Hey guys. I was wondering if anybody has had luck removing bubbles from the glas t slim screen protector on the S4. I don''t think they are air bubbles. It looks like I have something under the screen protector. The odd thing is that this part of the phone didn't have any lint, and i used scotch tape to make sure. Now I was under the impression that the screen protector shouldn't come off.. Would it be okay to take a little bit of it off and try to remove the bubble, or will that mess up the adhesive? Keep in mind i just put it on today so it could resolve over a couple days. I don't have a pic of the exact bubble, but here is what it looks like, but smaller:

Those look like spider cracks under the glass not sure what happened if u removed it to get it out mite not stick back on the glass screen protectors r tricky to reapply

I had a similar smudge. If you search the web you will find lot's of comments like above that they don't recommend removing the glass, as it may not stick when reapplying. But I took mine off last night, washed it under the sink, and then reapplied. The dirt is gone (the smudge), and seems to stick just fine.
If you use your finger nail under a corner, the screen will start to come off. Work it real slowly, and it will come off very easily. As for the cleaning, I never touched the sticky side of the protector. I just ran it under as much pressure as I could get out of my faucet and the dirt was washed away. I shook the protector (holding it by the edges) to get most of the water droplets off, then worked the rest of them out once the protector was back on the phone.
The screen is perfectly clean now. It takes a bit of time to work out all the bubbles (both air and water), but keep working them towards a side or corner and they will all come out.
^ hes right. When I had the glas t, I took it off too many times and just washed it. Lol. It will stick as long as you take it off without chipping the edge.

I was able to get the bubbles out! I applied pressure onto the areas surrounding the bubble to kind of readjust the adhesive. Took a while but worked out

Today was the first day that I really cleaned my screen on transformer. I have had for three weeks and am very careful with it. Today I noticed a centimeter sized scratch in the middle. Here is my question. I am a hella lot rougher with my droidx and it never gotten a scratch on the screen. The droid x I have now is about 6 months old still nothing. Aren't they supposed to have the same screen. Gorilla glass I think. Did anyone else notice a scratch on theirs? I can't return it because I got it from Tiger Direct. Honestly it ins't a big deal I am just picky. I do have one coming from amazon this week though. Hmm...

Anyone else?
I bet its not a scratch, as I've thought the same thing before. Take your nail and put it over a microfiber cloth, then try to scratch it off. I bet its build up

If it is a scratch, you need to think about removing your Mr. T gold bling jewellery before you use your tablet. Diamonds, etc don't play nice with gorilla glass.
If you only noticed the scratch AFTER you had cleaned the screen, could be that you scratched it with the cleaning cloth.
I don't wear jewelry.
It's really a scratch too. I tried scraping it off with my finger nail. I honestly have no clue how I got it. Maybe they don't use as thick as screen as my droid x. I really baby my transformer and bam a scratch.

I doubt it. I actually used wipes made for electronics. I meant as in its the first time i got rid of my finger prints.
I also had a tiny scratch in the center of mine that I did not notice until I turned it off and cleaned it. Everything else came off the screen. It also was in the middle of the screen. Mine was only a day old, so I called BJ's Wholesale and returned it. I wouldn't have cared if it was anywhere else on the screen. It was so small it was hard to tell if it was a scratch or possibly an imperfection under the screen. I am hoping my next one won't have the same thing.
See, to those people who say "Gorilla Glass doesn't scratch"!
Still need a screen protector.

I was a firm believer of that because my droid x never had a scratch.
So i'm guessing no but can this be covered under asus' warranty?
Probably not because it isn't a manufacturing defect.

Didn't think so.. Still might try. The body cracks like when I hold it. I noticed it from using it in the sun. It heated up and got loose. I don't know if you know what I mean but it is like it melted the glue.
Hi all just thought i would give a small review on the SGP Spigen Ultra Oleophobic screen protector, to help any one out there make a decision if this would be good or not for them.
Contents
2 screen protectors
1 squegee
1 cloth
So ill go through the main points:
*Price : I paid $19.95 on eBay ( Australian prices ) this for me was not a large price to pay as ive used their products before and i know the quality that comes with them and what you get for your money. (two screen protectors )
*Ease of install : I found it super easy to install ive done it many time before... but if you guys need help this link will help.
*Once its on how does it fit? : fits great with 2 mm clearance around the front ear speaker and camera also it does not go down the sides... i liked the fact that it did not go down the curved sides because on my gs3 the screen protector would lift on the edge and then dirt would get underneath and make it look really bad.
*How does it feel? : the nexus 4 screen is the smoothest screen I have ever touched so naturally when I put the screen protector on that smoothness decreased not by much but I do feel a small grab every now and then when I my hands perspire or get clammy. Ive also noticed a small grab from the edge of the screen protector when swiping from the side ( but this was to be expexted ).
Other then that feel great.
*How does it look ? : clear , no rainbow , no blue tint , and no deformed spots or dust particles stuck in the screen protector as some cheaper once I had found have.
This is also not a matt screen protector so when in the sun it does mirror a little, but not to much more then what it was without the screen protector.
Another note is you do notice the sides of the screen protector because they dont go all the way to the sides but i would rather this then what i mentioned before.
so now for pics

