Hey guys:fingers-crossed:
Last summer I found this forum and had alot of fun with my Xperia Pro
Now I am looking for new phone, its been 4 months and still spending too much energy to find my perfect phone..
So, which from these phones u think is best to buy?

It also need much-very much development
Thanks!
I'd go with the nexus 4

S2. The S3 wasn't enough of an upgrade o justify the higher price.
Go for S2 buddy. It got hell lot of developers for roms and for the price now its affordable.

True. 2nd hand now only €200.. But if go more for a mid-range phone, which one has acceptable specs and ALOT / moderate development??
Thnx bro:good:
The Nexus 4 when it will be released again.

Honestly I would go with the nexus. I just got my first nexus and I don't think I would ever go back to a proprietary phone now and I have only had it two days lol. But I used my upgrade on an s2 it was a good phone and I liked it. Great development great devs.

but it doesnt fit your pocket does it? I used to travel alot as student and I only want good camera and some big development nothing more.. So a phone like HTC one SV would be my best choice [mid-range]
Mine fits in my pockets just fine. But mine is the galaxy nexus not the nexus 4. It's just slightly wider than the t989.

Personally, I just got the HTC One S and runs EXTREMELY fast and smooth with Jellybam. It can be annoying to flash ROMs with fastboot, though.

I just went to an electronics store today, and it was displaying the galaxy note 2. It looks amazing. I played with it a little bit. It is really zippy; everything turns on instantly when u click on it. It is a little big, but very light and slim. You could actually fit in a regular pocket. I am still debating of whether to get the s3 or the note2. Although the note2 would fit perfectly for my work, because I converse a lot on the computer through emails, charts and PDF documents.

you know, In netherland its €200 new. But for €200 I also can buy a Galaxy s2 'zo goed als nieuw..' And I heard HTC make bad cameras and Desire X is low-end
But if u could contradict this maybe I will change mind
Oh, and I really want to buy Razr M but its not available and its expensive
In the Netherlands it's 300 euros?
And It's mid-end, great perfomances for that budget, the only downside is the small community (yet).

€200 on mp man... [300 is really not worth, I think more €150] And It doesnt even have front cam nor HD I prefer a higher spec phone like Razr M, but nobody has it:crying: Thats why Galaxy s2 is my choice:good:
Buy a nexus 4 or iPhone 5
If I helped out, hit the thanks button.
OK the note 2 definitely doesn't fit in a regular pocket but okay.

Hi,
I believe the title says it all. I was pretty sure my next phone will be Google Experience. I really love the community and opportunities with this. I had Sony Xperia for about a month and it was terrible with support. But Nexus 4, apart from being much more expensive when bought from a shop and not from Google (which doesnt sell to Czech Republic), has one thing that I really hate - a battery that cant be easily replaced. Im used to carrying one spare (or more when on a longer trip) on me and I can easily switch them even when staning on a crowded bus. I couldnt do that with N4.
So, do you find this to be such a serious issue I consider it to be? And what other phones would you recommend, please?
Galaxy Nexus. Or hacked Galaxy S3 as a second choice. Maybe an HTC One X with CM10 could be a really sexy phone too.

Galaxy Nexus would be the best, no doubts. Don't go for N4, it doesn't seems to go good so far. A few bugs have already been discovered.

If u wanna stay nexus, go galaxy nexus, the prices should even be lower due to the n4 being out

The Nexus Series has its own reputation and of them all, its Development support. While the Nexus 4 is claimed to be bugged with buzzing sound and no Out-of-the-box OTG, it couldn't be considered better than the Galaxy Nexus. The same being the reason for me to buy Galaxy Nexus too, in a month or two.
I too find Note series a bit big for a smartphone to carry in our pockets. No offense to anyone's opinions

Sadly, no because the new flagship doesn't even intend to stand near the Galaxy Nexus. But the price is fine enough for such an amazing device. :highfive:

Galaxy Nexus is €295, Nexus 4 is €458, its more than €150 difference. And the inability to change battery with N4 is bad too. Looks to me that I will go for Galaxy Nexus.

Keep in mind that the galaxy nexus has poor battery life.

