Hi guys. New to this forum
So I have a few issues regarding my arc:
1. Camera not working, after I launch camera app, it turns black without responding so I have to reboot the phone.
2. The Home button does not work, only works to unlock the phone when it's locked(not in use). But I can not use it to get home to "desktop" when I'm using an app, I have to use the "back" button.
3. Plugging the arc to the PC does not work at all neither, the "popup" in the phone does not show up when i plug it in the PC, it only starts to charge the phone. At the computer, it fails to install the MTP USB driver.
All this happened when I reset the phone to factory defaults and formatted everything. The phone started up fine, like a new phone but those 3 problems showed up. It is probably because the phone was rooted when I reset to factory defaults.
What is my next step? Possible to recover to the original OS? I have not taken any backups(silly me) before I did anything neither.

Had the same problem, I flashed the phone, using LT15i_4.0.1.A.0.283_Generic Global. Everything is working properly now. Hope that helps.

How was this done? Do I need to connect the phone to the computer? If so, it will be a issue because I can not connect it to my computer anymore.
Can anyone give me link to the flash tool that works on my arc?

Just reflash firmware with SEUS
I seriously can't find SEUS anywhere to my phone. And will it be possible to flash it because I can't connect the phone to my computer without issues.
What happens in device manager when you click "back" with turned off phone and connect cable?
nothing happens on my phone, but I can't turn the phone on if I do it that way, I have to replug the charger to be able to turn it on. On my computer it said it failed to install the driver.
It's quite of an emergency atm. I can't recieve calls anymore, the phone hangs up on people when they call me automatically, but I can call them without a problem. I can see in my call log if anyone has tried to call me aswell.
Need some more help guys

Really? Can you link it to me? According to the SE website, SEUS does not exist to xperia arc.
SE PC Companion could not find my arc when I plugged it into my PC, but flashtool did. So I guess SEUS would'nt detect my phone neither.
Lol flashed my girlfriends arc with seus last night, go to se site pick any phone model w995 etc and software downloads then download seus. When the program opens select arc and follow instructions. Either that or use flashtool and just flash new firmware it does the same

It should do as for PC companion you have your phone turned on and SEUS/flashtool etc you turn your phone off
Hi All,
I rooted my tipo a month ago with "Bin4ry_v17" script, and it works fine for me
yesterday at some point during the day my phone just switch off
Ok, I thought the battery is discharged than I try to charging, but nothing happend (no red led light)
I try to switch it on but
1, phone vibrate once and nothing else
or
2, red led blinking three times and nothing else ..
I try to connect it to my laptop via USB (holding SND down) therefore green led starting to lightuntil I pull off the USB cable.
So If anybody can tell me some comforting words about my phone I will respect
Can I switch on anyway this phone ?

Do u have flashtool get it from google
Get ftf file from teammex's link
U will get a guide with flashtool install all drivers
Connect device as u did earlier and flash the ftf file
REMEMBER GET FTF FILE OF YOUR DEVICE ONLY IF U FLASH IT WRONG REFLASH RIGHT ONE root it like earlier then get CWM recovery make back up if there is a problem in flashing share your flashtool log

Can i unlock bootloader in bricked stage
I have a bticked tipo and just want to ask if i can unlock bootloader in the bricked stage
and also cani flash without unlocking boot loader
You can flash ftf files with locked bootloader. But if you have locked bootloader you can use sus or pcc

hello guys,
i installed one of the ZNXT ROMs on my Xperia Miro, did everything according to the instruction, finished it and start the phone. it past the Sony logo and then the Xperia logo, but it stocked on the lightning colors of the JB. it was late at night so i let it boot till dawn. apparently the battery on the phone has been worn down. now the problem is here, i want to charge it but i cant. the phone wont start and i cant charge the phone. when i plug in the charger it gives a green light instead of the red light.
another thing is now i cant flash it with flashtools, i press the vol down button and plug in the cable, i hear the ding sound on my pc but flashtools wont recognize the phone therefore it wont flash the phone.
it's my friend's phone so plz help me fast.
p.s: sorry if my english is a little bit off!
Is it bootloader unlocked? If not, take the battery out and charge it using another phone / battery clip charger. Then use pc companion to fix it.

yes, bootloader is unlocked. dont have another phone that can use this battery but i will try to find a battery charger.
any other suggestions?!
If its unlocked, use flashtool to flash stock kernel and reinstall stock. Just charge the battery first. Green light? Maybe it just stuck in flash mode.

flashed it with another ROM with a kernel and stuff. it kinda worked. i can start the phone and charge it now but still i cant flash it with flashtools. i want to restore it to the Miro Stock ROM using flashtools but i cant.
Now the phone working, can the pc detect adb or mtp drivers, or even msc drivers? Maybe just driver reinstall.