You miss the main point..
how is the oil resisting ability of it?
I have not had any issues with it collecting oil or greese on the screen protector. Sorry sort of missed that part. None issue so I forgot to mention it.

I bought one of these and it was the hardest time I've ever had installing a screen protector. It is just barely wider than the screen so there is no room for error, and once I got it to match up with the screen, it was a little over the edge so it was lifting. I ended up just getting frustrated with it and going naked.

I just got this case a few days ago, and I love it!! I'm wondering how you clean the black part though, I notice that you put it in any non super clean surface and it the black back gets smudged. See picture below, I've tried cleaning it with a micro cloth but it doesn't help much, i'm afraid to use any liquid, any suggestions?? Also I noticed that after a couple of days, the area around the camera and led flash is raised, not touching the back cover of phone, i didn't notice this until today, not sure if it was my fault putting it on or if this happened to anyone else? I bought it through amazon, and got a genuine code..

Yeah, its really the drawback from Neo Hybrid (the camera part). you can clean it with dishwashing liquid..
It's really easy to clean. Just take the case off, remove the plastic frame, and put a couple drops of dishwasher soap on it and a little bit of water. Rub the foam all over the case with your hands and rinse it off. Dry it as much as possible. The case will literally look brand new and will show those shiny sparkles on the black part again.
Thanks guys will try to clean it tonight..so the raised part around camera is normal?? I thought maybe I got a deffective one, doesnt bother me much I just wanted to make sure it wasnt just mine.
Sent from my GT-I9505G using Tapatalk 2
The phone itself is raised there, and they didn't cut it properly. It's not a huge problem but you can always cut it a little bit on the inside (and risk ruining the case in the process ).

I know this is an older thread, but did you have any luck cleaning the case op? I tried dish soap but it didnt work. I'm about to try using that industrial orange hand cleaner stuff because it is abrasive but that might realla damage the case... This smudge on the back of my case is killing me!

I used an alcohol pad to clean mine and afterwards i had two black fingerprints on the alcohol pad showing how much dirt came up......looks brand new
So, i have an LG G PAD X 10.1 tablet that i bought some time ago.
I noticed that some kind of "glue" spots started appearing on the side of the screen, i will attach the photos on the post.
I have a tempered glass protector on top of the screen, but this glue spots are not from the tempered glass, as i took it out and saw that this spots are still there. Then i put the tempered glass protector again on the screen.
Do you know what would be the cause of this? Maybe the tempered glass protector making too much pressure on the screen?
Is there any way to fix this? The spots dont affect the functioning of the screen, but they are not too kind to see on the edge of the screen.

Your glass and your LCD screen are getting separated.
A repair shop can replace the glass and get rid of that.
It might even be water damage, it's kinda hard to tell by your pics.

You can also try using a blow dryer to heat it up and rub it with your fingers, try different heat settings with the blow dryer, don't want to get it to hot, just warm enough to make it tacky again so it sticks to the glass again. It might work, it might not, its worth trying at least.

Thank you! I will try with the blow dryer then. It isnt water, not even a water drop touched the screen since i got the tablet.
Asking owners: how are your screens so far? Tell me everything -- are there many scratches, are they visible when the screen is on? Smudges, dust -- is it too irritating? Thanks!
Anyone?
No issues with mine so far.
No issues here but I'm really careful with it.
Thanks! I think I will take the plunge today.

Picked the phone up at the store today. Samsung bundles Z Flip with it's free original Leather Case.
Had mine for a couple of hours when I tried to open it with one hand by sliding my thumb in from the side and flipping up. This left a dent in the screen protector from my thumb nail that was really visible with the screen off. A day later it was still there, I put on a screen protector that is more durable, that original dent is not visible now. I don't know if it self-healed or is just covered by the new protector. As an added bonus the screen protector is less prone to fingerprints and I am not worked to rub it to clean. I will have to be careful if I need to remove the new screen protector so I don't peel off Samsung's.

The manual clearly states not to flip open the phone that way, you can damage the screen. You also voided the warrenty by puting another screen protector on it.
