These aluminium buttons were delivered to me yesterday.
The home button rises just a tiny bit higher than the Spigen GLAS.t Slim screen protector.
They are textured, so they feel very nice A lot nicer than the jelly buttons that came with the Spigen protector :good:
Not bad at all for $2.69 for a pack of 5, including silver, black, pink, blue and purple.
Bought from this seller on eBay
How long did it take you to get these? I'm looking to buy some but dont want to pay $10
for spigen's if ill be just using one.
I think it was between 2 and 3 weeks.

Quick question. I get a free button from the case I ordered, if I put the button on, would I be able to put the spigen protector on without taking the button off?

No. I would if my iloome white jelly button didn't match with my case though.
I had this on my s3 and liked it since the stock button on it was almost flushed and it was hard to sometimes press it. But seems on the s4 the stock button is more raised so this will make the button too thick and you might end up pressing the button too much. Just be careful not to damage the button. It also might now be more susceptible to accidental button press when it's in your pocket waking up the screen and drain your battery faster.

i have to agree, im going to c if they loosen up a little, or else ill just cut the power one out
I did that for the volume buttons on my TPU case, the power hole was open already, I used an Exacto knife to carve out the volume buttons and it's MUCH better now.
have this model for now 2 month without problem
i love the side grip
probably i cut the power button

so after 2 months it hasnt loosened up
i love the phone naked, but a little too slick and always worried that the phone would slip out of my hands, the case keeps the bulk down and side grip makes for a less chance of it flying out of my hands, but i could of done without it as the tpu skin would of sufficed
I've been using this case since February. It's really quite impressive for the price. It has probably saved me from a cracked screen at least once. For the price it's really good.
Just got mine in the mail yesterday. For $2.42 shipped, how could I pass it up? I love the look and feel of it (especially the feel), and while I appreciate the stiffness of the buttons making it hard to accidentally press something, they are very firm to the point of being difficult to press. Sucks because I love everything else about this case, especially the side grips, and it's easily my favorite among all the Skyrocket cases I've tried (Otterbox Defender, Diztronic TPU, a bunch of those cheap silicone/mesh hybrids and a Reiko case similar to the Defender, but with a kickstand). Do those buttons loosen up with time at all, or do they pretty much stay the same?

I hated the volume buttons on my TPU case so I cut them out so it's just an opening to the original buttons, same as the power button. I just used a box cutter and cut out around the outline, you can't even tell, and it's *so* much easier now.
I have this for a while and I'm pretty sure the buttons are loosening up with time, happens to me that i accidentally wake the phone clicking the volume keys while simply grabbing it. I only remove it when I'm flashing stuff and need to get to recovery often, then it's a bit annoying.
Just bought mine yesterday. Waiting now.

Well, I screwed this one up pretty good. I cut the covers for the power and volume buttons out, then realized that they're so far recessed in the case that I'll never be able to get to them. It's even less convenient now than it was when the buttons were impossible to press. Oops.
Diztronic TPU incoming.

A few people on reddit bought it and they said it has been great so far in terms of fitment. One had the carbon one and the other I believe had titanium or leather.
Really liking the look of the titanium one, might order one later this week. If anyone beats me to it, please post pictures!

I love it! lol, nexus doesn't slide every where now and it makes the phone look pretty awesome, can't speak for the leather looking ones but the carbon fiber one looks amazing. I'll take pics with my friends phone later.
I definitely recommend this if you don't mind covering up the glass back, I prefer it this way TBH, the effect is cool, but not cool engh I'd keep this sort of protection off.
Just received my titanium skin, it looks fantastic. Haven't applied it yet (I'm at work; haven't even taken it out of its vinyl pouch), but here's a quick picture so you can get an idea of the texture. I scratched at it a bit, it feels a lot harder than you'd expect.
Finally applied it, took maybe five minutes. The fit is perfect and it feels very nice. Photos don't really do it justice.

Just received mine in the mail so........Mini review!
Aesthetics:
Its a pretty simple case, not too flashy. The whole case is made of TPU, the back part is matte and while smooth doesn't appear to be too slippery, while the bumper portion fully surrounds the sides of the phone, is fully transparent and has a nice rubbery grippy feel. The nexus 4 back design is not really visible through the back of the case. However, the nexus logo itself can be seen albeit slightly muted. While it does add a little bulk to the phone, its pretty minimal while providing decent protection for day to day use.
Function:
There are appropriate cut-outs for both the and bottom mics, the speaker, the camera and the charging port. The volume and power buttons have these built in pushable sections which protrude slightly outside the case and allow you to press the buttons down. I found that the power button sometimes took a little bit of effort to press, however the volume buttons are perfectly fine. I don't have access to a wireless charger so I can't comment on whether that works or not, but it detects NFC tags just fine.
Protection:
For the front , the added lip should mean that placing your phone face-down will elevate it slightly and provide some protection. The bumper portion provides as good protection as any TPU case around the sides of the phone. The back is also fully covered so this should protect from scratches and minor bumps although I'm not sure how good the drop protection will be (this is obviously not a super heavy duty case).
Pictures:
I don't have a camera at the moment but I'll see what I can do. Pictures added. Apologies for the shoddy camera work, using my roommate's Nexus S.
Still no sign by the looks of it
Perhaps one of these? The description says 0.5mm though.

Okay review but I disagree on the button feedback comment.
I've had my case for about a week or so.. Just took it off today and it is so much easier to press the power button and volume rocker.
They could have made that part way better, other than that I love this case.

Of course not having a case will def feel better. And thats why I said it sometimes feel like there is nothing there...but it seems that it got taken the wrong way..when I say nothing there , I meant like it feels like you are not pressing nothing at all which is not good . sorry for the misunderstanding .
Totally agreed with the fact that maybe for the buttons they could ve use less material making it feel more natural

Received mine a few days ago. The button feedback is normal as well. Maybe this is the 'fixed' one as well. Anyway, great case, snug fit. The only thing that is, have to remove it every now and then to remove dust that visible in between clear plastic and N4 back glass. A bit annoyed to see those specks of dust... Nothing major
Also can confirm the buttons on this case are perfect now . received mine yesterday.

nop at all! the only "down" is the back, since its acrylic, time to time accumulates some dust.
Got this case a few days back and it's excellent. Button feedback is better than without the case - indeed, the power button now works 100% for me while I was having trouble with it before. Fits like a glove, the cut outs are perfect, especially the mini jack - I can fit most headphones in it now.
In my opinion this is the best case I could buy. It makes the device feel a bit bigger and thicker, but I have more grip when I hold it, and feel absolutely protected. It fell a few times and got no damage whatsoever. The back got a bit scratched, but it's ok, it's two years old!
A nice touch is the tiny feet on the back, so when you put it on a table, you can perfectly hear the speaker.
Definitely a very good case.
So I just got a pack of 3 in and I installed it, with the tape and such...
Anyways there's an arrow where the adhesive seems to be do I remove that or something? I didn't and it seems to be kinda wobbly since the adhesive doesn't cover the whole home button makes it a little uneven... not that bad but I was just wondering if it was just me or is that how it is

I can't comment on the aluminum buttons, but I need the raised home button for ease of access. With the screen protector and the fact that the raised lip of my case is so close to the home button, it's too recessed for easy pressing.
The raised button solves all that.
