I love this battery and was wondering if clearing my battery stats would it help android read the battery percent battery sometimes the battery % will go up and when it gets to 2% the battery % will hang there for a wile. Would doing that help at all?

So I was charging my Sensation and 4 hours later it was on 72% and noticed in the battery log the line was starting to dip. So I then took the battery out of the phone and put it back in only to find its now fully charged.
Defective battery or is my phone reading the battery stats wrong?
Battery life has been lasting 8 hours with normal use which is terrible.
Any ideas?

My new battery dies when it has 5% left i have been reading to calibrate it. What way should I calibrate the battery software or clockwork mod???? Thanks in advance i am rooted and am using AndroidRevolutionHD. I have used the battery calibration from the market but it seems like my battery is draining in 2% intervals. Is there any other software I could use or can what is your alls recommendation

Calibrate it the old way. Let it completely die and then let it charge for 8-10 hours. Make sure the phone is off while charging. Do that twice and that should calibrate battery. Also look on the market for a battery widget that way you can find out what is draining your battery.

Is there any special way in which I have to charge it, or is it the same?
Should I delete my old battery stats?

Charge it just like the previous one. Just allow it to complete the full cycles. Don't charge it unless your battery is low.

My suggestion is to fully drain your battery and then fully charge it without distraction. Do this for 2-4 times so that your battery will be fully calibrated. There's no need to wipe battery stats but you can do it if you want.
My original battery was swollen so i replaced it with a i9000 battery which is 1500 mah but i have been getting a really bad battery life it drops 1 percent every 15 mins and i need to charge my battery again middle of the day. I am using cm 10.2 alpha 4 right now.I attached my battery stats, battery stats from battery doctor app and my about phone screen shot. Let me know if you know my problem and if you need more information.
Note: I have to use a i9000 battery because it's the only battery that fits my phone i could find here