It just hit me today, that I want to get a Note 2. Im wanting a bigger device and for awhile I've been wanting the DNA and also am waiting what the M7 has to offer. But i know that will only be a 4.7 in screen. I still don't know 100% yet. But the Note 2 looks sweet and I've heard great things about it. So anyone that had the galaxy nexus that made the switch happy with their choice? Its hard to leave a device that gets updates quite often but I can always root the note so just curious what people here think

Definitely agree, I believe us GS3 users are not as impressed as others. The gs3 set the bar so high, it's kinda hard to notch that with the s4. The obvious hardware upgrade is nice which I still don't believe android is ready for quad core, octa-core processors and again we might the least powerful one. All the camera stuff if you don't voice chat, then all that doesn't matter. Also the air wave is kinda overrated bet most of us won't use it,cool idea though. Might be stuck to stock browser too and for some reason I have never used it on this phone or previous one.
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda app-developers app
Not going to make me switch. I am actually more impressed with the HTC One due to the build quality.
I love my s3, but IMO most these features they have are gimmicky and I would hardly use majority of them. I will say the camera looks good, but also have been impressed with the Ones camera.
Honestly Id rather have a Note 2 over this.
I am sure it will sell well though.

I'm not as excited about the S4 as I was about the S3. But that doesn't mean I won't get it! This phone will be too dope to pass up... Once I get that sexy beast in the palm of my hand, there's gonna be no going back. (that's what she said) Does anyone else think it's slightly weak that Samsung releases the S4 so soon after the S3? Obviously they know people like me will buy it anyways, but still.... Who wants to take a guess at off contract pricing for the Samsung Galaxy S4? Over $700.00? My guess is the $650.00 range.

The SIV looks just like the S3, that's the only downfall!
Other than that, yes.
I'll be getting the 64GB Version w/ a 64GB SD Card.
Don't get me wrong, its going to be a great phone for anyone who is not using the s3...
I just feel the "upgrades" are nothing plausible compare to the concept of s3...i mean i do not use all of the motions of s3...few additional ones are not going to change that because well...I wont' be using them. I do not voice chat so all the pretty camera things are cool.
Do I want it? yes...will I cough up another 200 bucks? Heck no! hell it wont be 200 considering t-mobile will probably sell it at what? 350? 400?
Its not plausable to the point I will drop my s3 and run after it...s3 set the bar too high for even samsung. This is like Iphone 4 and Iphone 4s...the s4 being the 4s...expect the gs3 blows the iphone out of the water so we wont even get on to s4.
Perhaps if the s5 comes around, we will talk
For me, I don't even like the Samsung software anyway, so all I pay attention to is the specs. Which means for me its just another notch up in the seemingly never-ending screen size growth of android phones; and some modest hardware upgrades.
I will say that the processor, new sensors (temperature, humidity & some others) and camera sounds pretty awesome, but nowhere near anything good enough for me to switch.
And Samsung with all its gimmicky software features is nothing in my eyes worth looking at trying out TouchJizz...
I won't be switching any time soon. Especially since I just upgraded on January 27. And it was a tough decision between this and the Note 2. Went with the S3 cause I got it for $99.99 at Target.
Sent from my wickedly awesome Galaxy S3 using my fingers. Duh!!!
I might be tempted to switch if they got rid of the soft buttons on the bottom of the phone. I'm constantly having to be wary of them and still managing to hit them and mess up what I was working on despite being careful...

I haven't heard it yet but there is pretty much a unanimous agreement by professional tech sites that it has the best speakers on a mobile device right now. I seriously doubt the S4's tiny little speaker will beat that.

Of course it's nicer if it looks just as expensive as it is but i think it really says something about you as a person that you would sell your phone for that.

You are disappointing bro.
Apple understood human nature long time ago and Samsung will follow soon enough. Most people will (over)pay for something as long as it can convey the impression of themselves as exclusive. No feature is as valuable as the mass appeal. Appearance and publicity are the new God. Welcome to the Matrix
It seems I took the wrong pills today

So before even watching the videos or looking at any pics, you ordered the device? What'd you expect exactly? Entirely your fault for not doing your research.
Either way, it seems more "premium" than S3/Note II to me personally. Don't like the design? Buy a back cover or shouldn't have even ordered it in the first place. Get an HTC One and be happy with it. Or an iPhone.
