4.0- 29 of July, 2016
Sprint 1.80 base version
Features:
- Button Light Notification (see video below, only works if Ambient Display is not active)
- Notification double vibration pattern detection based Button Light Notifications (works now even while charging!)
- "Endless BLN while charging" + "Notification vibration length based two types of blinking pattern for BLN" features
- KCAL Color Control (see video below, credit to @savoca)
- Fingerprint doubletap sleep (see video below)
- Gradient battery charging led turning from amber to green based on battery level percentage, then at full charge it starts to smoothly change from full bright green to golden and the back to full green cycling, signalling 100% battery for easy spotting
- Fading notification led fading/pulsating type notification LED blinking
- Upper grill RGB LED light brightness level you can lower the brightness level of the upper grill RGB led now (use ICE configurator/LeeDroid tweaks latest version to config!)
- Adrenoboost version 2.2 - smooth gaming, battery friendly, fixing GPU handling of stock HTC kernel -- battery friendly conservative governor. Three levels (1 is the most battery friendly), and off state. ICE configurator / LeeDroid settings should handle it soon (thanks @flar2 for the original idea)
- Fastcharge for USB 2.0 -- PC's, Laptop's will now be able to charge your phone (bumping 0.5A draw to 1A from USB2.0 port, retaining the data connection all working)
- Backlight dimmer not on by default, check second post for sysfs paths for your scripts, or use ICE configurator/LeeDroid tweaker - Full credits to @flar2
- Sweep2sleep Full credits to @flar2
- DriveDroid support - Mounting of ISO (ReadOnly/ReadWrite) images to your PC for storage or booting them on PC
- Sound Control Headphone Gain Full credits to @flar2
- NTFS/ReadWrite
- Sony HID input device support (thanks @flar2)
- Wifi Wakelock reduction patch by @buckmarble
- Supporting 1.30 and 1.5x, 1.80 bases. Tested on EU 1.30/tw 1.55 bases/1.80/1.90 basses.
- Hacked texfat/modcrypto loading for all ROM bases to work with sdcard
- doesn't modify system partition. Androidpay should work on phones with stock system image
Facts:
- no root required except if you need it for tweak apps, otherwise only twrp
- recommended tweak app: ice configurator by Baadnewz if you want to set fingerprint double tap sleep and bln parameters (very useful and detailed settings), and trickster mod but only required for tcp congestion settings. But the default settings should be fine for most users, no need to set up, except install kernel and profit
- built from htcdev sources released for base Sprint 1.80.651.1
- build with standard toolchain
- kept stable, no tweakings, just features
- stable and reliable, keeping close to stock except addition of Usability features
ButtonLightNotif
BLN only will appear if your phone is screen off, and not being charged (or you use a custom ROM with notifications led while charging). Once you switch screen on the BLN will go off, till next new notification arrives while screen is off.
BLN is not working with ambient display mod, as that turns screen on instantly.
Doubletap Fingerprint scanner to sleep:
Gradient charging LED and pulsating notification LED video:
Chromatic gradient colors for battery percentages, check attached img
Adrenoboost v2.2 framerate level boosts (sampled in Suicide Squad):
Requirements
- Unlocked HTC 10 with TWRP
-- Please report back! I don't have sprint device!
- BACKUP: make sure you backed up your original Boot partition in TWRP, before installing this!
- INSTALL: Side load, or install the zip from your sdcard through TWRP
Known bugs:
- None, please tell
- Smaller issue: when using fingerprint mod, and you quickly switch the screen on, and after wrong fingerprints pattern should appear, it only works when starting from a screen off state.

it's already in the kernel by HTC. Just use e.g. ICE configurator, Kernel tab, or other tweak apps

Does this include the home button?
You see, on BadBoyz, if I disable vibration, the home button doesn't vibrate.
However, after flashing this kernel, the vibration of the home button returns, yet does not touch the other vibrations.

for this you can use the ICE configurator, Home button vibration strength to finetune it.
Because of how the doubletap fingerprint sleep works in cleanslate kernel, this is how it could be resolved.

Running this on BadBoyz ROM and working great! Love the notification light and everything seems smoother. Been using the 2nd highest GPU booster and battery life is actually fine. What governor do you recommend?

Power menu controls
Android 11 has a power menu which is mostly used for home controls. But if you are not using any smart home appliance, the space is basically wasted.
This app adds handy device toggles to the space.
Examples:
Rotation lock
Wake lock
Screen timeout
Brightness toggles
Media volume toggles

The app will be evolved to add more controls. Let me know of any additional suggestions!

No. No way to properly enable airplane mode with or without root.
useless on Samsung does not work on the menu button how to add
Thank you. Makes the otherwise useless Power menu much more interesting.
I dont want to point out the obvious, but all those things are available from the notification shade....who is going to make it harder to reach them by pressing a button to get at them?

All these are NOT available in the Quick Tiles on a standard Google ROM. For example, Wake Lock & Volume. Also, the dev is asking for suggestions, so YOU could ask for something that is not available as a quick tile.

A. A11 power menu has useless space already, so this makes it useful
B. Power button is easier to reach than pulling down the quick settings
C. Dev wanted to make it, so he did xD
Nice app!
I would like to launch apps, like GCAM and standard Camera in selfie mode (using a shortcut or an intent).
(It may be possible to use Tasker for this.)
One use case is to do actions without unlocking the phone (gloves, sweaty fingers etc).
The behavior on My Sony Xperia 5 ii if the phone is locked is that I need to enable flashlight, then the lockscreen opens and I have to press the Power once to turn off the screen before the flash turns on.

I love the features added. But since you ask
The wake-Lock is commonly labeled as "Caffeine" in the custom ROMs I have used before (its normally featured as a QuickTile)
The Caffeine feature normally allows some default break-points in time for when it will automatically turn off. eg 5min, 10min, 30min or never.

Hello, great app I have only two notes.
Please add possibility to keep default brightness in WAKE LOCK mode (I use Mi A3 based on Android ONE and with button active it keeps screen awake, but after some time screen dimms)
Another point is to add button which would turn on MAX BRIGHTNESS (very helpful in some cases) and.. if possible such button would switch off/on AUTOMATIC BRIGHTNESS button simultaneously, or simply restore default system AUTOMATIC BRIGHTNESS settings after switching off the button.
