New Phone - Galaxy S 4 General

After two bad HTC Ones within 1 week, made the switch to a GS4. I'm so glad i did. I have a BodyGuardz Tempered Glass screen protector and a black speck case for it, plus a 32gb sd card, loving this phone.

Probably the badly cut and molded plastics, overhang, dead pixels etc.. The build quality isn't really as perfect as HTC fans would say.

My HTC One is flawless. The earlier batches had some quality control issues but everything is fine now as far as I know.

Everything was perfect on it. The sound was incredible. Only the bad home button and dropped signals. Everything else was fine, but i do like the saturation of the S4 screen better..

[Flip Case] found a flip case on ebay

I was kinda attracted to the flip cases available for the htc one x ..
after a small resear found some .. but the one which i liked the most is
http://www.ebay.com/itm/140805063347#ht_6169wt_1185
i was just wondering , if anyone tried it ? looks sexy.. but 18$ isn't worth untill i know it works fine..
I haven't tried it but is be scared to use one without a screen protector
A tiny piece of sand could get caught in there and eff up your screen
Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
yeah true .. but i wont invest that much money in the case until and unless i have the confirmation that it works perfectly
i was just thinking that someone might have give it a go ..
27$ that's too much , with the fact that i dont know for how much time will i carry my ONE X .. hehehe..
actually i was looking for something like the SAMSUNG NOTE CASE ..
Thats a really good looking case, but I've been rolling naked for a while and i have the same concern about sand as superchilpil, don't want any more scratches
Anyone looking to sell their one x cases and car dock ??

I'm a little concerned that the camera hole won't fit perfectly, but I will certainly let you know when I receive it. If it works this might be the best flip case out there.

I ordered one, the brown one. So hopefully in a week or so I'll have it and I'll let you guys know how it fits and works.
Got this original HTC flip case from expansys.com and it's quite legit! Also downloaded smart screen off app, that way phone screen would automatically turn on and off when open/closed the flip. Worth the money!

I ordered the black one, we'll see what happens when it comes off the boat and to my door. Currently using the ballistic case for my HOX as my daily, I work in a garage and its been great! This would be a great out of work case.

I've got the 2.0 I think. Works decent, hollow sound and you pretty much have to be within 10' of it to hear it. I found it works pretty good on a empty cardboard 12 pack.

[Q] Buy which phone???

Hey guys:fingers-crossed:
Last summer I found this forum and had alot of fun with my Xperia Pro
Now I am looking for new phone, its been 4 months and still spending too much energy to find my perfect phone..
So, which from these phones u think is best to buy?
s2, s3 mini, s advance, s plus optimus black, one S, xperia sola, arc S
It also need much-very much development
Thanks!
I'd go with the nexus 4

S2. The S3 wasn't enough of an upgrade o justify the higher price.
Go for S2 buddy. It got hell lot of developers for roms and for the price now its affordable.

Honestly I would go with the nexus. I just got my first nexus and I don't think I would ever go back to a proprietary phone now and I have only had it two days lol. But I used my upgrade on an s2 it was a good phone and I liked it. Great development great devs.

but it doesnt fit your pocket does it? I used to travel alot as student and I only want good camera and some big development nothing more.. So a phone like HTC one SV would be my best choice [mid-range]
Mine fits in my pockets just fine. But mine is the galaxy nexus not the nexus 4. It's just slightly wider than the t989.

I just went to an electronics store today, and it was displaying the galaxy note 2. It looks amazing. I played with it a little bit. It is really zippy; everything turns on instantly when u click on it. It is a little big, but very light and slim. You could actually fit in a regular pocket. I am still debating of whether to get the s3 or the note2. Although the note2 would fit perfectly for my work, because I converse a lot on the computer through emails, charts and PDF documents.

But if u could contradict this maybe I will change mind
Oh, and I really want to buy Razr M but its not available and its expensive
In the Netherlands it's 300 euros?
And It's mid-end, great perfomances for that budget, the only downside is the small community (yet).

€200 on mp man... [300 is really not worth, I think more €150] And It doesnt even have front cam nor HD I prefer a higher spec phone like Razr M, but nobody has it:crying: Thats why Galaxy s2 is my choice:good:
Buy a nexus 4 or iPhone 5
If I helped out, hit the thanks button.
OK the note 2 definitely doesn't fit in a regular pocket but okay.

I can't wait to see how this technology is used in the future and what else it will inspire!
I'm honestly looking forward to what Samsung will do with OLED screens soon. Hopefully they slap one on the GS4. Those things are sick.
I have a feeling that the plastic screen will lose it's shape after a while, have they mentioned durability anywhere?
The skin of the touchscreen has to be flexible, and goes through a lot of repeated stress, so I'd be surprised if the touchscreen stays shiny factory flat for very long.
Looks nice, but I don't think it will keep its shape forever
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
I wouldn't put it past Samsung to start incorporating something like that very soon.

Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
Get the HTC One. It actually feels like a premium phone, has a great display and by far the best speakers on a phone. The S4 is more of the same with a bunch of gimmicky features you'll never use.
Did U hear by your self that speaker on HTC one is the best or U just think?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
I haven't heard it yet but there is pretty much a unanimous agreement by professional tech sites that it has the best speakers on a mobile device right now. I seriously doubt the S4's tiny little speaker will beat that.

Only one slight downfall with the ONE in my opinion...The way they've gone with the camera. It may work aswell as higher pixel camera's under low light conditions but in bright sunlight it will struggle.
