One X boot loop - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

Hello Everyone,
I just got my Tegra 3 One X yesterday, charged it for a few hours and then turned it on. Then installed a few apps, some of wich i couldn´t find in the phone after installed. Then i updated the software, the cellphone rebooted and it was ok. Then i updated the Sense, and started to boot loop.
In the hboot i tried both the recovery and the factory reset, but immediately after press the power button it start to boot loop again. Don´t know what to do, i can´t acces the phone with the Sync.
In the hboot screen appear Locked and S-off.

one x for sale bricked, can it be fixed?

Found a One X for sale at a good price however, it has this problem:
This phone was unsuccesfully rooted and now won't power on *Bricked*. Can be identified by computer but won't HBoot
Can this be fixed?
Thanks!

Your always going to run a risk of having problems with the phone, but if it truly can be detected by a computer, running an RUU should bring it back up. Are you able to.ask previous owner specific details about what they used to "root" it?

[Q] HTC One X won't get past One x screen

Hi,
Yesterday I tried flashing my One X for the first time, but now it seems to be stuck at the the One X screen when I try booting it.
Tried pretty much everything and now my back-up seems to be wiped as well..
When getting the version with the fastboot tool I get: 3.14.161.28, it is a Dutch Vodafone branded phone.
Is there anyway to get it alive again?
Would love your input!
Thanks in advance

HTC One X possibly fixable

Allright, I've been searching for days and I have tried so many solutions
So after I lost wifi on my HTC one X because it just said "error" I read that I needed a new kernel, so I had to root it
I unlocked bootloader perfectly fine and installed clockworkrecoverymod and it was all great, everything functioned great and I hadn't screwed anything up
I put the ViperX ROM on my phone and I flashed it, afterwards I flashed the boot.img with bootloader through my PC that was in that ROM
I started it up, it booted perfectly I was freaking happy, but then my touch screen didn't work anymore but my side buttons and stuff were still working, I was freaking out and I tried restoring my backup with the clockwork thing, and that seemed to work but now it's in a bootloop.
I extracted the original signed_boot.img from my phone's software's RUU and I flashed that, but still no success
before I flashed that signed_boot.img, I also tried going the viperX again and it worked again but still no touchscreen, and I found online that my touchscreen software was too updated for this version or something so I had to downgrade it and I tried to but it didn't work
Also worth mentioning maybe: I tried flashing the signed_system.img from the RUU too but it said the heap was too small? don't know if this is relevant
I hope someone can help me
ViperX? Do you mean ViperXL? Because if you do mean the former, you're in the wrong forum. Do you have a dual or quad core phone?

I have the HTC One X, but I'm from some european country and this is the only one that said One X, and it's a quad-core
Don't tell me I installed the wrong Viper because I followed everything from this guide on the internet and he installed ViperX on his HTC One X and I followed step by step

[Q] Reverting back to Stock Rom.

Well haven't I been a bit of an idiot?!
Right then, so I installed the SentinelROM, rom, no problems there had a play around with it for a few days, and felt that it wasn't for me. So I went back to my recovery (TWRP) to install the backup I made, hoping it would backup my phone to its original rom.
Now the problem started with a bootloop, where it just got stuck on the "HTC One X" screen. So I wiped the system again, and tried to install the backup again and again. Nothing worked, so thought of flashing the recovery image I had. Tried that, nothing worked. This also got rid of the TWRP Recovery in the process.
I've been searching everywhere on how to revert to the original ROM, and I've had no luck so far. Either the tutorials are just a bit confusing, or I can't find the right files!
Now, could someone help me with this? If they have the relevant files that is. I'll try my best to give all the details you need, I'm just desperate to get my phone working again.
I was running JB 4.1 on my HTC One X.
My CID is ORANG001
HBOOT 1.36
Version-Main 3.16.61.6
Please could someone help me with this problem, and maybe explain it a bit more clearly! It would be greatly appreciated.
I'd also like to apologize if this seems like a noob question, since it is.
And I understand there must be loads of these questions in the forum. But I have looked but I can't seem to find a relevant one to my phone, and one that has a recent RUU file.

[Q] Problems reinstalling Stock ROM

Hi there.
I'm really, really new on this subject, but this weekend i tried booting my HTC One X into Cyanogenmod. Unfortunately i was not satisfied as my Internet Browsers (Built-in and Chrome) kept crashing.
I now want to get back to the Stock ROM, but i'm uncertain what to do. I browsed this page for way too long last night, but there was no help to find.
Upon installation of Cyanogenmod, i createda back-up which i tried restoring from, but after that it could not boot, and this very moment i'm scared i bricked my phone or something.
While my phone was working i downloaded the correct Stock ROM and placed it on my SD-card. I tried installing it via recovery mode, but the installation aborted.
Any help would be fantastic, but please keep in mind that i'm new on the subject, and english isn't my primary language.
Cheers.
Firstly, is your phone the HTC One X (Endeavoru) or the HTC One XL / at&t One X (Evita)?

One X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Looks like One X to me -
Anyways - I found RUU + guide HERE . My phone booted the stock system now, but i can't Unlock it (Screen-lock, finger-swipe thing you know).
Any advice on this?
Nope. Take it from someone who knows what they're talking about, someone who is on this forum every single day because I have the One XL. I can't give you any advice because I don't know anything about your phone because you're asking in the wrong forum. You have the HTC One X, and I'll say again this is the HTC One XL / at&t One X forum, completely different device.
