[Q] Downgrade Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 P3100 JB 4.1 to ICS 4.0

Hey guyz help me out i want to downgrade Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 P3100 JB 4.1 to ICS 4.0.4
i recently update my GT-P3100 with JB 4.1 and im not at all happy with user interface so i want to go back to ICS 4.0.4

Just download the 4.0.4 firmware from http://www.sammobile.com for your model and country and flash it via ODIN.That's it

Actually, make sure you have do backup your ICS Rom in CWM before replacing the new one. So you can get back to fast restore them without any download again .

Multiuser tablet slow.....

Hello I'm using the personal need for multi-user, the system slows down dramatically as it updates both power users, in my case two would be more logical to update only the user with which you connect.:what:

P5100 in UK, Jelly Bean. What are my options?

I'm looking for a bit of advice please. I am UK based and have the 3G version of the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (P5100) and as I am aware i'm not going to be getting the official Jelly Bean update for my tablet via kies or OTA.
Is that correct? Is my only option to root my tab and flash a rom? I've rooted and flashed stuff on my phone before but wanted to try and keep my tablet kosher for a while so was disappointing that the wifi version of my tab got the update an not me.
So yeah any help much appreciated.

its still running 4.1.2
i am from india and its a contract free TAB2
any1 from India got 4.2.2 update...
shall i try via Kies
coz am not getting via OTA

Flash PSN ROM for P3100, it has been modified with Indian CSC.

Nope the stock 4.2.2 is not yet available in India ...just try any stock , rooted , deodexed 4.2.2 roms(say psn 4.2.2 or sungsonic hd v4):good:

Best brick-proof idea is to just wait, you dont always need the newest version

seems like tab2 is coming up with ANDROID 4.3

Official Update To 4.2.2 / 4.3 FOR SGS TAB 2

hi i am from india i haven't received an update to 4.2.2 am still on stock 4.1.2 will TAB2 receive the Official 4.2.2 update
has samsung roll out 4.2.2 update for SGST2 i even went to service center they said 4.2.2 is not available for SGST2 yet but i read in forum that SGST2 has got 4.2.2 update
my other question is that will samsung provide us official 4.3.1 update or we will be stuck at 4.1.2 (4.2.2)

4.2.2 is not that great. 4.1.1 is the best. 4.1.2 is meh.

Depends on the country and carrier. See for yourself -- screenshot from SamMobile. You don't have to wait, just grab what's available in other countries.
my other question is that will samsung provide us official 4.3.1 update or we will be stuck at 4.1.2 (4.2.2)

Until Sammy announces it officially (they didn't), it's all rumours, nobody knows for sure...

Agree on 4.2.2. Didn't notice much difference, if at all, between 4.1.1 and 4.1.2...

Correct. I am just saying that what you read in the forum about 4.2.2 update is true -- it's available. But not officially for your country at this time. Happens all the time for all devices (phones and tablets) -- some regions and/or carriers are getting official updates much later than others, and some are not getting them at all...

The best way to get the 4.2.2 update is to flash the 4.2.2 firmware for the variant of your device ( any country) through odin because there is no chance of voiding the warranty here !! And yeah i too agree about 4.1.2 being better but the 4.2.2 ver. Has a greater RAM !!
