Well... I know this question will be answered in this web, but I canot find it...It's true.. sorry...
I have been looking for a good rom for Galaxy Mini S2, but I don't find anything. I know it is not a great mobile, but when I bought it, first-hand, new, without install anything else but whatsapp..... My mobile goes horrible. I tried a hard reset, and I got the same. So, I think the solution is a rom. But which one?
I'm thinking in CM10 but I don't find my mobile between supported devices... What do you suggest me?
Thank you!!!
Comparing ROMs is not allowed here in xda... sorry bro!

Really??? I don`t understand why. I just wanna know which rom is "supported" for my mobile. I see CM doesn`t. But another one?
I can't also find in this forum a rom list which I can read to choose the best for me.
Thanks.
first.. the solution to your problem is NOT THE ROM! its not a thing to play wid... remember there is a risk that u might end up with an unusable phone is the flashing fails... Try a clean data/cache/dalvik cache via cwm and then give it a try... if u are still under warranty then dont hesitate in going to authorised service centre... i would also suggest u to FREEZE all unwanted apps... ONLY APPS! not SYSTEM SERVICES!

Many thanks. I hadn't think about just a wipe and freeze unwanted apps. I cannot go to warranty because yesterday I dropped the phone, and SAT will say the issue is because of this....
I'll try it this evening.

This is THE THREAD!!!!!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2030758
Don't want to open a new thread for this question
Is CM 10 or 10.1 faster -smoother than the stock rom 2.3.6?
I mean, are 392MB of ram and 800Mhz of cpu enough for a CM 10.x rom?

I know that this thread is pretty much extra but I am unable to flash it(I followed the guide and did not miss a single step).[XXKPE that is...]
So I need someone who have successfully flashed this to post a video of you showing the whole process of flashing it.
Thanks!!
For someone who claims to have ported CM7, I'm sure this should be an easy feat for you, Why do you need a video

I did the same thing using Camtasia. Then I realized the guide is useless because people want to see the phone's reaction and what happens. They already know what Odin's job is :\
Hmm...I see..Then, I don;t think i will be risking of re-flashin my FW..I can show you the odin part of it!
You can do one thing..Tell us where you are stuck and we can help you out?
..Thats what I thought so rohan LOL.
I'm guessing that many of you guys already know this, but as this is not posted anywhere else in our forum, I'd like to post here, since I found this just randomly.
Touch your status/notification bar for a second (do not pull down) and then slide left/right to decrease/increase your screen Brightness.
Cool Right !!
NOTE : Auto Brightness should be turned off for this to work.
While posting this thread I saw few threads on other Phones' forums about this tip, and from the responses, I see many guys were not aware of this. So I think this thread will make some sense.
It’s working...... really cool man....

I second that it doesn't work on Ace though it was a while back that I had checked it, so a new update might have added this feature for them too.

Yeah, I guess so.
At the moment, I'm waiting a few weeks before switching to one of the custom ROMs which are currently being developed and tested. I think I'll live without this brightness feature until then Although it sounds really nice.

Well, I was not able to downgrade to 4.1.2 Vincom... Unfortunately Odin did not worked out as expected, and when I tried to do it through CWM, I was not able to downgrade it for some reason... this doesn't explain anything, and it's spelled "stunned". what you needed to do to avoid random problems was to read the stickies. you wouldn't be "stunt" and you would know what to do in the first place. it's really not that much reading and the best part is: you'll actually know what you're doing. :good:

Rumors have it that the update to Samsung will bring a crappy security system called KNOX, which is like the number of custom images we have on samsung devices, but KNOX cant be removed in any way. It is permanent

Everything was working. Wifi was giving some authentication errors. In Logcat it looked like "CTRL-EVENT-ASSOC-REJECT .... status_code=1" . Couldnt fix it in any way