after trying to install a custom rom, my xperia does not turn on, only thing it does is vibrate when I try and turn the green led to there. I tried the PC Companion and Sony Update Service and does not recognize my phone, and when I connect the phone to a windows with PCC detects a device called: (null) when I see him I'm going to repair the operating system but when I connect it asks not detects it and finally, I tried flashtools but there is no answer.

switch off phone remove battery re insert battery then go in flashmode in flash tool select your xperia stock.ftf file ( Stock firmware ) then connect your device holding Volume down button until it recognises ur device
If the phone vibrates and shows 3 Green or Red LEDs it is hard bricked and sent it in to Sony for Repair
Sometimes that happens me but only remove the battery connect to pc ,insert the battery and the flash starts

sometimes the problem is adb drivers.. search on google and download ....install then connect flashtool..
if u have bootloader unlocked.... Switch on key + (minus) hold both and a green led will lit up..

Thank you for ur reply, yes bootloader was unlocked and I was trying to install the custom rom but after restarting my xperia L never started again. Black dead...no logo just red LED blinking and I tried key combination but nothing. To repair through sus and flash tool it should be recognized by the pc. Its being recognized as unknown device by pc and did try to install driver manually but no luck. In both sus and flash tool I found message no phone attached.
Plz guide me.

first install PC companion then connect phone to pc drivers installed automatically
Then remove phone
then open flashtool/drivers and install driver!

Thanx, Before this issue with my Xperia L I was using PC companion and I guess this already installed drivers but now neither PC companion/SUS nor flash is detecting my phone. I am using windows 8 currently but I also tried on windows 7 to install the drivers but no luck. My friend suggested that I need a boot loader as all the data in my Xperia L has been washed out due to bad flashing. In my country no boot loader device available for Sony Xperia 2013 models. Any alternate solutions?
Bootloader..?!! I think you don't have any kernel in your phone currently that's why it isn't recognizing your phone by the PC.. Try using SUS on Windows 7..make sure your driver's are installed properly.. Either through SUS or Flashtool..
If your phone is Not Recognized by Flashtool that means you don't have Required Drivers Installed. Use the Below method to Solve this Problem.
Open the folder /Flashtool/drivers & Install "ggsetup-2.2.0.11".
If Still after the Above Process Flashtool doesn't Recognize your Phone. Use this Method.
Open the /Flashtool/driver folder & Extract the "XXX_ADB_Driver.zip" anywhere on your PC/Mac/Linux. [ This Zip corresponds to your Phone Model. ]
Now Open "Device Manager" on your PC/Mac/Linux & find the device which is with an Exclamation mark on it. [ Make sure your phone is Connected to the PC ]
Right Click on that Device & Choose Update Driver.
Choose to find the Driver Manually.
Now Browse to the Folder where to have Extracted your Phone Model Zip File.
This will Install the Required Drivers on your Computer.
After that Open Flashtool Again & Try to Recognize your Device.
If Still you see any problem reply back for further assistance..

You have only one way use flashtool ! download latest frimware.
Install flashtool and sony drivers properly!
and flash the phone.

Hi pervenkal, try varunpilankar steps, I too faced this issue while flashing my Xperia L for the first time, 7 months ago. But it is most probably driver issue, during that time I tried lots of drivers even the one given with flashtool, but finally drivers from ADT bundle helped me.

Blinking red ligth is for no batery power

The red blinking light sounds like your battery is low, I read about someone who had do e this not long ago. Couldn't boot tinto recovery because they had insufficient charge. Charge your phone on mains power for an hour, and then try flashtool again. But make sure you wipe everything.

hello guys m new here ..i tried to flash jb 4.3 on my xperia l c1905 it was successful but when i boot my xperia nothing happens i tried everything nothing's responding ..i charged it for about a week now its showing kinda lime color light when i plug it and in flashtool it says device connected with usb debugging off ..and then be sure u r not in mtp mode ..and pc recognize it as zeus flash device

i flashed stock ftf on my xperia l it was successfully done i unplugged my device now its not booting charged it for 4 days now its just giving yellow or lime kind or led notification when i connect it to pc ..pc recognize it but flashtool or pc companion or sus nothing recognize it cant access fastboot or flashmod guys plzz help

First, Which phone you have, c1905 is Xperia M
Second, Flashing Xperia M ftf to Xperia L is a guaranteed brick ==
i don't think it can be fixed without a complate nand rewrite. just a assumption
@asad69 have you checked wipe data and wipe cache when you flashed with flash tool?

yup i did everything right but i was having xperia l and i flashed xperia m stock rom .and then totally dead now it gives yellow led when i plug in charger or pc ..even though pc recognize it as zeus flash device but non of the flashing tools recognize it
and i took it to many repairing shops they reject it saying it cant be repared
