1. Do you have the correct bootloader?
2. Why can't you access TWRP? What happens when you try?

Thank you for the prompt reply, I figured it out the problem was with the volume button managed to boot to twrp and the boot loop was caused because my twrp version was 2.3.3.0 and my old asus bootloader I thought I can flash roms just like my nexus 4 and paniced when it didn't work again thank you
Another lucky miss. On the TF300 you'd now be bricked. Consider yourself lucky
I wish people would read before flashing stuff willy nilly.

So i got a new T F 300T yesterday and wanted to root it today.
I unlocked it and rooted it successfully. But then I tried installing a recovery. Installed CWM using fastboot. tried booting into it using RCK. It says booting into recovery mode and just reboots to OS. Installed CMW touch, same problem. Installed TRWP since i read that cmw has some problems. Now i used the 1 click root 1.1 to boot into recovery mode. The device now keeps rebooting. IT starts on the asus screen, then reboots again. So im stuck in a boot loop. When I press vlm dwn +power, it doesnt give me a menu anymore , instead it says that its rebooting into recovery mode and reboots again. Im freaking out right now, anyway to recover my device? Or is it 400 bucks down the dran? I dunno why this happened , since i am not new to flashing ROMs and stuff, and ususally test out new ROMs using my GNex. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Hi there, sucks to hear what happened..
I believe you haven't put in enough research, ASUS has a publicly available unlocker for the 300T, why did you use a 3rd party root app?
Can you still boot Android? If you have root and your recovery partition is broken, there should still be a way to overwrite the recovery partition.
If not, this basically looks like a brick, unless you can hook up a debugger during the boot process somehow.
Someone with in-depth knowledge of this device might be able to help you out further, I'm just theorycrafting here.. Best of luck!
I would try using fastboot to reflash stock firmware, which you can download from the Asus website.
You could also try getting into APX mode and using nvflash to reflash it.

Hi. I had endless issues last night trying to install a nightly build of Cyanogenmod 10.2 on my Asus tf300t. Long story short, after the CM update from within android, the recovery mod (CWM) had trouble mounting the sd card. I then flashed the latest version of TWRP and tried to update the bootloader by installing the latest firmware from asus, at this point everything went well. Back to the updated bootloader, I tried to install the nightly CM and still got mounting problems so again, I tried switching between TWRP and CWM. Now, I'm suck. I cannot get passed the asus boot logo: after a few seconds, it falls back to the recovery mod (I may have wiped the newly installed system). At any point, holding power+vol-down has no effect, I cannot get into the bootloader menu and enable fastboot. Only thing I have left is access to CWM and access the device via ADB. Can anyone recommend me a course of action?
Also, I'm trying to get one thing straight: what is actually needed to install a recent version CM? There seems to be some intricate dependencies between the bootloader version you're using along with the version of the recovery mod and the CM / android you're about to install. (If anyone can clarify this for me, it would be really appreciated).
Any suggestion regarding any ways on how I could recover my device will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

"Bricked" seems to be oftenly abused around here. Having ADB access and being able to boot into CWM, isn't there anything I can do to enable fastboot, force a bootloader downgrade or something?
Thanks!

Moral of this story: "bricked" really is an abused word around here. For anyone in my situation, namely: stuck in a boot loop where power+volume down has no effect and thus is preventing access to fastboot, if you still have adb access, you can issue: adb reboot bootloader, it should at least allow you to access the bootloader again and from there, fastboot. The above linked post really was helpful. Thanks!

"ricked" may be abused, but I don't understand your situation very well, much less how you extricated yourself from it. If you're in a boot loop, you cannot complete the booting process (much like a tab with bootloader, recovery, but no OS installed). Without it, you have no access to ADB. Which in turn doesn't allow you to issue ADB commands. If additionally, you have no access to fastboot because volume down+power, and/or reset+volume down, does nothing (bootloader with icons absent), you cannot issue fastboot commands. Without the two, and the uselessness of APX mode, I'm not sure why that's not characteristic of a soft brick.
I have a mainboard that shows nothing but the initial Asus logo (not the one with boot animation, i.e., spinning dots) and "the device is unlocked." If I use either fastboot or ADB from PC, it returns with "waiting for device..." You were in the same boat, were you not? Looks like part of the firmware is still there (I assume if you replace the nand with a brand new, blank one, nothing would show up on display) , but the bootloader is messed up. If you'd succeeded in resurrecting your tab, then how do I rectify it, if you care to enlighten? Thank you in advance.
Hi, Im trying to install cm 11.0 on my tf 300t, im trying to install TWRP. The boot loader is unlocked and the device is rooted. I tried get into the fast boot menu but cant. I hit Power and vol down and get into a new screen with a row of 3 icons. I see the RCK and hover over the button for 5 sec... nothing happens. I waited for 5 min an nothing happened. I then tried to hit the volume up button but that fails and re boots me into the OS. Im running 4.2.1. Is there a Fix for this problem? Can I install TWRP another way? (maybe through ADB?) Thanks

The first time you install TWRP, it should be through ADB (fastboot). Flash it from your computer. After that, you will be able to flash ROMs from the recovery menu on the tablet.

