Here is a Droid Boot Animation for the HTC One SV. I think this was a stock boot animation i found a few years ago for my old phone. I forget where i got it at but all images are made by who ever made this and thanks go to them.
What i did was converted it to make the images work on the HTC One SV and made a sound to go with it. It took awhile to get the sound to sync up with the animation but i got it working on my phone so hopefully its synced on others as well.
To Install (Sorry no flashing)
1 Your phone has to be Rooted, S-Off, Unlocked Bootloader and SuperCID
2 Use your favorite file explorer that gives you Superuser rights.
3 Browse to /system/customize/resource Make a backup of these 2 files CKT_bootup_one.zip and pUp_H3000C.wav
4 Unzip the file below and copy over the zip file and wav file to /system/customize/resource overwriting the ones in there
5 Reboot to see your new animation with sound.
WARNING!!!!
As with any modifying of system files anything can go wrong!!! Make a FULL BACKUP before using this. It does work for me and have been using it for a few days with no problems. But i hold no responsibility if your phone bricks from this, your doing it at your own risk. So please know what you are doing and if you need help ask before not after you bricked your phone.

Issues:
This as far as i know, only works on the cricket version as it was only tested on that version. I'm sure with the rename of the zip file and sound file to the proper names for other versions that this will work also for them versions. Please test it and let others know.
The sound file is synced on my phone so it should be synced on all phones but due to different roms and how there set up the sound could be off if it is i am sorry bout that and there's nothing i can really do about it that i am aware of. If i am wrong let me know.
I hope you all enjoy it and thanks to old.splatterhand for helping me with the zip problem.
For the Cricket LTE 4G (may work for other versions)
Test it out and let me know what you all think. I hope you all enjoy it as i had making it.

OK, I'm moving this out of J's CM7 thread so that I'm not spamming it on him. This is a boot animation done for J's CM7/FreeXperia 2.3 but will work with other ROM's as well.
I kind of like a little action with the boot animation on my phone so I decided to cobble something together to replace the (rather excellent) splash screen that J included with v018. It turned out OK so I thought I would share it with you all.
It's not my work. Animation is thanks to cole20444 over at droidforums.net and the splash is thanks to Uraharasama from the bootscreen contest here on XDA. All I did was remove some frames and add a few others to give a smooth transition from animation to the splash.

Bootanimation.zip is not flashed with XRecovery and is used as is without unzipping it. You can use adb to push the file to either /system/media (this will overwrite the original) or to /data/local (leaves original as is and this version will be used instead) an alternative to using adb is to use root explorer.
Gingerbreadman reports that it's a bit laggy and doesn't have time to complete before lock screen appears. I'll continue to strip it down to reduce the length and to make it smoother.
OP updated with V2 which should be shorter. Still going to need some working on smoothing the animation out.
An easy way to install this for guys like me that dont know about adb and stuff is get root explorer (mount r/w) and go to system/media and cut the boot animation out and place it on your sd card as a backup and then find your downloaded one and move it to system/media. Dont unzip the file. Reboot to see effects ;-)
Ok v2 is much much smoother and better and doesnt lag. Has plenty of chance to complete. Perhaps the animation could be a little longer cos the splash screen is shown for perhaps twice the length of time of the animation.
Another small suggestion would be to perhaps replace the android on the splash screen with a cyanogenmod android with his skate board but of course this is personal taste
Thanks very much GreatBigDog grand job

It seems to be great.I'd like to have a try.
Thanks a lot.
This is my first ever attempt at "compiling" a boot animation, so bare with me (suggestions are welcome!). I spent the last 2-hours resizing all the images then playing with all files and such trying to get it to properly boot. Added a little "Kindle" logo modified with PaintShop Pro X to "splash" in Ice Cream Sandwich logo at the end of an existing animation. Finally got everything working correctly, so here it is.

No problem man.
I'm at work, when I get home I'll let you know. I think its 600/1260 or something but I'm not certain.

The desc file requires to be set at 600x1024.
My actual image files are set at 360x640.
Thank you and fyi
To OP; Your info on how to change boot animation helped me, but i had to figure out that you meant rows not columns. Columns go up and down, rows go side to side.
I know this post is pretty old but do you still have that animation? The link is for a pulsing "Android".
--edit-- NM. Didn't adjust permissions.
This is awesome!!! Thanks!
I lost the boot animation on my kindle fire hd 10 7 gen. does anyone have the bootanimation file in the system/bin section?
Hi everyone, I have a Samsung Galaxy S WIFI 5.0 and when trying to put an apk into the system/apps folder I accidently the apps folder out of the system folder and now it dosn't start. It runs through the boot animation but then displays a black screen playing the force close vibration pattern. But it boots into recovery and download mode fine so I may as well try a factory reset. So I did and still the same. So now all I can do is flash a ROM. And the one that I want: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1689310
Cannot be flashed by Odin but only CMW. So now I have to flash a new kernel to get CMW, This one:
http://www.androidauthority.com/galaxy-player-5-0-s-wi-fi-rj-custom-kernel-overclock-84994/
But is it wise to do this in the state my device is in? And also I don't have usb debugging enabled.
Can You help?
I dont have hardly any experience but from a general from a general idea/thought, why dont you flash the latest official rootable firmware from Samsung, thus succesfully rooting it, install CWM recovery, from there install the rom you were talking about
Sent from my R800i using xda premium
I know that is the sensible idea but i'm not a one for flashing roms or kernels as I get worried about bricking and I would prefer to do it all at once.

Buut yeah, factory resetting only wipes the /data & the /cache partition, if you don't have stuff in the /system partition it won't start.
Just go to your device's forum, follow the procedure and your phone will be running like butter again ^^
Its almost impossible to hardbrick a Samsung phone ;-)

I feel really silly asking this question cause i'm new to all this you see but what procedure?
Dosn't matter now. Fixed it by installing a different ROM
My favorite aspect of the new Windows 8 was the little spinning dots that would be there at startup (at least in the developer builds). Well, I decided to make a boot animation from that.

The actual boot amination runs much smoother than the gif
I made this for the G2x so it should work on any HDPI display.
To install:
Download the zip: View attachment W8BootSpin.zip
Use any file manager with Root access (ie. Rootexplorer)
Move the zip to /system/media/ and rename it to bootanimation.zip
Change the permissions to (rw-r--r--) or (Owner: Read Write, Group: Read, Others: Read)
Reboot and enjoy!
If you like this, please click thanks!

I downloaded the zip file and moved it to system/media and then renamed as bootanimation.zip
Before that I deleted the old animation because it did not let me change the name.
I did the wipe from cwm menu phone works now without win 8 animation...

Have you tried one of those boot animation managers that they have on the play store. I don't know if that will work or not but it could be worth a try.
