Viber & Skype proximity sensor issue

When in call with Viber or Skype why the proximity sensor doesn't work? My screen is not off like regular call. Any one knows any solution.

The proximity sensor on my Moto G works fine when using Skype with both JB and kit kat.

Yup its working fine for me too in Skype for both JB and Kitkat

Only problem i have is on skype, when i switch apps while on a call, the sensor is still active and sometimes it will turn off the screen even when im not on the call screen

I think its a Motorola issue....I used an app called phone tester and tested the proximity sensor... It was not working ...so I guess Motorola has coded the proximity sensor to work on operator calls only ....I tried the same app with my Samsung and sensor was working on it

It doesn't look like Motorola issue, as I tried Viber on ZTE Blade Q, and proximity sensor didn't lock the screen too. Tried for few times. It doesn't work on Moto G too.

Yes...but what am trying to say is that in Samsung proximity sensor is always on whereas in moto its only on during operator call.....

I believe the graphical fix is intergrated, which leaves no notable bugs.

Storage is fixed(via work around)
Gps is usable if you have a decent internet connection
ps.Graphics Fix is not integrated and needs to be flashed manually!

GPS works only if mobile connection or wifi turned ON, and it`s actually not GPS itself, and native GPS chip isn`t working.

Storage is completely working without any issues and about GPS, AGPS works and GPS doesn't.

hey, I have serious battery drain problems on this rom. Even if cell is on battery saver mode, on airplane mode (wifi off). There are apparently no wakelock detectors too. Anyone else have same problem? Help me out. Thanks.

Help!! OnePlus 2 hardware keys are not working!

Problem begins from Resurrection remix
June build 2017
I was enjoying the latest RR june build rom and was working fine with no bugs at all. Than i added my fingerprint and used it with it. I wanted to Flash AOSP extended rom June build, so i disabled finger print lock but finger print was saved in the device. I flashed(first time dirty flashed after facing problems tried clean flashed )AOSP Extended June build on the device. Than After flashing, All my(navigation keys only) hardware keys stopped working and was ghost touching automatically with vibration. So somehow i managed to fix it by using software only keys.
If i install any lollipop huilds, hardware keys are working again but home button can't seem to work ,nor the fingerprint scanner.
Conclusion : hardware keys (finger print scanner, back and recent keys) Can't seem to work and I don't think it's hardware problem.
Need a Fix ASAP!:crying: Glad , if Any one could help. Highly Appreciated.

After uninstalling Google talkback fingerprint option is missing before i was getting error "finger print enrollment was not completed...."
In lollipop "hardware unavailable"

it's been a while since I used fastboot mode

Temporary fix : Thanks YouTuber "jerryrigseverything" he has tutorials of repairing phones , teardown... amazing content must check out.
I found video of OnePlus 2 teardown and i watched and i got idea while watching why not i should tear my phone and unplug hardware keys and it works now i can flash any roms without any ghost touches but sadly ican only use on screen keys not hw keys ...very soon im going to buy hardware keys and home button.

Engineering mode not working

I've seen a few people mention engineering mode and that it has calibration settings for the proximity sensor, which I've been having issues with. I read that the code is *#808#, but after I type that in the dialer, the text disappears and nothing happens. I found about 3 or 4 other codes around online, but none of them worked. Any ideas? I'm on 9.5.11. I'm rooted and using the ElementalX kernel.

Overwrites the file "sys_secrecy_switch_list.xml" with an old release, if I understood correctly, this xml has been modified by OnePlus to block access to engineering mode. I knew this solution because it was used on OnePlus 8 in the ExOS 10 rom and, if I remember correctly, in the xXx rom.

Honestly I don't know if it works with alternative dialers too, I tried it with the stock dialer.

The proximity sensor isn't that bad. Sometimes the screen will come on for a few seconds while on a call. I figured I'd try to calibrate it. The bigger problem to me is not being able to get in to engineering mode. Does that code open up engineering mode for you?

It works on 9.5.9 for sure.... but for some reason it doesn't work on 9.5.11 either a bug or they took away users ability to get into engineering mode....

Did you figure it out? How to enter the engineering menu?

I can't acces service menu either. Running 9.5.11
I wanted to calibrate the rotation sensor because out of 10 times auto rotation only works 3 times for me. Super annoying, especially on a device like this..

My sensor is faulty together with accelerometer and the proximity sensor. I tried everything. I'm sending my 7pro to warranty tomorrow.

*#808# doesn't work anymore. they removed it on 9.5.11

Just download and install the engineering mode app from appmirror then the code will work