AHAHHAHAHA IM SO STUPID xD. On android 4.2.1 you dont get a message, you can just send the file over through adb. Nothing happens if you hover over the screen. Thanks for the help.
Now I have another problem, both TWRP and CWM don't have access to any files. They still boot up, but they don't have the ability to install or find any files or create logs. Im getting the errors saying nothing can mount.

Did you flash the 4.2 TWRP file? CWM has no version that woks with the 4.2 bootloader, except for the one in the flatline.img for NVFlash. If you flashed the regular TWRP recovery by mistake, follow the instructions here to recover, and start all over again. Remember to choose the correct recovery.

Ok, so i'm assuming I need the openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.0-tf300t-4.2.blob file. I DO have access to fastboot, can I just flash over the other Twrp recovery installed? Or do I have to follow the steps at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=44244313&postcount=12 ? Thanks.
So I ended up flashing the blob file, and it did work. But when I tried installing CM11 I got an error and it shut down. Now I had a boot screen of the ASUS logo, flashing on/off every 20 sec. BUT I did make a backup, and was able to restore the system from that. Can anyone tell me what I have to wipe/do to install CM 11 on the tf300t? Or even cm 10.2 if its easier.
some (maybe) useful info
- I can boot into fastboot
- I can boot into the OS
- I do have a backup in case anything goes wrong
- I have twrp 2.6.3

I successfully installed CM 10.2 But I cant get CM11 working, anyone want to share how they got CM 11? Thanks
I have a nexus 5.
16GB model.
5.1.1
Rooted.
TWRP 2.8.6.1
I was about to flash CM 12.1 .
I pressed wipe but it froze, I left it that way for about an hour and decided to research about what is happening. A lot of comments on some thread I read said that turning it off and then on worked for them and I did the same. Now all I get is a flashing Teamwin logo. The only accessible feature of the phone is the Power off/Start/Bootloader/Restart Bootloader thing-y. Whichever of them I press I get the flashing Teamwin logo.
Just wait it takes awhile

Well you still have access to the bootloader luckily. Best part about a Nexus is that they're difficult to actually brick. Boot your phone into the bootloader and either fastboot flash recovery to reinstall twrp or use fastboot to reflash the stock system images.

Thanks man, that's exactly what I needed. I tried to re-flash TWRP but had the same problem but when I flashed the stock system images everything went back to normal.

Glad I could help, and that your phone is up and running again.
Take care.
Today I had a strange issue with my Oneplus 7 pro GM1913 running OOS 9.5.5, device unlocked, twrp and rooted. My device ran out of charge and was turned off. When I plugged into the charger, it boots up and for a few second the oneplus logo and charge the device for some time page came in and then the bootloader unlocked screen came in. I haven't charged the device offline after the battery ran out, it was my first time and i thought it was supposed to be like that. But after some time also it was on the same page. Then i plugged out the device and it was stuck on that page. I tired hard reboot, tried to connect to computer. Nothing was successful. Computer showed unknown device and failed to successfully connect. Not recognised as adb device shown nor fastboot device. Then atleast I tried entering into fastboot mode by pressing power button + volume up. At that time it rebooted into system and then everything was okay. But then i noticed i also lost the twrp recovery. Then i had to flash twrp through magisk manager.
Anyone has any idea what happened? Thanks in advance
You have to flash magisk again after flashing TWRP.

I got stuck there once I was trying to flash twrp somehow. Same fix
Stuck at the bootlogo
Hey guys, i hope i get some help from here.. tried to root my one plus 7 pro international version installed twrp everything worked fine... and after that i tried to reboot in system mode.. now im stuck at the bootlogo with the red middle dot and the 2 white ones. i cant even turn it of now.. no command are working... can anybody help me to fix this pls?
Thanks!!!
I had exactly the same problem. System was running fine with just Magisk installed (I boot TWRP with fastboot on a computer).
Then I ran completely out of charge, and the OP7Pro wouldn't boot anymore: at power on, it shows briefly the OnePlus logo, then displays the boot loader unlocked warning for a very long time (a few minutes), then goes to the bootloader menu.
I can boot TWRP and unlock the data partition. I will try flashing the stock boot and see what happens (and report).
Edit: I had to reflash stock boot and system to have the device boot again.
hi guys, please need help;I have just unlock bootloader on my one plus 7 pro and i was fastboot it with twrp img but i didn't install the twrp recovery one my phone so now the phone blocked on de bootloader unlock screen, I tried to switched of but always back on the same screen, please need help how to do ,thanks

I figured it out. basically when i get to the above attached image I was required to hold volume up+down+power key until the fastmode doesn't comes up. It will take 20-25 seconds. So you will be required to hold it for that long.
