Is it true, if anyone is using it please post some review and help me decide whether to buy 16 GB or 32 GB ?

no it is not true that 32GB card will make your phone slow. it only depends upon the speed of your memory card..according to me buy class 10 memory card whether it is 16GB or 32GB as you prefer but class 10 memory card delivers you the best speed..............
Thanks for the tip, ya I am going to buy a Class 10 card only..
My MMxA110 has destroyed 2 SD cards. One was a Sandisk 32GB and another is a Transend 2GB. Has anyone else faced this issue?

So I used universal Androit. Didnt even get the chance to put anything on it yet and my 8gb sandisk card was just ruined.Kept saying format but couldnt be read.
Is it the Universal Androit root or is it just luck of the draw? I would like to root my Nexus one but not at the risk of my 16gb card I just got.
Any tips or anything?
Everybodies looking at the thread and no tips....not even a it wasnt because of the rooting??

The chances are it wasn't because of the app so is probably due to the card itself. Do you get errors whilst trying format it using a card reader?

I'm trading my cappy for my wifes inspire. I rooted it and flashed coredroid. I want to drop in my sd card out of my cappy and take the sd card from the inspire and put it in the cappy. Can I do that after making it a gold card?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using XDA App
yes yes yes. I use one for movies and another for roms and mods.
Thanks. So she can keep her gold card and i can take the cappy card and still flash away?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using XDA App
Yes you only need the gold card to downgrade the phone to get root and after that you are done with it.
Kind of the same problem
I root mi inspire with a 4gb sd, now I found my 8gb sd can I swap it without any problem? Thanks in advance.

you would have to use the adapter to plug in a power usb hub, meaning the hub has a plug in cable to give it power from a wall outlet. Then you could plug the drive into that. The problem is that the phone cannot give power through usb, so nothing would run off it without outside power.

Well...for a common user it might look that way. But to a developer's point of view you can do much more with rooting. Use the search button for christ's sake

Do we get to use the full 16 GB storage as user memory?? I am a bit doubtful about it because even though Galaxy S have 16 GB advertised memory, user get to use around 13 GB only.. Others are reserved for system.. If thats the case in One S then its gonna be sad (no Sd card support, even less memory)..Atleast SGS have SD card support. So One S users please let me know if thats the case or not...
no definitely not. if they advertise it as 16gb they actually want to say there is 16gb in it and we can use what the don't reserve for the os (~1gb i'd suspect). they said (in some early preview from mwc) that ~14.x (or something like that) will be accessable by the user. but yeah ... 14.8, 16. not really a big difference is there?!

is it possible to use the 10GB partition as mass storage (like an usb-drive)? all previous android devices BEFORE the galaxy nexus had that feature ... i'm wondering if htc is still true to the openness it proclaimes...

Speaking with a very nice woman at my local phone shop, I can confirm that the HTC One S will have 12GB available for the user. The other 4GB is used by the system and applications.
Hey guys.
Using cromi 5.1
Just got a fast top of the line SD card. One if my friends said you can put the end right on the fast SD card to fix the i/o issue and speed this baby up.
Please help. Can't find how to do this.

You got a lot of reading to do.
Go to the development section and read the threads for data2sd and rom2sd, and there's also an option of cache2sd.
The rom2sd method has nothing to do with speeding up the device. It's a way to run a dual boot system where one rom runs off the sd card if inserted. So far it actually runs a tad slower than the same rom installed to internal - at least on Quadrant if you put stock into scores...
And in my opinion the other two do not do much to improve on CROMi-X 5.x. Have you tried running your rom with Hund's kernel and LMK's Extreme Tweaks?
I have the feeling, you haven't been following the CROMi-X thread, have you? Otherwise you wouldn't be asking here... These topics are being discussed there extensively in last few months....
Thanks
I did read, and I did figure it out.
Despite the quadrant scores which are meaningless, it did help the i/o issue tremendously and skilled up the tab to the point I took it off eBay. Of course it only works with a top of the line SD card.
