[Q] CM10.0 damaged SD card

Hello,
I am very new to all of this and any help would be appreciated. I just rooted and unlocked the bootloader on my verizon galaxy s3 for the first time without any issues (its my second android phone, but my first time rooting). for my first custom ROM i downloaded and flashed CM10.0.0-d2vzw and did everything through ROM mananger. everything went through cleanly, but since it finished i have had a message in my drawer that says the SD card is damaged and that i should try to reformat it. i have the card backed up on my desktop, so if i need to do that its okay, but i was wondering if this is something that happens when you flash new ROMs and if there is something i should have done differently through the process to avoid this and if there is anything i can do to fix it now. Thanks.

[Q] Samsung GT 10.1 3G LOST 3G connection!! PLease help!!

Good day...
I have a Samsung GT 10.1 P7500, and I have rooted my tablet, and flashed rooms before.
And I flashed a JB rom, This one. The rom was great and all, but then when I wanted to flash back to ICS, something happened and my tab got "lost" it's internal storage. So when I tried to access the root folders on my tablet (Using file manager) it says "no internal storage found" and when i tried to access using computer, the GT icon shows up (Like a USB), but when i click inside, there is nothing there. No internal storage.
SO after a while, I thought I had to install a rom using Odin. Which I did. I went to Sammobile.com and downloaded their ICS rom and flashed it using Odin. And it WORKED! Everything was back to normal... EXCEPT for one thing... my 3G connection...
And I have flashed different roms thinking that I may have flashed a P7510 rom... SO I flashed: This ICS rom and also This Jelly Bean Rom
I made SURE I downloaded the P7500 ROM.
***And for those that may ask, my sim card is active. I tried it on 2 phones, and they both reads the sim card. And if questions about the unlocking and all, the tablet was bought in the same country as the sim. Plus I have used the sims (And many other sims from the same country and they all worked.) so it shouldn't be the unblocking... [But I may stand under correction]***
Does anyone have any idea what is wrong with the tablet? Was it something I did or is the sim reader in the tablet broken (Which i hope not...)
please help...
Thanks in advance

[Q] Whats the diffference between safe strap and twrp and cwm ?

So I just downloaded safe strap 3.72 or something custom recovery and I think this is the same thing as twrp ... not exactly sure... I was just curious though what is the point of a custom recovery... I am using it to downgrade back to jelly bean as my phone will not currently connect 802.1x ... With a custom recovery will I be able to switch between different roms by restarting because that would be really cool ... I have around only 6 gigs left on internal storage though but I can get a sd card for 32gb but can I store my system on there ? Thanks guys complete noob trying to get his figured out... Oh and if it makes a difference i have vzw samsung galaxy s4!
