Hi there, this is my first post here, so if I leave out any important info just let me know and I'll provide
Anyway, I looked around a bit and saw no support for this model, so here we are.
I live in Israel and I bought the Casio G'zone CA-201L (Android OS, v4.0.4) a few days ago on E-bay from South Korea, which is the only place where you can get this phone, and I've been having some trouble connected to the foreign-ness of the phone. I'd really appreciate any help i can get. all the phone specs are at gsmarena(dot)com/casio_g'zone_ca_201l-5384.php
my main problem is that my sms messages are messed up - most people receive my messages as strange characters (something like this: ₳ᾆᾊίἚẹṡṠ) and some don't receive them at all. The only phone that received the messages OK was a Samsung Galaxy SIII. the text was messed up on a Nokia Lumia 620, Sony Ericsson Hazel and a Blackberry (not sure what model), while an Alcatel OneTouch 918 didnt get anything at all.
I cant figure out anything on the phone to fix this problem and honestly am willing to try anything, even replacing all the software on the phone, to fix this. any suggestions?

I think I posted this in the wrong place earlier:
A friend just bought a tablet here in China preloaded with Android 2.1. Its setup to be used in China, which has given me problems in the past on my Android phone. Is there anyway to go about updating it to the new version of Android and maybe even getting rid of the Chinese app store and adding flash support (right now it says the device doesn't support it, even though it looks like it meets requirements)? You guys have been helpful in the past so thanks in advance for any advice.

And yes, i realize they are all china phones, but hey, the chinese android epad works better then the motorola xoom in my opinion.....

Hi,
I live in China and I am looking to root my girlfriends Z3. She recently got a Sony smartwatch and needs the app to go with it, unfortunately it needs the Play store to run and that is blocked on Chinese phones.
I have found a lot of rooting guides and it looks pretty simple, the only problem is that they all state they are for versions D6xx whereas her version is L55u (which is the China Unicom version).
Is there a way round this? Will the methods for the D6xx versions work on this version?
