UG100 android mini pc - Android Stick & Console Computers General

Anyone with any experience with this device? Picked it up off amazon the other day. After looking at the Quick start guide it has a model number of "AC 6331" it has android 4.1, A9 chipset, 1gb ddr3 ram, 8gb nand, TF slot and wireless. It connects really well half way across the house it got 4 out of 5 bars.
Specs: RK3066 Dual Core, Cortex A9, Mali400 quad core GPU, DDR3 1GB RAM, On board NAND Flash 8G ROM, Ports: Micro USB, Standard USB, TF card slot, HDMI. Appears to have the same specs as UG007. Any thoughs
Question is does anyone know of a rom that will work with this one, its already rooted and verified with Root Checker.

I just got one, and I shall do a full report on the latest device soon! (keep in touch)

[Q] Tagital Tablet

I bought this tablet and it has turned out to be very very slow. Im not sure if its just the tablet of the rom. so I was thinking of looking for a custom rom, but I can't seem to find any. Here are the specs. Is this just a slow processor and a waste of my cash?
Where can I look or find the way to Root this tablet. I downloaded the app to check it and it says its not rooted. I like the rom, very bare, no bloatware.
Tagital MID Tablet
CPU: Boxchip A13 Cortex A8 1.0GHz ,GPU: Mali 400
OS: Google Android 4.2, RAM: 512MB DDR3
Internal storage capacity: 4GB, External storage 32GB

Hi
Not sure if its rootable due to hardware constraints of hardware
Asked vender about hardware mentioned 400x800.
The slowness and key responses isn't a good sign.
When I try and store this text it boots the screen my guess
Very limited processor. ordered a refurbed tab3 better resolution
And processor.
I don't think a ROM can run on this tablet!
Sorry to say beings I bought a TX-9 .
This is the worst item I have ever used. Its like a very early Texas calculator
But slower response.
Another third world clone gone bad!!! Doug

HDC Beloved honey [the truth]

After carefully taking my phone apart which is linked below I can confirm that this phone is only sporting a single quad core processor running at 1.3ghz and not 2 quad core processors, also this phone has a 720p IPS display with 2gb of ram and 4gb ROM the WiFi as far as I can tell supports b, g and N as the speeds achieved through the active WiFi connection are not possible on a b/g chip.
I would like to point out that "fastcard tech" has been advertising this falsely as a 2 processor phone which would have a much better benchmark anyway, but I had yo know so I opened her up and found out for myself. Hope this helps anyone else who is as curious as me !
Please note that there were some parts of the phone I could not access but there was nothing to suggest 2 processors.

props to you man. thanks for the heads up.
but do you have picture to further strengthen your confirmation?
please post it here . thanks.

[Q] Custom ROM for MEDIACOM MP10S4 (cortex A9 quad-core)

Hi everyone!
I've recently received this cheap tablet as a present. I suppose it is a rebrand version of a Chinese tablet, since there is not so much online about it. Anyway, the only specs I found online are:
MODEL: MEDIACOM MP10S4 10.1
Memory 16GB Flash
microSD card slot (max. 32GB supported)
Display 10.1” LCD IPS capacitive touchscreen Multitouch 1280 x 800
System Processor: Cortex A9 Quad Core (1.6 GHz)
RAM: 1GB DDRIII
Graphic Processor Unit GPU Mali-400 MP4 @ 533MHz
Networking Wireless/Ethernet (RJ45 adapter M-USBETH) required
Connection Bluetooth
Video Output Mini HDMI, type C (1080p and 720p supported)
Audio Output 3.5 mm headphone
2 Cameras - 2.0Mpixel - 2.0Mpixel
Built-in microphone
Built-in speaker
PC Interface 1 Micro USB 2.0 Hi-speed
Operating System Android 4.2 Jelly Bean
Dimension 260x170.5x9.5 mm - 610 gr.
Power Rechargeable Li-poly battery (7000mAh)
Even though the hardware components are not that bad, the original ROM still sucks: it's pretty bugged and it doesn't even support the google playstore(!!!).
I previously had an android phone and I have no problem to flash a new ROM. However I don't have that much of experience to properly customize a ROM to make it run on a different device: I would probably end up bricking it
Do you know if there is a cooked ROM that can be compatible with this tablet?
if there was a cyanogen compatible it would be great, but at this point I think any custom ROM would be just fine!
Thanks in advance!
Hello, I own this tablet and I'm interested in a ROM CyanogenMod or similar. Is there anyone who can give us some advice on how to install a custom ROM?

Which android tablet would you like as a xmas gift?

i am going to give my friend a 7" tablet, they are not that tech savy, so im not sure which tablet to get them between these 2 specs. From a techie standpoint the intel clover trail tablet should be better overall i would think, too bad the resolution is only 1024x600. Also the MT8125 tablet has less storage built in.
Not sure which tablet to get my friend. Thanks for your input.
7" WSVGA 1024x600 Display
Intel Clover Trail Plus Z2520 1.2GHz Dual-Core CPU
1GB RAM & 16GB Flash Storage
Expandable up to 64GB via microSD Card
7" IPS Touchscreen 1280x800 (SXG-544 GPU)
1.2GHz Quad-Core CPU (MTK MT8125)
Dual Camera, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, GPS
8GB Storage, 1GB RAM
Expandable up to 64GB via microSD Card
Hisense Sero 8, it's what I have its running 4.4.4 and you can root it also it's super fast camera is not the best coming in at only 3.2 megapixles but you really don't take pics with your tablet alot I'm guessing it's cheap at only 129.00$ (us) I love it.
i will check out the hisense 8, is it sold locally at any retailer, or mainly online?

Nexus 7 '13 as others have mentioned but the NVidia Shield is a steal for the power at it's price.
thanks for the replies guys i ended up getting a couple of these tablets for a couple friends who never had a tablet, only $59.99/each.
Should be a good start.
