[Q] NFC refreshes really rare - Sony Xperia L

Hi!
I've got a problem with NFC in XL. When I turn it on sometimes I need to wait over 30s for reaction. I checked many other devices (nexus 4, lg l9, SII+) and they were working in 3s max. Any solutions? Do you have similar problem?

maybe you put the NFC tag in the wrong position... :silly:

Hi!
I checked it again and it's still the same. I put NFC tag exactly near NFC on my sensor. I checked many tags different types and providers, all the same.

Same with me
I tried a different cover with the nfc chip from a friend's XL, but still the same problem. My phone doesn't even read my nfc headphones.
Will be going to the service centre soon enough -_-

Hi! When you go in the service menu, then service tests ans NFC test, what is written?

Sony xperia tipo?

This is best one or not? I'm gng to bought this phone...sony xperia tipo...ics,800mhz.....suggestions pls.....
And also galaxy ace....which one good ace or tipo...
Sony xperia tipo very nice shape :cyclops:
There is a specialised thread for this problem HERE. Please use it. You will get a much quicker response.
Anyhow, I would say galaxy ace because of the support it has. However the tipo is a very good looking phone but you can expect many other phones from Sony later on and this may disappoint you.
On behalf of KC93 - traffic rerouted.
Mi phone 2 is better.
The Sony Xperia tipo is very comfortable to hold and can operate with one hand. Sony isn’t as shy to go downmarket with Android as HTC used to be, and the Xperia tipo is a proud proof of that strategy. The Xperia tipo has a waterfall frontal design, with the bottom part of the screen seamlessly cascading into the bezel underneath.
The only apparent flaw with the screen is the upper vertical viewing angle, where colors and contrast deteriorate rapidly with the slightest tilt of the handset. Also, there is no oleophobic coating, so the screen smudges easily.
Sony tipo I'm using it now lol love the phone a good looking phone

Xperia L vs Xperia U: main diffrences

hello people, i'm a folk from Argentina and here devices are not that cheap, so we have to make a real deep investigation before we get to buy these kind of things.
i've been reading a little bit (just thought today to get this device) and i've got to know that this model does not support OTG on the go.
so my thread is about that kind of stuff, specially get in touch with people that have had xperia u and now this one.
thanks to all and regards from the deep south :good:
This is support OTG already but lack of power, so you need an usb hub with external power.

LG v10 vs. Z5 Premium

Hi,
at the moment I'm thinking about switching from LG v10 to Sony Z5 Premium, but I'm not quite sure about it just yet. V10 has few very important features (to me) which I'm not sure Z5 Premium has. I would really appreciate if someone checked the list and told me if it's possible on Z5 Premium. Thank you.
LG v10 Features:
Changing of quick android buttons (downline with back/home/apps buttons)
Quick snap of a photo and possibility to draw on it and edit it immediately after taking the shot
Manual Videa and Photo (if it's not possible, is there a way to use LG v10 camera on Z5)
Is the smaller size of the device a big problem?
Can I control TV/Projectors/Air Condition by using of the phone?
Is this phone lagging when I use it a lot? (LG v10 does lag quite often)
Can I use fingerprint scanner to unlock apps?
[Ill add new ideas, at the moment I can't think of any other]

Huawei Watch: any user? "Lost Pairing" bug when using audio?

Hi guys.
I have an "old" Z5 Premium Dual and I'm affected by the "lost pairing" bug when using audio on my Huawei Watch.
I'm looking forward to check new Xperia's to know if they're affected by this bug because in this case I'll look to another phone to replace mine when it will die (it's one and a half year old with some issues and repairs). But it's hard to find infos. Can you help me?
Thanks to everybody!
I haven't had that bug on any of these builds on the xz but this bug is a common bug on n5x roms from a couple months ago, used to drive me crazy always repairing.
Yes, it happens on this phone, or at least on my XZ Dual version. But it also happens on other phone *and* watch brands, and as far as I can tell is a Google bug, not a phone / watch manufacturer bug.
After 2.0 Wear update no more issues! Works perfectly!

NFC Problem with the NTT DoCoMo version of XZ Premium (So-04j)

Hey guys
Wondered if anyone can help me on the NFC problem.
Thing is, recently I unlocked my XZ premium, for fun, and a better experience. I flashed CherishOS, and after all things done, I realize that the SO04J and G8141 have different NFC hardware, that means I cant use NFC on a third party OS.
Are there any solutions I can take to restore the NFC functions?
