Hi!
I found this page -by Christian Troy: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2354025
I am very happy, because custom roms now can be found for allwinner a31, but I have problem with the compatibility zips. There's nowhere for the MyAudio 916 QR, everwhere just Onda and few others. Do you have any idea?
Thanks!
Somnius
Hi Christian or anyone could help with this momo20 compatibility.zip that you have attached in pg 1 of this section?
I just realized that actually this zip works except that it is unsigned.
I 'll need anyone who has signed it & put it in a link for download...
I tried signing it with the software but it keeps giving me issue on my windows...
Appreciate someone who could signed it or post the signed momo20 compatibility.zip...
Ployer MOMO20 (v2.0 based) 2.0_rc0 which can be found here

Appreciate with thanks!

I'm having trouble deciphering the Acer download site (obfuscated, since I can't post links yet):
Code:
global-download.acer.com/Step5.aspx?Step1=Tablet&Step2=ICONIA%20TAB&Step3=A210&BC=Acer&SC=&LC=en&OS=Android%204.1%20Jelly%20Bean&FS=O02&Category=OS[code]
Could someone please point out which of these is the correct file for US version of the a210 or help me decipher the naming convention? I tried the PA.CA version (Canada?) but recovery rejected it. I'm trying to go back to the stock ROM after flashing James ROM 3.x. I'd just download them all but their servers are slow and my ISP connection creeps along as well.
Edit: Found my answer on another board, this is the PA.CUS1 is the US ROM.

Hello,
I'm having trouble finding a good download link for CyanogenMod 9 for A10/A13 tablets. I see that member Christian Troy has not been active on this forum for several months. I tried the link in his CM9 thread as well as the link appearing in his profile with no luck. I am trying to load CM10 on a Mediacom 907c, but I've read and see on YouTube that CM9 must be loaded first. Does anyone know where else it might be hosted? Your help is appreciated.
Hi,
The few I find on XDA are indeed no longer available.
I did a net search and can't link you to it, look for an ' android tablet' site, you should find a good link there.
All the best!!
Hi there.
I want to port a kitkat based rom to my device. My device is a Genesis Gt-1440, A31 Allwinner board. I have the original rom with jelly bean and a similar one from device Colorfly e708 Q1 (kitkat).
This similar rom can boot my device, I flashed it using PhoenixSuit but the screen is screwed (different resolution and touchscreen doesn't work).
I tried to use the kitchen method to make a port, but it gives me an error. I found out that this error its because of the A31 board and the IMG file. So I've been looking for the Alwinner A31 kitchen tool made by Xlab, but every link is down... This tool was hosted on Github but not anymore. Can anybody help me? Thanks in advance.
Hello. A quick search came up with the links below. Best of luck.

Chef Central Android
I already tried those methods! None of them can extract the .IMG file of the base or the port ROM. They give me the same error as that kitchen method. They are not appropriate for the A31 allwinner roms... That's why I've been searching for the Alwinner kitchen. Without this I can't extract the .IMG and acess all necessary files. I really apreciate your help, but let's hope anybody else just had this problem before.

Hi
I posted a question on rooting the Acer A500 Tablet, with 3.2.1, running on it and I haven’t received any replies. Now wondering if it’s even possible to root it. I have done plenty of searching on it, but the links that are on varies topics seem too point to nothing more than malware.
If someone could give me a yes or no on the rooting I would greatly appreciate it.
Tablet Info:
Acer A500
Version: 3.2.1
Kernel: 2.6.36.3+
Build: Acer_A500_7.014.02_Com_Gen2
Thank You

I have searched on Google and yes there are thousands of guides. But the problem is the links don't seem to be good any longer. For instance, the link you post to xda, if you follow the links let’s say for V3 it brings to iLividSetup-r4484-n-bf.exe file and the instruction in the guides are saying that this file should be a zip file, and there’s a pdf file, with further instruction on a read me file. This file is clearly not a zip file. The file contains a download manager and the file is loaded with malware. (Spyware, wajam, toolbars, etc.)
If you could just check it out and let me know if I’m missing something here. The other problem is all of the guides eventually come full circle to xda and the links posted on xda.
Thank you, and thank you for a quick response.
Hello,
I need your help guys.
I installed ubuntu on my Asus T100 TAF using the magic stick http://forum.xda-developers.com/win...opment/live-asus-t100-ta-magic-stick-t3091481
Grub and all the booting stuff is ok however.
Wifi is not Working !!!
After looking through this google+ community https://plus.google.com/communities/117853703024346186936
Kernel 4.1 was posted through the community and I installed it hoping my Wifi would work. Nothing. Not working
After, I saw that someone with the same computer than mine posted a Kernel version that would make wifi work.
Here's the link to the github: https://github.com/pinkflozd/T100TAF_kernel/
The thing is that I have absolutely no clue how to install this. It's an uncompiled kernel.Could you please assist me on the subject ?!
More info:
Before arriving to that point, I tried installing brcmfmac43241b4-sdio.txt and brcmfmac43241b4-sdio.bin according to https://linuxnorth.wordpress.com/2014/08/28/establishing-wi-fi-connectivity-on-the-t100/
But, no sign of wifi connection
According to someone on the google+ community, the right driver for my computer is brcmfmac43340.bin, but I have no clue on how to find the .txt(nvram file)
Also, sound is not working but the previously posted uncompiled kernel apparently fixes all the previously mentioned problems.
Heres the actual Google+ Posting of the kernel version for my asus t100taf, its the second post.https://plus.google.com/112460475763080321634/posts
All help would be appreciated. thank you very much !!
